Its okey. The personell working in some departmens arent friendly and helpfull at all.

I was at the Thursday . I have a great service . I was at the outdoor department looking for champ chair. When I got there it were finished. I have to settle for displayed one . One of the staff there was every nice and helpful. He said ma'am I going to look for the new one first. And he did bring new one. I paid and leave. Thanks you so much.

The most unhelpful people in the exchange department, they refused to help me and didn't even acknowledge my existences as it was closing time, there were 4 workers helping one person that didn't have a slip or a card and even helped her to go through into the shop. I rate Makro Vall a zero out of ten, terrible service

This is the worst Makro I have ever been to. The service is pathetic and nobody wants to help you. I waited almost three hours for them to bring me a table I bought. I will next time drive to Johannesburg and shop there. It will be quicker.

Makro vaal is average. Had to wait long when I collected an online order. The process is not working.

"One Stop Shop" if I can't find it at Makro Vaal, I can't find it anywhere else!

Very large and has everyday items all under one roof.

Good price on the specials. Unfortunately Extreme long queues to pay today. Not enough tellers on duty and that on month end. Come on Makro you can do better. The store closed but the queues were still long. Frozen foods thawed completely. Will it be replaced when spoiled????

Well this is the place to shop if you want the best price and most relax shopping, and get you Macro card and get even more Discounted in the Top left corner of the store. You do not know what you are missing.

Always have nice specials on food and goods. Prices are very competitive and in most cases better than other retail stores.

If you want to buy in bulk cheaply this store is for you there's nothing like it, it have a lot of offering they sell everything from groceries, appliances, furniture, sport gear, clothes you name them, they sell affordable high quality.

Lethargic staff at the computer and printer section

Customer service is horrendous. Entered the gaming isle to find 2 guys standing around watching TV and one other trying to assist numerous other potential customers. Needless to day the guy who was actually doing his work didn't manage to get to me and i left. YOU LOST OUT ON R800.00 Makro. Now imagine how many guest's walk out in a day due to lack of service

Extremely reckless reach truck drivers. Two different drivers in the same day. They don't look where they drive. Almost hit my mom. If I wasn't there to scream they would have hit her. No tapes/warning at all in the area where it happened. The other staff nearby just watch and do nothing. P.S. what makes it worse, is that if you read on some of the other reviews with 1 star rating, Makro Management is copy and pasting their messages here as replies. I got the exact same reply as the other 1 star ratings. No thought, no effort, no service.

Staff is extremely rude and not helpful at all, especially during lunch hours from 12H00 to 14H00. Customers have to walk around to get their products barcodes from the shelf when the product does not have a barcode on. Felt like I was bothering them to have to spend my money there. Will rather spend it at another place next time.

I love coming here to buy some supplies, Makro has everything you can want. I just despise the fact that they are always changing the small gate for pedestrians from Bedworthpark, last time they required me to have their club card and luckily I had one already. But now they just closed the gate and I have to walk all the way around to the main gate. Sux!!!

Prices are good, environment is clean and good customer service.

Great selection and variety which makes it for an excellent shopping experience. There are also great specials on weekends and that goes a long way when operating on a budget. There is sufficient parking space; be prepared for long quees, however there are helpful quee marshals to keep the lines moving.

Worst shopping experience staff at electronics dep treat a customer like they are a non entity and they are more superior than the customer I have been shopping there ever since the store opened was always a friendly atmosphere. I purchased a TV that was not working properly yesterday took it back this morning and purchased another TV the attendant opened the box to check the product was not faulty then told me to tell security to tape it closed asked security was ignored totally there is more to this but the feeling at the store was not welcoming no wonder the store is almost empty.The lady at the till was at least very friendly
