Recommended Make it Cheaper to a friend who runs a business with significant power overheads. From the outset, the team was great. They took time to understand the business and then customize an energy plan with a retailer that would work more effectively for the business.
Result - Huge savings!

Worst thing I've ever been involved with, now receiving 2 gas bills from the same supplier, and 2 electricity bills from different suppliers. Have called and emailed to complain with no response.
The below response was nice. But nothing ever happened. Still receiving 2 bills. Very poor.
This company as absolutely shocking. I signed up and after numerous emails and phone calls I did not received a Welcome pack and I still have nothing now. After speaking to Charles who took my details, he got my information wrong. I then had to redo the whole contact and go through the T&C process. I had emails from the other provided also wanting to reconfirm my details.
Fraustrating and a waste of my time and day to sort this out. Let's hope the Welcome pack does comes through, as I am essentially missing out on the discounted benefits for a month.
I was signed up to a different electricity plan and there was no follow up with the welcome pack as promised and surprisingly I have to go through the electricity retailer. Due to bill not been paid on time I was charge extra. I never had this not paid on time until this Cheap Co screw me up. Never, never again I will deal with them or should any one waisting their precious time and money.
I have used Make It Cheaper over the years now and every time they come back with a compelling new offer that saves me money.. AND they do it with my preferred supplier too so win win! Do yourselves a favour and MAKE IT CHEAPER!!!

Do not have anything to do with this company. My electricity account for my business was changed to another supplier without myself or my business partner being spoken too. We only knew about this when we received a letter from the new company telling us our transfer was completed. Upon calling the new supplier we were informed that we had only moved into the premises in May 2020 when we were closed due to Covid-19. We have been in these premises since July 2017.
MIXED RESULTS: A couple of years ago we were offered a really good plan through this site. But just recently we were misinformed by Make It Cheaper that this plan was no longer available as of March. We therefore signed up to a new plan but when I rang Energy Australia to check, I was told that our original plan was still available to us as existing customers but not available to new customers. I cancelled the plan we had signed up for as we would have paid $500 more per year!
EXCELLENT power broker. Make it Cheaper indeed. You pay nothing to switch to a new competitive rate power provider.
Due to Covid our business energy requirements have changed so we were desperate to see if we could save some money on our electricity bills. We spoke to the guys at Make it Cheaper and they offered really good advice, then secured an energy contract that will save us about $1500 a year. Very happy customer.
