I stayed there on the 26th of October the day of the Fire in the Irvine area. I watched the care the staff and management put into making sure those who had been displaced by the fire were provided a hassle-free experience.... and to beat that they lowered the price on their Rooms, no resort fees and free valet parking.
I wasn't a part of the fire group but received the same benefits. My Room was great, service was awesome and my meals at the different restaurants were superb !

Beautiful resort overlooking the Pacific. Wonderful staff. Great location and amenities. A bit of a funny thing to mention, but it has the best shower pressure of any place I have stayed in a long time. :-) Comfortable bed, extremely quiet and restful sleep. Add to your list.

Really nice hotel, the views of the golf course and beach are nice at sunset. Kids loved the pool, they have one just for them which is 6in to 3.6ft. Perfect for the little ones. The service was great especially by the pool, they set the chairs for us and for drinks in our hands in less then 5 :). Variety of food in the restaurants for kind of limited would really like to see more choices especially for the snacks part, but other than that it was great. Really enjoyed the early check-in and late check-out they offered for AMEX users.

Used to be a St Regis hotel but now it s even better. Multi million dollar renovation ended up in an upscale resort with an excellent taste in decoration and space distribution. Large and spacious rooms with great lighting options all dimmable and warm light. Excellent service.

We came to visit a relative in town and loved the excellent level of service and delicious food and drinks. The staff was impeccable, kind, and knowledgeable. The resort itself is beautifully decorated and felt quite luxurious. Although I wasn't an overnight guest, I get the sense that while staying here, youd have everything you'd need to feel comfortable and pampered.

For $700 our room with a view of the Golf Course was not bad.
Small, but clean and had a view of the sunset.
It's a long walk to the rooms!
Nice hotel.
The cafe girls were sooo nice!!!
They made me any drink that I could think of each morning.

Stayed at resort in 7/2017. This resort books a lot of group functions/weddings. I found it to be inconvenient to the resort guests. Loud group functions with people literally running around everywhere. As far as the room, it was just ok. Not really worth the price. It was like they where trying to act like a fancy resort but was not. We ate at the Aveo and the food was horrible. They forgot my daughter's food and when her food was finally brought out, everything else was cold. Plus this horrible meal cost us almost 200.00 for 4 people.

Beautifully location, very peaceful, but unfortunately this hotel suffers from the rip off tax, once they have you in, they feel it their duty to overcharge you. Adding 21% plus $5 to a $10 bagel when in room, plus charging you $15 for using the internet, despite paying $300+ per night. It's a shame these hotels feel the necessity to behave like crooks. My stay would of been a lot less pleasant without these charges added.

Very Elegant & expensive. Great French fries! If only I had more money for enjoyment. Unfortunately, all my money goes for rent. LA is just way too expensive. California for that matter.

Gorgeous place, excellent staff but very expensive. This is your typical 4/5 star hotel so high pricing is expected. Having said that, you are getting what you pay for. If you are looking for a very high class place to stay, play golf or hold meetings, this is one to consider!

Great relaxing but elegant resort for a long weeke...

Great relaxing but elegant resort for a long weekend getaway or longer holiday. We had a fire pit terrace room

Not a great view (facing pool) not ocean but was spacious, large bathroom, king bed, lounge chaise, desk and patio with chairs and a gas fire pit.

Lots of options for fitness - great workout center and full schedule of classes ie: yoga, spin etc. We had a golf package and enjoyed the Golf Links course.

Enough restaurants to keep you on property and happy as well as room service.

Speaking of service everyone was super friendly and helpful including the booking person we spoke to in the phone. Had OTT dinner @ Bourbon Steak - named best restaurant in OC. Delicious steaks cooked perfectly. Big wine list ($45 corkage if you BYO) and
pricey but a great dining experience. Complimentary duck fat truffle fries as well as after dinner truffles and a souvenir bag of bourbon Carmel corn to take home. Perfect for a big evening out.
