My husband and I had a wonderful experience. Regarding the previous comment about the buffet dinner - it was delicious!! And it seems like they have many vegetarian options... The ballet was very cool - nothing we've ever experienced before. The costumes were amazing! We'd definitely recommend this to others. Thank you!

Best part of the show was a rat running fast on the roof behind the dancers... tourist trap.

They mentioned drinks (water or beer) were included in the buffet price but that was not true. Pointless to discuss that with the floor manager as they don't or don't want to understand english well.

It's nice to watch dance here. The attractions are good, there's a fire dance, and the acrobats are also happy to be able to see the show at an affordable price, really recommended for those who travel longer in Jogja.

Personally, this is Better than ramayana ballet in prambanan temple, the performance is astonishing. Hanoman and his army even climb to the stage roof, bringing the best atmosphere of story to the audience. Best of luck to the ballet group, we REALLY enjoy it

The Mandira Baruge theater was an amazing experience. The food was decent, but the show was breathtaking. One piece of advice, take it or leave it: before visiting Mandira Baruga, try to read the story until you know everything. In this way you'll understand the whole dance/act.

I m so recommended this performance while you visiting Yogyakarta... they also have a nice buffet with dance performances. I m so happy watching the Ramayana Performance.

The dance is good .. the characters of the little monkeys are funny .. the hanuman obong scene is amazingly good ... the lighting is good for me to take photos.

Ramayana Ballet Purawisata has been presented in full story every night at 20.00 - 21.30 WIB since 1976. In 2001, Ramayana Ballet Purawisata has won the Guinness Book of Records (MURI) for its consistency in performing cultural performances for 29 years continuously. Consistency in maintaining the noble values of this culture continues, until this August 10 2016, Purawisata Ramayana Ballet has celebrated its 40th anniversary.

Currently, the Ramayana Ballet is being performed in an amphitheater with a capacity of 600 seats. The semi-open concept of this amphitheater provides comfort for tourists who will watch the Ramayana Ballet show. Apart from watching the Ramayana Ballet, the manager also offers a special dinner package at the restaurant that combines a beautiful garden atmosphere with magnificent Javanese architecture.
