Absolutely great Makro. Tills move so fast they are very organised.

Honestly not the best place to do shopping of any sort. The staff here is very unhelpful and very rude. The staff have very little knowledge of what's on the floor and the products that sell. Which I find very unprofessional. They are rarely the cheapest, the only thing that makes them worth 2 stars is the fast selection and variety of products, but on the other hand, these products are quite over priced, so then again, not worth any more stares. The checkout tills are pathetically slow, the most unpleasant staff ever, and every single time I have been here, there was something wrong or something went wrong with the billing or something else.

Great specials - large variety of goods to choose from and always go there when I need a new hard drive "have about 20"

Love coming here. Pity the prices are not always competitive or no flyers sent to outlying areas

Today Makro Vaal was a good experience, had a return,refunded with a smile.did some shopping as well finding staff members to be welcoming and assistive

This store is an awesome place to shop, the staff is very friendly and helpful towards the customers, they employees know their store well and the products. It's big to shop even if you go with kids...

The store is clean, has almost everything you can think of. My quirk was the staff... ALL of them act as if they're doing you a favour... You ask for help, the visual sigh is apparent, knowing where something is? Oh, please, I'll shout down the aisle to another staff member who might know. No smiles, no desire to be customer centric... The most shocking was the printer section to the left of the main entrance - two staff members were flirting with each other, 2 feet away from me waiting for some help. Such disappointment Makro, for a customer centric business, the focus is lacking.

When asking assistants, were I can find items they guided me to the correct shelves.

Shopping and cashier lines was seamless. They're very conscious of safe distancing and have sanitisers available throughout your shopping in the store

Everything u buy en it breaks u don't need a slip to return it, it on ur card records nice

You can do all your shopping under 1 roof from diy to grocery shopping, appliances, etc.

Check the goods put into your trollies. Unfortunately you do get shrewd and shady people working here.

Makro Vaal has a new service they scan your basket just like that in the queue just sorry then they cheat you if the cheese's price is marked R89.00 / kg 2. 75 kg = R245.46 then the new one reads it as R99. 00 / kg and it costs you R275.00 and if there is 1 item
are lazy they just 2. Please be on the lookout and do not think you are saving time it costs you extra money.

In my opinion this is one of the greatest Makro stores in our country. Helpful staff is everywhere you just need to ask and they will serve you like your the boss.

Massive store with anything and everything you may need. There are many specials (buy 3 for R100 etc.) and also very competitively priced. Many different areas/sections (electronics, food, children's toys, sport, garden, clothing, alcoholic beverages) that you can go through and find what you are looking for.
Above all the shopping, there is a Wiesenhof coffee shop situated inside the store where you can enjoy something to eat and drink.
Really enjoyable store that suits all a customer may need. Highly recommended: Five stars.
