No event set up in the hotel during counter down. Look like live in construction side not match my room rate almost 9133 peso per night also have problem in Shanghai-la circle nobody can help me to solve really sad.

I attended an event at the Rizal Ballroom and forgot my laptop under the dining table. After the 4-hour program, I left without my laptop and forgot i left it there. After a week of trying to figure out where it was, I took a chance and asked their reception. In 10 minutes, after a few questions about the computer, I got it! Thank you tonette staff of Shangrila for taking care of the laptop!

Superb in most ways except the price. They could come down a bit like the other 5 Star hotels here. The buffet was excellent, but the carpets in the room and hallway were a bit dirty. For the money theumy charge they should change the carpets. The STAFF were all around excellent as well.

The staff is very accommodating and friendly. My family and I had a wonderful stay. It was a Christmas to remember. The cake and wine for our anniversary is very much appreciated. The location is very nice. This hotel is highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at Shangri-La Makati. There is just one thing that I noticed.... I got two rooms with a connecting door the one where my kids stayed did not have a bidet in there toilet. I just though that a bidet should be a standard in every toilet in every rooms. Its no big deal actually but I think that is something to be added. Overall the facilities, services and the people are excellent.

I was satisfied with our stay and the services we had upon arrival and stay. But on our check- out day one of your staff on the 6th of June 2019 was not that helpful. I asked for rom availabily and rate because I was planning to book again for the 12th to 13th of June. Instead of checking her computer, she whispered to one of the other staff , then told me that the only available roms er for two nights and that your hotel have so many events that weekend. I check the website and you still have roms available even for one night!
Tell your staffs at the reception that they must always be customer- oriented! That one experience ruined everything for me and my son.

This is my first stay at the Shangri-La and it was very disappointing. The service in the main lobby was slow and staff at times did not acknowledge us. My colleagues and I had the same experience at Circles as well.
The hall and the rooms smelled liked mold or mildew. I encountered 3 cockroaches each day.
My colleagues and I checked out early and moved to the Peninsula.
I will not stay at the Shangri-La, and I will advise my experience with the rest of my colleagues.

Best hotel ever. I will never go anywhere else.

The Hotel staff are friendly and very respectful. And the hotel's wifi connection is more than amazing- so fast and reliable especially you're having online transactions (calls, payment process, downloading, uploading, and etc.).

This is a 5 star hotel in a descent neighborhood of Makati. Actually I give it 4 star for the room since the furniture (table, cabinet etc) is quite outdated but they really try to preserved it. On the last day we need to extend our check out time since our flight was delayed to 9pm and the FO confirmed it, so that's a plus side. The hotel is surrounded by big dept stores, restaurants and greenbelt area. You should know that Makati is a premium area which represents a business district of the Philippines, so Shangri-la Makati has a very strategic location. The downside is only for the room cleaning, they could be a bit intrusive when we didn't open the door after they ring the bell, they just easily enter the room. It happened 2 times within 2 days. I found it very annoying in a 5 star hotel. Restaurant offers generous menu from western to Asian dish, tastes good even not the best, they also has Halal section each morning. The breakfast is a bit pricey, but that could be subjective. It's around 1600-2000 PHP

While I did not stay here, I did relax here for a pre business lunch meeting break and enjoyed a cheese plate with wine and coffee. The plate was delicious and beautifully presented and the atmosphere relaxing and inviting. The location is in a busy part of Makati within Manila within walking distance to the Greenbelt mall.

Friendly staff, courteous and very help in all your needs.From the time I arrived, I feel very welcome from the entire staff. They treat their guests, like myself as family.

Everything was fabulous. The SAGE restaurant dinner was my first time, despite staying about 100 nights at the Makati Shangri-La location over the years so far. SAGE food was awesome and the bar is a great experience also. On the downside, I was unaware that water at the buffet breakfast in Circles was chargeable. Finally, the staff make all the difference. They are all outstanding.

We waited 2hours for check in. We were able to check in at 4pm because they said the room was not ready yet. then waited again for one and a half hour for breakfast. they said many checked in because there was an event and that they did not anticipate the influx of the those guests whatsoever. Its not our fault. We are not even part of the group. I think being in the hotel industry for more than a decade you should master how to deal with those instances. Not worth the amount spent.

Circle's buffet is an epitome of mediocrity in buffet dining here in the Philippines. There are better, and some cheaper alternatives. With the price, their drinks should be free-flowing - even the wine! Okada's Medley serves way more and costs just a little bit than Circle's.

The staff were great though.

we went to shangri la to celebrate our wedding anniversary and cecilia's birthday.we were welcomed with 2 surprises:a wedding cake in the room and an excellent bottle of wine and a fruit plate.the room was calm,the bed immense extra king Size,the air-con excellent,wifi perfect and fast,the bathtub and shower with a massage head perfect,the service on the swimming pool fast and efficient,food super,.because of another event there was a long line on the elevators area(10 elevators);we had to leave ,the front desk helped us to take the service elevator which allowed us to leave on time

I have stayed at this Shangrila hotel a few times ...

I have stayed at this Shangrila hotel a few times and they have always been great. Unfortunately, it wasn t the same this time. We arranged for a hotel car to pick us up from the airport. We initially cancelled and was told we couldn t. After emails and then calls to the hotel, we were told to just wait for the car at the airport. The car never showed and waited for hours at the airport. We eventually took a taxi to the hotel and got there around 5am. Front desk then told us that they would investigate and let us know what transpired from their end. We were never informed of the so-called investigation. There was no apology or anything else after that.

We were also on the Horizon club which was another bad experience. After seating us, the staff pretty much forgot about us.

My overall stay experience was fantastic, even though there was early mix up regarding car pick up at airport due to agency re-booking my stay and the car transfer was not included I was greeted by much courteous staff when I arrived at the hotel. what stood out for me most was the service provided by Randy - Duty manager on the morning of Friday 31st Jan 2020. I left my IPAD in the hotel room and only realized when I was past immigration at the airport. He was able to find it and quickly deliver it back to me at the airport just before take-off, this was exceptional service and i thank Randy for this.

4 days after our wedding and we're still on a wedding high! words cannot express how grateful we are! Thank you Shangri-La for giving us the wedding of our dream! You've exceeded all our expectations.

Special thanks to Ms. Maricel Young, who made our event super succesful! She was very helpful and diligent since day 1.

We have stayed for my father's 82nd birthday and it was indeed great! From the reservation up until check out. FOM Cha Celdran, Joan Yee of FO, Duty manager Renee and AFOM Nards was very kind in accommodating our requests. The housekeeping staff are always ready to help and extend their superb service to us. Many thanks to Butch, Alexis and other RAs on duty during our stay (Dec 29-30). From the security to the door greeters, bell service and other staff are very pleasant.

Great location, within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, anything you could possibly need.

Amazing service from the moment you drive into the property until the time you leave. Every person you encounter on staff is incredibly polite and helpful.

We stayed in a deluxe king room and it was extremely large and comfortable. The bed was plush, there was a sitting area, a desk, a bar, a vanity, and a good-sized closet. And the bathroom was quite large. My only complaint is that the shower was small for the size of the bathroom, but it was fine.

The best thing about the hotel was the restaurants housed within it! The restaurants are amazing!!! Sage (steak) was phenomenal! Amazing meat, fantastic service, just wonderful attention to detail from top to bottom. The Japanese and Chinese restaurants were excellent as well. What a wonderful surprise!

Ive been in a lot of hotels in The UAE and i can tell that this branch of Shangri-LA in Makati is one of the best in the Philippines..Crew and employess are so warmed and very accomodating..u can never feel that u were just away from home...

My stay was great with excellent service, and my request on my reservations was already taken care of before I even checked in. Staff was professional and fun to work with and answer any of my questions. They should all be commended for their great guests service. Like many of Hotels I've stayed...Shangri-la will always be #1 on my list.
