Beautiful creatures! Relaxing atmosphere just to relax and take in the scenery.

Nice place but not very big.Staffs are super friendly. For us it took almost an hour.They charge $14 per person which is ok.If you are at deerfield and nature lover visit this place.

Amazing butterflies including the clearwing! Very friendly staff. Amazing experience with over 4,000 butterflies plus other interesting animals. Highly recommended especially if you are into butterflies like my son is! I want here on a road trip from a business trip to Boston and it was well worth the 2-hour Drive.

This place rocks. Went there with my parents as a child, and I now bring my own two kids there. They love it and it is stunning Everytime. We usually visit Yankee candle in the same trip

It's worth it , you should go. Thousands of butterflies and a pretty good-sized Greenhouse type thing. Moderate sized insect exhibit. The greenhouse can get pretty hot it is not air-conditioned

This place is a great place to bring kids. There are butterflies from all over here and they are very active, flying all around the visitors. The beautiful, tropical greenhouse where they are kept is beautiful in its own right. They also have terrariums here with various kinds of other insects and some reptiles and amphibians. The place also has a small cafe and a room with tables where children can color pictures of butterflies.
Magic wings is on route 5 just north of the Yankee Candle complex.

I've been there 3 times and was fascinated each time. I enjoy taking pictures of the beautiful butterflies and other critters, too. It's so cool when the butterflies decide to hang out on me. It takes a few minutes to adjust to them flying around my face, but then it's all good

Visited on June 19, 2018. Amazing place! Knowledgeable staff! My daughter and I purchased caterpillars and they all created a chrysalis and emerged a few weeks later.

Quite nice, a little pricey, especially for such a small place, but what can you expect? It was a great surprise from my boyfriend and they have many exhibits along with two indoor butterfly gardens, with tons of butterflies and even some cute birds. Staff is friendly, food is okay. Totally recommend it.

My daughter loves to go see the butterflies and the turtles. It's a great place to just sit and relax.

This place is amazing. I just wish it was closer since I have to drive an hour to visit. The main area itself is a little small, but there are butterflies everywhere you look. We had a great time and the staff were all very nice. I'm sure we will visit there again.

A little expensive but a nice place to bring the kids when the weather is cold. A bit restrictive right now due to covid. When it is opened up more it is nice to take your time and relax. Be sure to wear bright colors.

A wonderful Magical Place. Small but packed full of creatures to delight young and old. Their gift shop is a bit pricey but their restaurant serves wonderful food and ice cream too.

I love this place! Dress light because the butterflies are kept in a very warm area. Keel an eye out for the fairy houses in the flower beds <3

Magical! New additions since the last time we visited, Australian finches, a hummingbird. Really delightful quails and their babies.

I am really stunned by todays events. I have been to this place many times and I have held 2 partys here.
I would like to start off with saying this place really is amazing! Well kept and friendly workers. If you are coming for the day I highly recommend this place. Its great for familys.

However. I have had 2 partys here and each time there were issues.
The first party was last year in the end of april for my youngest daughter who turned 1. We had appoved food over the phone and it was not served at the party which I looked passed and we all had a good time, but she did point out I was wrong in front of all my party guests.
Todays party costs us $475. Today my daughter turned 10 and we wanted the best. I told her I did not think 3 pizzas were enough for 33 people and it wasnt. I had to ask for an additional pizza and they were not very nice about it. They also did not fill pitchers often. But the absolute worst of the day was we were under the impression wewere aloud to stay for the remainder of the day as we did at the last party. Instead of tracking me down Allison ( I think her name was) went after my daughter The Birthday Girl, and told her "wheres your mother you need to get out now" it was obviously rude enough that a family member told her to back off and not talk to her that way. Look if we were wrong about the time we were aloud to be in there why go to the birthday girl why not go to us, we were not that far away. Then she proceeded to fight with members of our family. She also told me that last time I had a party we were not aloud to stay and I have 20 people that told her otherwise. I never believed the other reviews about this woman that were bad, but I do now.
All in all, I was embarrassed twice infront of my family and friends and I no longer recommend this place for parties. I do find it is great for day visits and their food is good and non party staff are friendly.

Beautifully created environment where you can interact with butterflies from all around the world. Also has reptiles, fish, birds, poison dart frogs, and some pretty neat insects. Worth the admission price!

I love it here so much! Great place to relax and take photos. Super enjoyable and we stayed there for hours. Also A+ friendly staff :)

This is one of my favorite places on Earth. In the middle of winter when everything is dead and depressing you can go to Magic Wings for a few hours and just enjoy the heat, the color and relax. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Every time I go I learn something else about butterflies. I also ordered butterflies for my wedding ceremony and was not disappointed. I got a dozen stunning monarchs who all made a beautiful showing at the end of our ceremony. And when I went to pick up the butterflies, every staff member I encountered wished us well and congratulated us. It's a little out of the way, but if you plan your day, there's plenty to do. Oh and don't forget to look out for the little birds. So darn cute!!!

This place is literally the bee's knees; its so fabulous, awesome and therapeutic. One of the greatest butterfly conservatories I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. With over 4,000 butterflies and more hatching on the daily, I highly recommend a visit. This place so great, they really oughta be offering monthly and annual membership. Great spot to go and sit and watch nature for the day. A beautifully diverse assortment of butterflies and reptiles are displayed. Handicap accessible, there's even a restuarant... the food is decent! Get on down and make a day of it

Lovely with a free library pass. Otherwise very expensive for the size of the space.

Nice place as long as your child will listen to you about not touching butterflies. Room is warm year round. Very pretty place. I recommend liking for coupons do you don't have to pay full price.

Beautiful selection of butterflies, other creatures featured in tanks, wonderful assortment of plants. Quiet music, benches to sit on. Outside gardens available for viewing also.

Owner is something else (George Miller Jr.). We had a 2 from our party show up late, 15 minutes before closing. Those two were from Georgia and never been to this establishment before. We kindly asked if those 2 could get a pass for the next day as they had arrived later than anticipated and did not get to view the exhibit as intended, as it was getting too dark to correctly view the butterflies. Quoting the owner, "After 4:30pm no one is supposed to be admitted" and that due to his inability to keep a correct count of how many tickets were sold for that day, he could not honor or do anything for our late guests. If that were the case that they weren't supposed to be admitted, why then was our money gladly accepted KNOWING full well that they would be there after 4:30 pm?! What kind of customer service is that?! But instead of a great review and satisfied guests, you will get this. Oh, and it looks as though they not only charged the wrong rate for admission that is advertised on their website, but they also charged for a NEWBORN at the children rate...
On another note, the employees that I met were more than helpful and kind. The butterflies were nice to look at. We attended on the 8th of Jan 2017.

Always a great time child or adult. They have a strict but good and efficient covid procedure in place. I felt safe and comfortable. 80 at a time. Get there 15-20 mins before to ensure entry. Temp scan at the door.

What a great place, couldn't believe all the different varieties of butterflies. Had a great day. Snack bar had a wonderful chili too.

This place is wonderful. It's relaxing. There are beautiful plants and trees. A gazebo. And, of course, hundreds upon hundreds of butterflies fluttering around. There are benches, I would definitely suggest just sitting, taking in your surroundings, and be in the moment. A true gem.

It's a beautiful place and the experience you'll have here is relaxing and therapeutic. The building needs some updating though. It's looking pretty worn out which takes away from your experience here. If the building itself looked nicer, I would have given it five stars.

An amazing trip. My husband,mom, sister, and my son all went and had a blast. There is a cafe which is responsibly priced and a gift shop where you get your tickets. There is a room before the butterflies which has geckos and snakes. Then you go into a room with mirrors which will let you see if you have butterflies on you. Then you enter the room which is pretty big, the butterflies are everywhere and lots of food for them. Be careful because there are some birds but also some butterflies fly close to the ground.

Wear bright colors and fragrant shampoo and you'll have a blast in this year round center.

Great place to sit and relax as well

So many butterflies! This visit was spectacular. The observatory area had a massive diversity of butterflies. I felt very relaxed walking around with so many butterflies flying around me. There are also many types of lizards, bugs, and frogs also on exhibit. The staff are extremely nice and available to answer questions. At my visit, they even brought the lizards out to socialize and view up close. While you're not allowed to touch the butterflies, I captured several shots of a fraction of the species they have within the area. Currently with covid, they have specific viewing times, so make sure to plan your visit ahead of time. Great location for dates or visits with friends/family.

Took my 1 year old boy there is plast weekend and he loved it. Very nice place. Staff was very friendly.

There were lots and lots of butterflies flying about in the observatory, and many varieties. We even bought a chrysalis to take home and hatch.
