MMM is the best hospital for any heart related issues. Doctors are experienced, skilled, dedicated & caring & they gave so much confidence to the patient. Most of the nurses are well behaved & skilled & starting from security staffs, counter staffs, housekeeping staffs & ward boys all are very cooperative. Last week my daughter had surgery over here....they are not at all businessminded...reasonable cost....we are very much greatful to Dr.K.Sivakumar & Dr. Roy Varghese. Thanks to MMM

My wife delivered both my babies here and the care provided here for both parent and baby is incomparable. Dr. Bhavani Srinivasan has years of experience and it shows. If all you care about is safe delivery of your baby, and not fancy names that come with a hefty price tag, this is the place to go.

Behavior of ground staff is poor like insurance, billing section including Nurses in the general word , I gave my suggestion in complaint box next day they called me and cleared the insurance before that 3 days i am trying to clear the insurance no one take the responsibility .
I am writing on my views what happend to my father, He was admitted for heart Block and Doctor did Angiography Stent
it was successful but after post treatment given by them is not satisfactory he died with in 1 week with Lungs Infection. The reason is Docters and Nurses no one advised to me how to take care of him. He suffered with severs lung infection , why and how it was affected no one knows the reason . I come to know that he drank lot of hot water after angio but it should be avoided only 750ml is allowed per day but no one told me and even doctors and nurses are allowed this.Beacuse of that reason he got lung infection.
Another issue is general word nurses for me its like a fish market all the Trainee Nurses are squealing always. I dont know why top management is not taking care this. I already complaint to doctors but i dont see any changes.
Doctors are Suma Victor,Saravana Murugan, subrajja are responsible for not taking proper care after Angio.
They know what is the medication for post treatment but no one told during the time of discharge.
May be my father will be alive if they given the post treatment properly.

In my opinion this hospital is VERY good. In my lifetime I cannot forget this hospital.

Most experienced Surgeons for cardiac related issues. They have ability to operate most critical cases.

On 14/5/2017 around 5:30pm I took my friend for an emergency to EMERGENCY department in mmm hospital (he took poison) but the doctors refused to take patient in. That doctor told that '' see brother this is an cardiac hospital so we wont take this in '' I asked them to give atleast stomach wash and we'l go to sum other hospital. But then he refused. And I took him to cherian hospital (no.1 cardiac hospital in tamilnadu) there they gave gave stomach wash and they refered us to other hospital after 2 hrs of observation.

Conclution is what ever speciality it may be a doctor should have to give an emergency medical service. For that only they have posted in ER. Not to make the patient to rome hear and ther.

Now my friend is good today we are going to discharge him.

Doctors and staff are good performence.. but house keeping worst... even duty doctor are not staying at night in the hospital.
Plz go through to keep each ward 1 doctor at night time

My mother open heart surgery is done here. The hospital management, doctors and nurse are well responding. One of the top most hospital for heart operations

Slowest services on earth. Good doctors, but the rest of the staff work at 0.25 of normal speeds.

The Madras Medical Mission Hospital is very famous in this area in chennai. They provide very good customer service and customer satisfaction. This medical campus is very big and lot of patients are as OP and also inpatients. All Medical practitioner are here in this mission hospital. They have very spacious car parking as well as two wheeler parking. It is easily visible from a high traffic area.

At the pharmacy people buy medicine for a month and that makes a huge crowd at the counter...

Wish their pharmacy counter have more pharmacist to cater the requirements of the patients smoothly.

Although the cardiac doctors are exceptional, the hospital lacks basic amenities.
1. The power goes off too often. And they don't have a backup inverter. Which means the whole hospital is in absolute darkness for a minute or two until their generator kicks in - imagine you're a sick person in the restroom, what happens then?
2. Only two of the three extremely slow elevators are operating at any time of the day, and there is a wait time of a minimum of an excruciating 10 minutes till you actually get on one. At night (after 7 PM) there is only one functioning elevator.
3. The Pharmacy is unbelievably understaffed and understocked. They didn't even have Band-Aids or Wet Wipes when I asked for them (after waiting for 20 minutes).

12.04.2018 Doctor service was good. But they have one separate room for Govt.Insurance scheme. Dont believe that. all the patients will admit into hospital only for emergency. But they will tell that TN Govt medical insurance was not claimed immediately. They said it will take time like one month. we gave all documents and now 3months got over im repeatedly asking them but the 2 ladies telling " we didnt got date from Management". DONT BELIEVE GOVT SCHEME IN MMM HOSPITAL. 2 ladies playing worst role in others life. They speak casually, that time i feel like to beat them. But wat to do they are ladies and working for money. but hospital doctors & services are good no any issues. Time management is required. all op patients have to wait for a long.

We came here only for Dr.Shiva Kumar apart from his treatment everything is worst. We had a horrible experience while staying in General ward.. Nurses were busy in writing script work instead of visiting patients at regular intervals..May be they will take special care if we go for a different packages like for individual room we have to pay 1lakh etc..I don't know what will be the difference..This Hospital will never be in a top place until they change their attitudes..God bless the patients..

Great doctors with competent expertise. But the infrastructure and facilities are in shambles. No proper toilets, no car parking , no lifts and the air conditioning is poor or non existent. The cost of procedures is equal to or higher than other private hospitals in this category. Sympathies with the patients who pay the money and dont get decent facilities. This is like a private hospital fees wise but worse than govt. Hospital in facilities.

Excellent doctors and nursing staff atleast for the renal unit. I can't comment on other. Rooms not so good , deluxe room pathetic, superdelux is little OK.
But doctors and nursing matter the most rest all can be condoned.

I Don't have experience of getting treatment there, but i have the experience of appearing in MRCP clinical exam there, this place is very well organised. Also the hospital staffs were great.

I am saddened by the loss of my wife and now my children and my family. This hospital is ugly to the medical department. You have to break the lock to make money.

MEDICAL SERVICES initially begun for Heart Specialisation then turned in to Multispeciality and rendering professional and systematic service to pateients in need. Apart from Hospital, Medical Courses, Nursing Courses and other allied medical courses are also run MMM to enhance its service to society.

Too much waiting and long procedures to visit a Doctor.. such a big hospital but lack of procedures and flow of patient management system. It's like a bazar system

after saying heart attack saying that no bed available taken money for admission and said no room where is humatarian ground what happen to the doctors God save us I don't belive, they did there job perfect after ANGIOGRAM every thing is normal, last case refer to gastroenterology and they said GERD KIND OF GASTRIC RELATED SO I THINK ALL THIS DRAMA LIKE TROP I AND ANGIOGRAM ARE ALL PLAN. So don't prefer this hospital it's a mistake to go to this hospital.so before going to this hospital take opinion from other.young guy they said heart attack. So think before go to this hospital

Good doctors well experienced in cardiac problems. Provisions ( no safe drinking water ) are just satisfied.

This is a very good hospital with experienced Doctors

No complaints about the doctors & staff nurses. They are exceptionally experienced, talented & patient friendly. They take good care. No doubts. BUT THE HOSPITAL AMENITIES LIKE LIFTS, TOILETS, MANAGEMENT STAFF, SECURITY PERSONNEL ETC NEEDS TO BE MONITORED AND IMPROVED. Especially the Pharmacy & Billing s***ks. No courtesy, no friendly approach particularly if you are settling bills by insurance, god can only save you. So robotic they are. Pharmacy doesn't have most of the medicines. When you dial the complaint number it is not in use. Billing is just pathetic. I have admitted my dad for angio & my wife for delivery. Wonderful experience with regard to the treatment but billing is a nightmare. Its been more than 01 month since i have discharged my wife but yet to get refund. When i spoke to billing the answer is so unprofessional & irrelevant. IT MAKES ME TO FEEL LIKE A GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL SOMETIMES !!!

Do not want to generalise the hospital based on my experience. However i had a very bad experience here during my first visit itself.
Tried for an appointment with the Head of Nephrology here. First response from the appointment desk itself was that why dont you see the Junior. With great difficulty, got an appointment with the senior Dr. on 20 th June 18 and i reported at 10 AM. A junior doctor took the details of my condition and prescribed a series of tests, which i did promptly and the results were received by 1 pm. From 1 PM onward i was waiting to see the doctor even with out having lunch. Noticed that many patients who reported after 1 Pm are getting preference.
Front desk desk was not much bothered as to who comes first, appointments already confirmed and all. Apparently friends, relatives of doctors/hospital staff and those who are influential are getting preference . After waiting upto 5.50 PM and fed up watching late comers going first, I left the hospital though the consultation fee of Rs.750/- was promptly collected from me in the morning itself . I choose not to claim refund thereby wasting another full day.
By going to this hospital i have wasted an entire day and five thousand rupees. Felt that first timers are always getting similar treatment unless they are influencial enough.
Hospital management should think that all the regular patients here were once first timers and there is no shortage of specialty hospitals in Chennai.
I also have reservations on the accuracy of Lab/Scan tests results and would be repeating the same in another Lab.
Doctor's reputation, qualification or skill has no relevance if a patient is not getting timely attention.

Doctors are excellent and nurses are sweet and nice. But I wasn't happy with the functioning of CCU, there. The security guard outside ofcourse has to perform his duty but he can be less harsh as people very close to them like, the patient's daughters, sons, wives, husbands are there, and if no one is waiting to come in, he should allow the persons concerned to be with the patient if in very hopeless cases till atleast the allotted time. I found nurses running from one end to the other or writing something, filling up certain blanks. Don't u think the nurses should take a little more care of patients who come there like,---- apart from observing the parameters, should concentrate on each patient, where he / she is covered well and with a good warm blanket and lots of loving words and not being too harsh with very weak patients. Hoping a change occurs for the well being of patients . This is not meant to break rules ok Patients too should NOT feel jailed, they should feel the care, the smiles and the softness of both nurses and ward boys and girls. . Thanks for patient reading . Hope it is read by DOCTORS/ and ADMINISTRATION too and some bold steps taken

Doctor's are good, well experienced and kind towards patients. They maintain it very well and everything is in order. They are NOT into money making business.

Dr. Abraham Kurien(Urologist) and Dr. Vijayakumar(Cardiologist) are awesome. They treat taking into consideration all the facts related to the patient. They are always on their toes from morning till night, personally I have seen this with them when I had to get my dad treated.

Now all are money minded only.Money always money only.

Good facilities. Need more coordinating and time management, must say the doctor who did the scan was good and did it well and made us comfortable. Do not go for paediatric care. its waste and horrible. Obstetrics is decent.

Pls avoid DR.Kalaiselvan No.1 fraud doctor in this hospital , he is a silent killer.This is my hearty personal advice to all.
He done the angio stend operation on 6th Dec 16.
after angioplasty, patient affected blood infection due to wrong treatment , finally he dead on 7th jan 17.
New trail medicine treatment applied to patient without any concurrence from family.Money mind hospital..careful.

Will not recommend this hospital for anybody. They make us wait for a minimum of 4 hrs in the name of rules and policy. Absolutely poorly managed, zero respect for patients, zero respect for time. The support staff do not know how to address a patient, they are outright rude. I don't know why they take pride in a full waiting hall. They make such a big deal out of appointments but they don't keep up to it at all. A patient coming in at 8am can only see the doctor 12am, I don't understand the logic behind this. And a lot of useless formalities. Stressful and unfriendly environment with a lot of negative energy!
