A normal place. Don't order a latte, ask for a gal...
A normal place. Don't order a latte, ask for a gallon. A latte they put in a cup of a solo coffee.

Amazing art deco interior, but way too expensive and full of tourists only.
Nice place to have coffee in the morning but it's not opening on Sunday.
Beautiful space, but with scandalous prices! The offer does not justify it!
A dream of place.
Inaugurated in 1921 and frequented by writers and artists of the time.
The decoration and furniture have been kept, the place is a return to the past.
The coffee is wonderful and the french toast is like no other.
There is a waiting list and prices are high, but it is worth it to know.
Loved it.
The cause of this place is a traditional high class establishment where the visited place may provide one with a class status. In today's words: totally outdated. If you are on a boat cruise like we know from the upper class deck in the "Titanic" movie. I see personel in white uniforms, but without being aware of their role, and especially not being trained in any way to play this role. If they would be playing this role, then it would have been an experience. It seems the owner has forgotten what he wants with this establishment. A lack of any experience and authenticity. It is a place free from the younger generation. Maybe that is the reason why they still have an audience from older people. No offence, people are free to make their choice. It is only an observation of coming by this place for several times.
Unreasonably expensive and not very tasty, a cappuccino cup for 6.50 euros! Not worth the money, I do not recommend to visit
Overpriced, low quality food. My advice would be to come for a coffee, but avoid the food. Take the photos and leave knowing you didn t Pay $6 for a microwaved croissant.
Worth knowing but the quality / price ratio is terrible.
Essential in Porto. Beautiful cafeteria in the center with a commensurate service.
An undiscovered "monument" of the city, however, with prices too high for the quality presented
A 4 coffee is an authentic assault, Majestic never again
At this moment it is coffee for tourist to see, that you never fail the tourists.
Coffee with charm. One of the oldest coffees in Portugal. When you enter the back there is a staircase to go to a small patio. There are always many people mainly tourists. Outside there is a terrace. There the coffee is more expensive as 2 or 3 euros but it is worth it because it is very nice inside. You can eat, have a drink, drink a tea. The decoration is wonderful. Lovely. When you go to Oporto, it is a mandatory stop to go there
It is majestic, from the way it looks, to the food and drinks. Get the hot chocolate, you will not regret it, it will be the best you will ever have. The chocolate cake and cheese cake are also great choices if you are hungry.
Nice place to go for breakfast; the place is beautiful, the food is good, and coffee is average. Mid priced in comparison to the rest of Porto but worth it if you have time to sit and relax. The place is crowded so arrive early if you're going for breakfast.
Classically decorated and very charming place. Worth visiting in the late afternoon for that relaxing tea. We finished the RABANADAS, head car of the house and simply marvelous. The last star was left out because of the cappuccino that could improve a lot.
Beautiful place in Porto, the french toast is very good. But the prices are very high.
Spectacular art-deco coffee in the center of Porto. From the architectural point of view it is incredible, but it has a "but" that can be important: the prices. A mineral water of half a liter is 4.5 euros, a coffee with milk 6 euros, a hamburger 16 euros (although it is good), a salad Caesar 18 euros. It is true that you are paying to be in that emblematic place, but it can be a bit excessive. I would give 4.5 stars.
Not bad but it's not so bad. It has more fame than it really is. The prices are exorbitant but it is supposed to have a quality that deserves it. In my opinion it doesn't stop so much.
Majestic place, as the name implies. Prices are high which indicates that almost 100 years later this place continues to serve a very specific and select audience. Anyway, it is worth stopping by to try the delicious french toast.
Cool place but crazy over-priced. 19E for a Caesar salad.
Good, the dishes are good and filling and the service is excellent.
Nice place, not so pretty. I was expecting more.
Definitely high prices
Nice fancy cafe. A bit expensive as you might imagine.
We stayed in this place for the name and the famousness of the bar. The staff very kind but in my personal opinion I do not accept and I share the idea of paying for two croissants and two coffees that have nothing to do with the name about 20 euros and 'unheard .. the bar is beautiful with a particular style and the croissant was good, but I would not go back
The name says it all, immaculate from service to departure
Very beautiful and historic place. The price of coffee is exaggerated.
Its a beautiful place with smart design, staff know what they are doing, the Rabanada was good quality,
But Im not satisfied for the value of the coffee We paid 5 for a small cofee, these guys have put the design like a trap for charging you 5 times of the common price, if you walk 5 min there many places which the same quality 1/5th of this price.
For a photo it's fine. If you really want to enjoy coffee and some cupcake ... better go somewhere else. Coffee is 5 euros and a cake is 7.
A real factory here, you are the real dish. The staff is unpleasant. It's really expensive, you'll pay half anywhere else with good cuisine and nice staff. RUN
Lovely cakes and drinks, service was lacking a little bit.
Badly received. Waiting 10 minutes without being rid of the table we had just sat down. Very expensive coffee. I will not stay there again.
Its basically an overpriced tourist trip. The place does look nice and the service is good, but if you want a real Porto experience, this is not it.
Classical place. In the city of Porto do not miss it. Well worth the visit.
The Majestic is beautiful, it has kept old majestic traditions and the decor is wonderful.
Two coffees were 12 Euro, and not very good however.
Very nice decor 1900, we had a breakfast very average quality and very expensive $$$$$$ go see without consuming
Worth a visit when in Porto for the decor, personally I don't rate the food or cocktails, the steak sandwich being quite poor, served with undercooked chips yet very pricy, 1 sandwich and 2 cocktails (between 2 people) was the most expensive 'meal' we had out in our whole time in this lovely city
Very Expensive cafe ! even though it is a very nice old cafe
Just had an espresso and a creme brulee (yum). Felt more lika a restaurant than a cafe though.
Coffee tastes Majestic style French toast was pretty good too. When you feel it, it is just fine if you press it with coffee.
The coffee tastes good, it's noisy, but it's worth a visit.
Very luxurious coffee shop, above average products and service. A little expensive but the place is worth it, a trip into elegance
Nice place to see and have a coffee and its delicious cream cake
Pleasant atmosphere. It is a beautiful museum. Very good service.
It s 10h47 in the morning , we have been standing in front of the cafe and the staf with no smile and no hello waved at us for the second time to come back in 10 minutes... in this covid situation you would think they would be happy to open on time and have costumers
The site is spectacular, but the prices are a real armed robbery. Coffee with milk 6, continental breakfast 30! To put just a few examples.
Very old friendly staff all good but very expensive only for tourism
It's good to go back to Porto and see that this house is always the same. A gem.
Historic, charming place. Definitely not cheap. A coffee and a cold tea 10
The architecture is great, very nice early 20th century building. Besides that not very good. Food was just ok at best. Fried eggs were cold, coffee was average at best and expensive at that (5 for a galao!!!)The quality vs cost was terrible. Overpriced, overhyped. There are tons better places for a good coffee and breakfast in Porto. For 2 people and mediocre food and mediocre service it was 40. Typical tourist rip-off. Will never go back.
The place is the service are very good, the only however is the aspect of the mirrors that make up the decor: very rusty! For what you charge could be changed right?
Tasty desserts, nice service and elegant surroundings. What a decent place.
Very good place to relax and have a little something to drink, the service is fast and the setting is quite nice, it's not cheap but the quality is there!
Luxurious place to have a coffee. Very good service and quality, but like everything good you pay. 4.50 a coffee
Just a quick visit because the space is much sought after by tourists, and there is speculation and opportunism on the part of space management,
Terrible place The coffee is watered down, and for the price of 4. The decoration is very pretty, the only thing you have.
Chic, needs to improve the receptivity of some waiters, very unprepared to deal with tourist public.
Very good the french toast, the best I have ever eaten without a doubt. But today, 8/4/2019, it costs 6 and a coffee was 5 , at least the cup was great. Very cozy and beautiful environment. There was a person playing the piano, very nice. They did not charge for the service nor cover art. I would go again just to eat another french toast.
Porto Highlight. Prices are more expensive that in others caffes but that's because of it's excellent service.
Fantastic atmosphere, classic. Supreme french toast ... very good! High price. 1 cafe of 3eur serves as a reference.
A beautiful, ancient and emblematic site that introduces you to the magical atmosphere of Porto. Here we spent one of the best moments of our trip. The only problem is the prices, somewhat high. We had a coffee for 5 but the breakfast I saw cost 30. We also had the luck to arrive and not find a queue at the door. I would recommend doing what we do, order something cheap to be able to enter and enjoy the Majestic experience and the atmosphere and magic of the place.
Prices are quite expensive, but it's a lovely place for a coffee. We had a good one time experience
It is very expensive for a cafe. The interior is very antique. Especially the stained mirror. Cappuccino is still a bit of a life cappuccino. I recommend it. It was good that I was close to eating frangipani.
Typical place of Porto. It's expensive, but it deserves a tribute snack. The spectacular turtles
The interior design of this cafe is classical and charming..But it is doubtful to visit this cafe paying much higher price..The atmosphere, I think, occupies the two-thirds of the coffee price. It is up to you to pay for enjoying the atmosphere...
Poshest cup of tea and sandwich ever! A one off experience, worth doing just for the prestige
