Great place to go when you need a nearby tropical-feeling getaway for a couple hours. Combine with a stop at Yankee Candle.

The experience was lovely . One of the nicest things is that warm, 'green' smell in the middle of winter. I liked the colorful and interesting bugs and frogs in the first room. The whole walk through feels like an oasis.
There were a few of those silly arrows on the floor, but other than that no over-the-top covid paranoia.
To my surprise they had fresh, warm cider donuts for sale in the gift shop which turned out to be better than any cider donut I've had in the area! :)

It's magic! Butterflies all around you, sometimes landing on you. Tropical plants, small animals & insects. Even adorable little grouse wandering about.

The most beautiful place in the world. The perfect place for butterfly lovers. I could have just sat there all day welcoming the butterfly's to land on me, while listening to the beautiful music that is playing. The gift shop is an amazing place to shop at as well.

Quite the place, and certainly magical to be surrounded by butterflies from around the world in the middle of a cold New England winter. A great place to bring the kids, or tourists from out of town. Something unique.

Really nice, wear bright colours and the butterfly will land on you, but dont touch them this will kill them, wait for staff to come and take them off.

Butterflies started landing on me the minute I walked in the door. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. Food was very good. Got there at 11am, the next thing I realized it was time to leave.

This place is sooo much bigger than Butterfly Place. Its so beautiful in there. We even saw a family of little quail running around on the floors. There's also a diner connected right next door with great food. We purchased a butterfly chrysalis to take home and hatch.

Beautiful butterfly garden with lots of butterflies flying freely in a beautiful set up. Have been a couple of times there and my little one just loved it.
Friendly staff and facility.

Tickets for adults are $16. You get a stamp for all day access. Wonderful amphibian and insect display before the butterfly hot-house. All the staff are courteous and helpful and pretty much everything is as clean as can be expected. The worst part about this place is a distinct lack of space and it can be VERY high traffic at times. Definitely worth while planting a visit accordingly. It is pretty hot inside so be sure to dress lightly even in winter, but there is a coat check! A recommended destination for anyone in the area.

My daughter my grandson and I attended. It was a magical yoga moment. my grandson is for he was frustrated because he wanted to touch the butterflies and they wouldn't land on him. Meanwhile he saw a guy in the back covered in black and white butterflies just sitting on the bench I don't know how he did it. They've got green blue butterflies there can you imagine. They've got lots of other insects also it was just a beautiful experience. They have a guava tree in there that has actual guavas on it. I bought five plants before I left beautiful plants for $6 you can't beat that. I will be taking my grandson back again in the next few weeks.

This place is truly magical! The staff are super sweet and super informative, the experience is perfect, fun for anyone big or small young or adult! There s a nice gift shop full of cute things and gifts for yourself or others. They have nice plants for sale and so much to look at and learn around every nook and cranny of this place! Go already... seriously what are you waiting for!?

My 3 kids are toddlers and teenagers and they all loved it. They have a mini cafe there and they allow all day entrance with the stamp. The butterflies land on you.

The owner is a horrible person I have him on video screaming at my child. Will never go here again!!! Edited to add. You definitely did not say come in please. You banged on the glass and yelled "lets go!" There was no other interaction because my child was crying at that point and we decided to leave. Will never return thank you very much!!

Peaceful and relaxing are the two words I would use to describe this place. When you walk in, you are greeted with a nice open space full of plants, places to sit and a gift shop. You go to the right and you can go to a cafe with a selection of things to eat. Did not eat there so I cannot comment on it. Once you enter into the garden area itself you are in a room with quite a few different displays that include lizards, colorful dart frogs, and different species of bugs from around the world. After spending some time in this room, you can go into the butterfly area. Once you enter, you are surrounded by butterflies flying all around you in lush greenhouse filled with plants from all over the globe. While you walk along you find a koi pond or two, places to sit and watch the butterflies, and a few resident birds. This is a great place to take the kids, or go alone for a bit of peace and serenity.

The place was magical. You can even buy you own real cocoons. We stayed at the red roof it was nice and right down the street from the museum and yankee candle.

It was so lovely! The butterflies landed on us and stayed long enough to take some sweet pictures!

This is the most spiritual place to visit as long as you like. Many benches to sit on, water features, BUTTERFLIES everywhere . Great get away for handicapped humans.

Absolutely love it here! We come back regularly and many times there is something we've never seen before. My favorite thing to do is just sit on the benches and watch as all the butterflies fly around! Being calm and quiet is the key here, maybe you'll get lucky and one will land on you.
