Excellent hotel, too friendly staff. Great place to stay.

You get what you pay for. Tidy rooms with comfortable beds. Very good selection of breakfast and friendly staff.

Overall the ambience / lobby and local restaurants have a classic stylish look to them.

Nothing negative to say, would recommend and visit again.

Staff were excellent and the hotel was nice.

The main issue I encountered was the fact that the noise from the corridors came into the room (people shutting their doors or talking in the corridor)

It would be nice to make the doors more sound-proof and also make all the doors shut more silently.

Everyone is so lovely and helpful. Felt like royalty. The hotel rooms are old so it smells mouldy but other then that. Excellent

Overall stay at makati shangria la is always good. Just one additional support would help folks like us who work late option to have breakfast served instead of going to circle late breakfast at room directly.

Didnt expect a big cockroach to show up in bathroom. The sight still haunted me despite the upgrade.

Use at work, gym was wide, and equipment was substantial. Personally, the grip of the tower for chinning was good. The breakfast buffet was of great variety, but it was crowded. It is a pity that I could not find the yogurt, maybe the vegetables are a little lonely.

Because of the schedule, when I asked to have breakfast shortly before the opening of the restaurant, I was happy to take me to the seat.

Hotel is great, facilities excellent and service perfect.
I was just disappointed with the fact I could not get any points related to my stay, because it was pre-paid by the company.
That will weight in my choice in the future, as this is the first time I meet such constraints.

I have stayed at several Shang Gri La hotels in Asia and l have loved all the experiences. Beautiful hotels, great customer service and they always smell good! I will be traveling to Australia and look forward to staying at the Shang Gri La there as well.

Customer service they are all accomodating. Food is very delicious.

Reception really did a great job on entertaining our questions. We were pleasantly surprise about how they remembered details of the guests. We hope all hotels can have this type of 5 star service. Absolutely excellent!

They couldn't retrieve info from my members card and promised to sort it out upon checkout but nothing was done.

The experience was excellent... the sports club should maintain better control of the tennis court appointment schedule. I had to cancel my booking in disgust... not atbthe staff but with the customer who apparently couldn't be told that their time was up.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Great for business traveler. The hotel has great service and restaurants. Close to Greenbelt shopping area.

the fruits provided on the welcome table were not fresh on the first day. there also werent ie. the usual toiletries like comb etc readily provided in the bathroom. other than that the stay was relatively alright.

Staff are well-trained and the facility is well-kept even though the hotel might feel a little dated. I think it adds to the overall ambiance.

For the brief time I stayed there, the hotel was very nice and accommodating. the only issue I had was that the TV was not connected and had to be resolved after notifying the hotel staff.

Expected for a 5 star hotel treatment but left with a very poor experience. Arrived at check in time but road was completely closed to the hotel due to a drill. No way of getting in hotel. Why was there no communication. We went to MOA which delayed check in til about 6pm. I had informed about this issue upon check in and was told that management will be informed. I never received a response back. Upon check in, I reserved a twin bed room but got a one bed. Blanca was able to assist and corrected but this should not have happened. Got to call assistance as television required reprogramming due to no signal. Room reservation included 2 breakfast but I twice got billed and had to request for corrections. This is the second time I stay in this hotel and I remember that requesting a taxi takes time. This time is no different. No, it's worse. We had to walk to the street to hail a taxi. Please do something about this! We were offered to take the hotel car but for a fixed fee of 450 pesos. We were only going a short trip which we only paid the taxi about 75 pesos. Big difference. I have the impression that you are peddling your car services. While I could have paid the 450 pesos, I would have felt taking advantage of. I was informed that I received a complementary hot tea. But next day, when I ordered at the lobby, I was informed by waitress that it was only available from 3pm-6pm. Not sure why you would restrict as drinks are being served 24 hour/day. Again, there is a disconnect in communication.

as usual, the service in all areas of the hotel was exceptional. In particular the entire staff in the Horizon Lounge and Jed, Ysa in the Sage Bar

It was fantastic. Working in HR at a resort myself, I know what good service is and I was super impressed with all your staff. I was so pleased with the easy checkin and how helpful anyone was when I asked a question. I will definitely recommend this hotel and be using it for all my business trips.

I have absolutely enjoyed my stay, the comfort of the freshly smelling sheets and the prompt action and excellent service by the staff in answering our additional needs.

I sure would have stayed longer if my schedule permits as I truly enjoyed every bit of my stay in this hotel.

My only disappointment is that my stay was so brief.

Extremely convenient , located by the green belt. Walk to the green belt which has shopping and waiting options. Also, a big Starbucks is located outside this Shang - if your Starbucks in important to you.

Rooms a bit old fashioned, but nice and big.
Service very good. Jacuzzi could have more jets and bubbles. Very nice christmas feeling with trees and gingerbread house. Japanese tepanyaki resturant was good.

It was an amezing experience at Shangri-La makati. I forgot my wallet in the malayesia airlines plane and got to know it upon reaching To Makati. Sr Concierge guy Kevin helped me by calling to malayesia airlines and got me my wallet back. Also got me my room and the request which i had for my fiance s Birthday Surprise. Everything was beyond my expectation. Great experience. Thanks you Kevin and thanks Shangri-La Makati.

My grandsons from North Carolina, USA who are 11 and 17 year old fell in love with the room 530, the pool, and gym. they said they will save their allowance to come back next year.

Awesome hotel, amazing breakfast and nice Pool and relax area. Located perfectly in Makati.

All employees are accommodating from the concierge, reservation desk and the bell boy. But the comfort room is not that tidy anymore and the dresser with mirror is not clean when we enter the room.

Definitely one of the best steaks you could ever taste while in Makati!

It's old and getting run down. But I've stayed here more nights than I care to count. The Shangri-la at BGC is better in almost all respects (the Kerry gym is really something..) but also costs more.

Really a nice place to be, staff are not not obtrusive, not intrusive. Very courteous. Free WiFi for walk-in visitors is manna. Thanks a lot.

Very nice room and breakfast. Queuing for the breakfast in the Circles is very efficient and fast, congrats to the Supervisors and Waiters for the well organized communication and job well done. Staff are very accommodating! Needs to improve the check in procedure to avoid the long line.

One of the best spots at Makati CIty area, has great RIzal Ball room area where parties are celebrated. Strong wifi connection. Relaxing environment.

Looking for an extravagant staycation? Look no further

Shangri-La has always been an epitome of class, comfort and regality. The moment you stepped into the lobby, you'd be greeted by a grandiose chandelier and the spa-like scent is evident in the air. It feels relaxing and welcoming. I love their Christmas decorations. The Christmas tree is decorated with large green and red balls and yellow lights and there are letter blocks that spell Hope and Love which are truly the essence of a Christmas. The not so little drummer boys are very accomodating in taking pictures of guest and posing for some photos.

They also have a wide spread of buffet choices at Circles, from Filipino to Indian. I particularly love the grilled prawns and smoked salmon. Very tasty but without the fishy after taste. I also love the seafood stew which is hearty and has generous servings of prawns, squid, corn and mussels. I wish they include the drinks because the price is already expensive.

If you're looking for a place to have your holiday lunch or dinner with family, friends or colleagues, then you should definitely come here. Worth every peso!

We actually forgot an item (a cap) from check out. We called the housekeeping together with lost and found dept was helpful.
We got the item the next day.
We are impressed that the item was returned.

However,the welcome fruit basket was a disappointment for a 5 start hotel considering this is the eve before NEW YEAR.
We did not feel like it was the holidays.

The rest of the amenities was world class.

Room was ready ahead of time, all my requests were considered. staff were definitely paying attention.

The entrance of the hotel looks like The Shangri-La!
The lighting on the grand piano was so beautiful, so try to find out where the piano is.

If you go early in the morning, you can see beautifully displayed breakfast.
In the picture, it was only bread and sweets, but everything including sushi and Chinese food was very delicious.

Because there is a green belt and a park near the hotel, I think that it is a fun place to take a walk.

Also, because the labrador at the entrance is so cute, please get along well.
