Beautiful decor and extremely helpful staff. Trolley tickets can be purchased from concierge . Tons of uber and taxis downstairs. If you need anything, there is a CVS and Starbucks across the street. Some restaurants next door as well. National mall is at a walkable distance.

When I want to get away from the kids and not leave the city, I come here for the service, spa and the comfy beds. Always excellent! Get a waterview suite for a different perspective to Washington, DC.

My wife and I spent an incredible night at this extremely well-located hotel. It was a five-star experience from the time we arrived until the time we departed. As a Friend of M.O. we were treated to a complimentary upgrade to a water-view room looking out on the marina, and two amenities. The hotel was following a number of Covid safety protocols which made us feel very safe. Our room was very comfortable and well-appointed. We used room service for both dinner and breakfast, and both meals were delicious and well-portioned. The best part of the visit was the hotel staff, with special shout-outs to Saida Jama at the front desk who checked us in and out while making sure that we had a five-star experience and Duane who was our valet. It was the perfect getaway that we both needed very much. We can't wait to return to this hotel ... possibly for the cherry blossoms in the spring!

A very cool place to rest, the rooms are clean and well maintained, the service is ok, the staff courteous and available, the food is good. I will advise you willingly. I confirm this opinion except the behavior of Mrs. Nathalia restaurant that I do not call racist but rather zenophobic.

Spa Experience is so amazing. I enjoyed a hot stone massage with Mandarin Oriental signature oils. The therapist was knowledgable and explained everything as this was my first experience. The Amethyst Steam Room was such a healing experience.

Came here for high tea and left with a smile on my face. The location is central, the lobby and lounge are immaculate and gorgeous, and the rest of the hotel is beautiful and stunning. They do an amazing job here. Definitely will return.

Great place to have a get together in a small group setting, party, impromptu, British tea parties held at the Mandarin Oriental, have a menu as well, if you just want to sit in & visit, a beautiful place for dinner reservations... or just for pictures or to hang out, rooms starting at $250 & up. Let me know how you guys like it?

This is my fourth time staying here. It is a really great hotel that I would have rated 5 star a year ago. My recent visit I noticed some things that weren't as good as before. So I had to give it a 4 because it wasn't perfect and the $55 parking per day fee is crazy if you are just staying there for the night passing through.

Stayed here for a conference and I must say it was amazing. Modern room and very clean. Staff was friendly and easy to deal with. Food and drinks were decent and reasonably priced for the area. This is one of the best hotels I ve stayed in and would highly recommend for a luxurious stay.

Top notch! Bell service on point. Front desk personnel amazing! Lobby was gorgeous. They have a HOUSE car that drives you where you need to go - brand new Mercedes. Spa,pool and gym are immaculate. My only constructive advice is to get a gift shop or snack shop of some sort. At night the kids were hungry and there was not an option unless you ordered room service. Nighttime snack stop are a must. Other then that the hotel is definitely great!

5 Star Hotel, 5 Star service. From the time I arrived at the airport, to the time of my departure, I was attended to with Ultra professionalism, courteous staff that addressed me by name, friendly and kind, very accommodating. Great location. Located near pretty much everything,. Walking or Uber, you're only seconds and minutes away from all of the attractions as well as dining. You have to come here. Worth it, I promise. You won't regret it.

I don t usually write reviews but my recent experience was exceptional! Tanner and Yousef are both shining examples of terrific customer service! Kudos to the team at the MO in DC for raising the standard, training so very well and providing the best customer service I have seen in a very long time!

Service was great. The tea menu system is confusing until you see it. They need to clean certain corridors better. And the price was pretty high. Almost 50 bucks for a tea, refill, and tiny cookies and sandwiches.

Booked for a romantic weekend for my girlfriend. The staff were awesome with helping me to make this a special weekend! From making sure the flower arrangements that I had delivered, were placed in the room before we checked in to the in-room dinning service to the easy check-in check-out. The room with water view was very cozy and elegant. The treats that they sent for her birthday were excellent (in taste and aesthetics). If you are looking for a romantic weekend in DC, plan something special with this hotel and they will make sure it happens! She or he will never forget.

Very enjoyable experience. The staff was extremely attentive and everything was immaculate. They're very focused on the presentation of their establishment and it shows. Comfortable bed, large bathroom with extra amenities, mini bar for indulging, and good closet space.

My husband surprised me with a weekend getaway to experience the National Cherry Blossom Festival. We had a room on the top floor and could see the basin. It was beautiful! The room was gorgeously decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom was stunning and I could have stayed in the shower forever! The water was perfectly temped and the water pressure was luxiourios. We are vegan and they accommodated our dietary requests. We took full advantage of the in room dining! The food was delicious. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. They provided a complimentary souvenier pin and provided us with a picnic lunch. The basin was a very short walk from the hotel courtyard. We didn't have to drive the whole time we spent here. It was wonderful. I highly recommend staying here. It's extremely close to many sites and attractions. The 8th floor lounge is an added bonus.
