Crowded but still just a great relaxed feel! Great...

Crowded but still just a great relaxed feel! Great experience!
Don't be expect to see Chip or Johanna. Do expect to pay top dollar on imported home decor and t-shirts.
If you are a fan of the show, stop by, but recognize the tourist trap for what it is.
We loved everything about the Magnolia compound! The detail is incredible...from the fun game lawn, to the awnings over the picnic tables, to the water stations....so fun to see what Chip and Joanna Gaines have created. We loved it and hope to visit again one day!!!
What a fun experience! Great little food carts, merchandise and a nice grassy area for kids. Very busy, but it's expected.
Loved it!! Went on a Monday morning.. it was busy but nothing crazy... yes everything is pricey but their is plenty to see and do to just enjoy the scenery if you don t have much money!! Def plenty of places to take beautiful pictures with family and or friend!! Friendly staff everywhere... Will def take a road trip out there again...
Darn! It was Sunday and they were closed. I was SO disappointed. I was driving from MI to San Antonio..it's smaller than it appears on TV so I parked and window shopped. Way to go Chip and Joanna! It's really nice to see someone interested in "downtown" revival! You two have made Waco a destination! Glad I got to see it in real life!
Very interesting very spendy but excellent food trucks
Fun place but not very large and always super busy!
Too touristy..bakery line was ridiculous. Gift shop is over priced. But the outside is done nicely and the food trucks were a nice touch
It's expensive but worth the experience. My wife thoroughly enjoyed herself.
Can say we went, overpriced, pottery barnish merchandise didn't see what all the hoopla is about, cupcakes i here were good!
Things are expensive in the shop but if you want to just hang out and people watch, let your kids play it's great. The food truck food court is fantastic.
Disappointing! There were so many people you could not see the merchandise, prices were too high!
Excellent, extraordinary place. I will visit him again in the future.
Cool little place, very pricey items and very packed. This is not a day trip place to visit, we stopped on our way to Austin from Dallas for an hour or two and that was sufficient for us to check everything out. Other than the bakery which had a line wrapped around the building to get in.
Great place if you are a fan of the show or are into decorations (my wife is). Enjoyed every minute plus their cupcake store.
It did not feel like I expected, a warm, comfortable experience. It started off badly with the Church parking lot. $10 to park, REALLY! For 1 hour (or 2 max) of shopping! The church attendants were laughing about the 2" thick wad of cash they had. I was there on a weekday. Free parking is very limited in the area if you can find it at all. The sweet Magnolia Market that I imagined was very commercial, mass produced and expensive. The grounds are extremely flat and trampled on because of the crowds. Bummer.
To add to that, the t-shirt that I bought had a seem that was not sewn properly. The shirt was not made in the USA. The price was expensive but I would have paid a few dollars more to have a shirt made here in the USA. However, the response was great, they are sending me a new shirt. I gave them one extra point for that.
Just as beautiful as I had imagined. Very busy! Almost a little too hard to shop. Not recommended if you don't do crowds well.
Get there early before the tour buses show up and drop off lots of people.
We were in Dallas so we decided to drive to Waco to visit Magnolia Market. The store is fairly large. We went on a Friday morning. Although there were a lot of people, it was not overly crowded.
The items in the store are either decorating things or shirts and hats. Prices are a little high but it looked like everyone was buying things anyway.
Was a fun time.
Was great relaxing place to hang out. The bakery is awesome. The food trailors are great. Play chritian radio. Have play areas for kids
We had a great time. Got a lot of nice things
Thank you
I ABSOLUTELY love Chip & JoJo. Their show is great. I would love to meet them.
Was disappointed. Surprised how expensive everything was.
Good fun for anyone looking to get out. Just hope to go on a day that isn't packed like the day we went. It's a very innovative marketplace, but the crowds will definitely prolong your trip by 20 minutes.
Very nice place to visit! Pet friendly is awesome and all the staff is pet friendly with treats and awesome. Prices are as you would expect a tourist area! Will visit again!
Not really much to see, but some place to do some shopping if you love doing that.
What an experience...large green space to play in with bean bags, footballs provided..marketed well, inside flows nicely, bakery small but efficient. You will spend $3 for a cupcake, but it's soooo worth it!!
Nice but disappointed with all the "made in China" items. You can get those at Hobby Lobby!
Love the Gainses, but if you don't like crowds... stay home.
Cute for pictures, but the home stuff to buy here is too expensive. Plus, the line for the bakery is outside and MISERABLE to wait it.
Other than being really really crowded. It was a nice visit.
Loved it.
My husband passed away 5 weeks ago, I miss him so much. I was walking around crying and talking to him. He always wanted to come here but he was too I'll we couldn't make the trip
The motivational quotes spoke volumes to me. I know he was with me in spirit.
Super cute place! But man was it overwhelming with sooo many people.
Great place to spend a half day with the family. Can get crowded
From a guys perspective. Is it worth going to once, yes but only once!Twice not for the store, maybe the food trucks in the back. Great atmosphere a lot of hype but Waco is awesome use the trolley it is free and you can shop and get off wherever you want!
I cant believe how packed this place gets and how many people flow through this.
a destination for Waco for sure. Buses waiting to get in. The power of TV and personality. Fun place.
I'm a local & it was my 1st time. It's a nice place to go with family and friends. Better than I imagined.
I have been watching the show for years and decided to stop in. What an experience, I really enjoyed it.
Beautiful place, much to see, the bakery delicious, a little expensive but it's worth it, I recommend this place!
Genuine, honest, refreshing, and absolutely talented couple.
I thought magnolia was a very well put together place, and the bakery was excellent. However I felt that everything in the store is overpriced for the quality of products they provide. I do respect what the gaines family has created, and what they are turning Waco into.
Fun place to visit if you're into the TV show. Great place to hang out with the family. Dog friendly. Great atmosphere. Service in the shops was great. VERY expensive items for sale. Clean and well maintained.
Beautiful store. Lots of pretty things. Things can get alittle pricey. You will enjoy just wandering around.
Drove from Fort Worth to visit and can't wait to visit again. Make sure to get there early and probably best to do a weekday. Love all that Magnolia has to offer, bakery, store, outside atmosphere and food trucks. Also in front of the store is a sign for a free trolley. Every 15 mins the trolley comes by to pick up passengers to give a tour of downtown. Would highly suggest this as a great way to see all that Waco has to offer! Definitely will be back soon!
Loved it! I do not understand how anyone could mark anything less than a perfect 5 stars. Beautiful, clean and the employees are genuinely friendly and happy! Amazing food. Fun and family friendly.
Love it, but in reality it is just a plce to buy overpriced stuff. Kids had a blast on the swings and the food trucks are great.
Super cool place. Yes it expensive, but it is based on a popular t.v show. The bakery has great desserts. A fun area in downtown Waco. Be sure to use the trolley when you go. The parking next door to the church is $10 what a rip off. My opinion. It is a nice adventure to get away.
Amazing and fun, nice food selection. Nice to see pleasant setup and actually be there, pictures do not do it justice, the garden was beautiful. Store was fun. Park was clean and nice. Food trucks yummy, just don't expect true gourmet and you'll be satisfied.
Fun for everyone. Great outdoor space for kids and adults to run around and play. Great food truck. Options. Somewhat pricey. Worth the visit. A must see if a fan of the show Fixer Upper.
My whole family had a great time here! The store was busy but not too bad.
Love the show. If you are expecting a quiet country store like me then stay away. We went in the middle of the week and the place was a zoo. Massive crowds with music blasting everywhere. Lines for everything, even the bathroom. Really wish I never went because I'll never look at the show the same way again. They must be a boon for the town and all the food trucks in the back. I was happy to leave and went down the road to another shop which was very nice and what I expected, local and quiet.
Big fans of Fixer-Upper and just had to take the short drive down to Waco to visit where it all started. Great ends and outs. Ended up buying some housewarming gifts for some friends at great prices!
Not for me, but the wife enjoyed it. The store was packed, the line to the bakery long, but the wife enjoyed it. Did I say the wife enjoyed it? 'Cause the wife enjoyed it...
What a nice addition to Waco. Its nice to see people who become famous give back to their community by taking risks.
Loved visiting here! There is so much to do and see! You could spend hours at Magnolia Market easily. Be sure to visit everything! The staff is so welcoming and nice.
This is where middle class whites have there money spending, unnecessary House decoration dreams come true.
Magnolia Enterprises was much bigger than expected. It was amazing! We started at the restaurant and then proceeded to the Silo. Food & staff were well organized and awesome, but be prepared to stand in line.
Accidentally deleted my old review while trying to edit/update. But I still love this place so much. It's a great place to bring your kiddos to play and have a relaxing picnic outside on their green lawn. Love the service, quality of products and best customer care. The place has everything for everyone. Shopping, eating, relaxing, touring, or celebrating. Obviously it is very busy during spring break and summer but it is so worth the effort and experience. They have a bakery that serves yummy cupcakes and coffee or you can simply check out local vendors/food trucks that they usually have from around texas. The are bathrooms located on the back outside the building and one bathroom inside the bakery. There is plenty of parking along the street where parking is permitted. Also, Magnolia has a free parking lot that is connected to the Silos grounds and the entrance is on 8th street. Easy to see and access from the streets of downtown waco. I recommend this place.
So much fun, such great staff. Made for a great afternoon.
Fun for the whole family, lawn, kids' games and swings outside! Beautiful home goods, delicious bakery items and ethnic food trucks. Loved it!
I wanted to love this place more. Went today! Store was nice, seriously overpriced. Staff was awesome. Waited for a bus to go to Magnolia Table for 15 Min. 25 minutes to get there. 1 1/2 wait at the restaurant. It would have been delightful to know this ahead if time. We kindly told the next bus load of people should they were aware. Just as we did, they got back on the bus. Once you board the trolley you have ZERO choice. That's not cool. I was with my elderly mother who needed to eat within the 3 hours it would have been. Other than that, it was gorgeous.
In town for a nanno second but had to visit the shop and bakery. Wish we'd had more Time!!
Absolutely such fun. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Bakery cupcakes were out of this world! Will definitely go back!!
