Marriott: Fairfield Inn--Terre Haute, IN Review

Nice place but no hot tub available and pool is only 5' deep, Free Breakfast though

Extremely accomidating. Exceeded our expectations when meeting handicapped requirements.

The hotel is clean, and the staff is very friendly. We went to swim for my daughter's birthday and the indoor pool was freezing! Also, the hot tub is no longer there...even though google says they have a hot tub.

Breakfast was hot and fresh!

First of all, be warned, the empty lot in front of this hotel in the satellite view is blocked off and unavailable for trailer parking!
This is the only Fairfield I've ever been remotely disappointed with. The walls are thin, the vent in the bathroom was loud and rattley, and the air conditioner unit only mostly worked. That being said, the staff were very friendly, the place was clean, water hot, and bed comfortable.

Room was clean and comfortable. The pool was great and had a hot tub also.

Grear fairfeild inn, not a residence inn, hence in this class, perfect. Automatic doors, clean, great people

Passing through, was clean, 2nd time stopping here.

Great room. Gave us a roll away for for no extra charge. Grab and go breakfast (muffin & fruit) due to COVID. Just wish there was a fan in the bathroom.

Conveniently located near the Interstate. Clean room. Good mattress.

Yess. Very nice place. Should have stayed there again when I was in the area. Chose the Hampton across the street. Not a good idea. I will be back here when I come back to the area.

Best Fairfield I've stayed at. The front desk staff are outstanding.

They don't have usb outlets so don't forget your phone charger. We had issues with our first room. The bed wasn't completely made. They got us a new room without delay. Breakfast was standard. Nice space to eat in.

So much more nice than I d expected for the price.
Everything in the room was immaculate. Quality toiletries. Nice indoor pool. Excellent WiFi speed. Breakfast provided.

This place is absolutely nothing special, but it gets the job done for the price. Unfortunately my room smelled really musty as if it had recently had wet carpet or something so I had little to no interest in spending time at the hotel.

Breakfast was just okay, but it was free so I guess you can t complain much about that.

I can tell this is an older hotel, but it has been renovated and is very nice and clean. Great value.

This was a very nice place. The rooms were nice and large. The staff was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful.

Very clean room. The price was decent and the people were very nice. I like that you can buy food up by the front desk. No need to leave if you get hungry late at night.

Very unprofessional. Had trouble with the house keeping manager and assistant house keeping manager. Wish them the best, but will never go there again. Qaulity Inn was better.

Rooms are nice but difficult to share, only one chair is provided and there's just barely room to walk around the bed. The complimentary breakfast was very good as such things go, much better than some I've had. Good as a place to sleep but not if you are looking to spend any amount of time in the room.

Indoor pool, no jacuzzi. The eggs were pretty awful.

Good: I checked in online and the front desk had my key ready. Sliding front door. Hot Breakfast including eggs, sausage and biscuits. Welcome gift for Marriott Rewards members. Friendly front-desk staff. Television

Bad: Elevator not temperature-regulated. Button on 3rd floor didn't stay lit when depressed. Television not High Definition (HD).

Have stayed at several Fairfields recently. This one was fine. Looked a little dated, but was clean. Did not have the musty smell that a lot of Fairfields have

Money stolen from room and staff was very unhelpful in regards to it

Smelly AC on first stay, tiny room with no place for luggage, an ottoman with no couch and one ice machine for the entire hotel?! This is not your best work, Marriott International.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. Very well maintained. Rooms very clean. Staff takes pride in their work and is super courteous to the guest and makes you feel like you are old friends. High praise to this manager and her staff. A++ over all rating. Price was more than fair and the pool was great for the kids. Thank you Fairfield in Terre Haute for a great stay!!

Friendly front desk staff. Fast check in. Great breakfast. Requested a crib and it was in our room when we returned from dinner.

The front desk lady was so unprofessional. Her teeth fell out of her mouth and on the floor, and her shirt was filthy . Furthermore a guest approached the desk about an envelope he left in his room when he checked out. She properly identified him and returned the envelope and then accepted a 20.00 tip. Lastly as we checked in we refused a handicapped room because we booked through price line. My husband is a double amputee combat wounded veteran. I was beyond disgusted at the lack of help this lady provided. We are passing through and guaranteed on our way home as we pass through again we wont be choosing this hotel.

The staff here (cathy, believe her name,front counter) as well as Manager (Lori, I believe) made me feel as Welcome as a guest in a "home" ,not just a "hotel"! The room VERY cozy, cozy...front desk CALLED me in room when checked in JUST to make sure room was satisfying for me,SERIOUSLY?!?I felt as though I stayed at a 5 star hotel!! OUTSTANDING Service!! This is THE place to stay when in Terra Haute people!!

Nice but I heard interstate noise all nite, plus there isn't a hotel in Terre Haute that's worth $100 @ nite!!

Friendly front desk personnel, clean rooms, pool and exercise room.

Nice place. Modest price and it delivers on all fronts. The exercise room is nice and even better than Spring Hill suites nearby. Rooms food etc are good. Convenient to all restaurants. Walk to Cracker Barrel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Just as everyone else said, the beds are GREAT! My agent who checked me in and also helped me with my non operational TV in my room deserves 5 stars as well. I love her personality! Very cheerful and helpful!

Standard Marriott hotel. The rooms are nice and it has easy access to the interstate. The entrance is not intuitive, but shares a lane with Comfort Inn and Cracker Barrel.

This is an older Fairfield but still a nice place to stay. Cathy was a breath of fresh air with great customer service.

Stayed here last night! The lady's at the front desk where very nice and Curtis to us! The room was definitely clean! We had a nice desk and had microwave and refrigerator in our room. The indoor pool and hot tub was clean too.. There was a bunch of salt grains at the bottom of the hot tub but other than that it was as it was suppose to be. Clean and working properly!
The only problem we had last night was being on the second floor and you can hear everything the person above us was doing including slamming doors and running which I know is not the hotels fault as they can't control what others do. That's why I gave it a 4 stars it was hard to fall asleep. Would definitely stay again just get a room on very top floor so as not hear the noise :)
Also the breakfast area was nice and spacious and had plenty of good things to choose from.

The room was very nice and I got a good rate however the cleaning crew needs to clean under the furniture better I found dirty socks from a previous customer underneath the couch

The stay was good. The staff great as usual. Only issue this time around was the bed was overly firm as were the pillows.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The beds were comfortable the breakfast was great. Around many great restuarnts. However, I do have a couple of negative things to say about it. There was a front desk employee that was refreshing the breakfast and dropped some of the bacon on the counter and picked it up with her bare hand and just threw it in with the rest of the bacon. That's disgusting! The other thing was the whole time I was there 6 days the housekeeperscame in everyday and never put a trash bag in any of the trash cans. I thought that was weird. All then that it was a great stay. Much recommended!

I have been staying for the past 3 weeks in another place very close to this one had nothing but problems after problems the place was a lot newer than this 1 now I'm here leaps and bounds better wonderful staff clean rooms a nice warm feeling to the rooms The dining room for breakfast is casual dining quality very nice loving my stay so far

Visited Terre Haute on buisness. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Price was reasonable.

Great Staff ,Super Clean,Wonderful choices for both Hot and Cold FREE breakfast! Already booked for our return trip on my way home.

Checked in and went to the pool, during that time we had money come up missing and the hotel staff and manager refused to view camera's to see who entered our room during that time. We will not be returning.
