Combination of dinner and Ramanyana ballet is a good idea. While dinner we were accompanied by Javanese Gamelan music, but the music of a wedding ceremony nearby was a too strong competitor. Pity! The seats in the theater are uncomfortable for elder people. The actors and musicians were very good.

Quite big, i went to the amphitheatre, it was big but for 2.5 hours show, it was painful to sit straight..the audio and lighting was ok. I didnt check the toilet. Unfortunately, the story was definitely for others' taste, not mine. Overall, the venue was OK.

Its an awesome night to spent. You will feel the entertaining ballet traditional dance mix up with some local jokes. If you book directly, you could choice the package with special buffet dinner. Two thums up and easy place to find

The dancing was out of this world. I really didn't know what to expect, but the whole thing was phenomenal. Great customs, dancing and a live orchestra. I also had the dinner buffet. It was a little pricey, but it was tasty and had all sorts of local dishes. It was easy to just eat and then proceed to the shore. There was also live music and a dancer during the meal. A very nice atmosphere. It's all covered, so it's no big deal when it rains.

What a great Ramayana ballet. The dinner was amazing, plenty of dishes. Good ambiance both outdoor and gazebo.

Often used for drum band competitions, children of kindergarten age. The place is spacious and closed so it's safe if it's raining. Parking is widely available, both private cars and buses. Yesterday there was no parking inside. Parking rates are rather expensive if there is an event, if there is no wrong car, IDR 10bb and a bus IDR 25bb.

Purawisata deliberately changes its name because it wants to go up caste. Because, so far Purawisata is only synonymous as a place of entertainment, especially dangdut music. This new name is expected to be a Purawisata representation that will turn into a cultural home for all arts in Jogja.

Nice place. Has nice restaurant. But the performance wasn't at least as expected. I don't think most of the performers even gave their average effort. They look tired and like they're just repeating moves.
