Let me start off by saying some of the folks that ...

Let me start off by saying some of the folks that work here are very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.

However, there are plenty of reasons why Ponce Denim Co. deserve one star but the main reason is their no refund policy (and the owner Sandy s general rudeness).

I was not told of their no refund policy when I purchased a pair of jeans, then found the same pair online cheaper. I took the jeans back to PDC and was told of their no refund policy. After explaining that I was not aware of this policy, I was directed to my receipt where they indicate this no refund policy (which is weird because if it s on the receipt it s too late because you ve already purchased the item). I was then told the owner would be in the next day and to come back to talk to her.

So the next day I walk in and talk to Sandy, the owner. I calmly explained that I did not know of their policy when I bought the jeans and that I do not expect a refund, and then I asked for some clarity of their policy and why they do not issue refunds. Her reply to anything I said from then on was basically to the line of, It s our policy I don t have to explain anything. (To her credit she does not have to explain).

At one point she asked me if I shop at Gucci or Lous Vuitton, confused, I reply no . Then she asks if I shop at Walmart so I say I guess? . The she made her point of telling me whatever their policy is is their policy, I don t have to explain mine and neither do they.

At this point Sandy started to get a bit heated and interrupted my reply to exclaim that I knew of the policy when I bought the jeans and that it was basically impossible that I didn t because all of their employees say it verbally to every customer, that there is a sign, and that it s on the receipt (I read the sign when I bought the jeans and it s wording is a bit confusing, so I thought it was only referring to sale items).

I told her that the lady who checked me out did not inform me of their policy, to which she replied, oh! Well then i m going to fire her because that s our policy! .... um okay, a bit drastic but you also don t need to make me fee like it s my fault?

Nobody should ever have an experience like this in a retail setting. It was one if not the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had in a shop.

I suggest not shopping here. Again, some of the employees here are fine but the store as a whole needs a lot of work.

If you read more reviews of this place you ll see experiences like this are pretty regular.

Great store! I've been wanting to get into Raw Den...

Great store! I've been wanting to get into Raw Denim but never got the opportunity until I came to this awesome store! Sandy was so helpful from the moment I stepped into the store. She was patient and recommended several jeans until I found the perfect pair. Love this store and definitely plan on going back next time I visit Atlanta again.

My cousin purchased a pair of jeans, they were sup...

My cousin purchased a pair of jeans, they were supposed to be premium Levi s and they had a two-way stretch... needless to say after wearing them only a few hours they tore. Not down the seam, the material tore from near the crotch to mid thigh. Needless to say it is not repairable and I was informed there are no refunds... no exchanges. So basically $170.00 for two hours of wear.

Do waste your hard earned money and purchase jeans from this store. There are several other places that you can buy jeans in this location and should they happen to rip, they will gladly give you a return.

Extremely rude service. I got my jeans over a week...

Extremely rude service. I got my jeans over a week ago and a tragedy happened were their tailor died so I have been unable to get my jeans (100% understandable). I called the other day because I wasn t updated about the situation at all and after asking for my money back (because they said it will take two more weeks) the manager said that it sounds like I was threatening her. I am extremely appalled especially after spending $180 on jeans (even more, I am a repeat customer). There is no reason to take out the death of a tailor on the customer. If I could I would stand outside the store and warn people about the management, the employees are sweet and helpful but be warned.

Note: I would be deceitful if I did not mention that they said I could pick up the jeans. But then I would have to get my own tailor (and pay for it).

This is the first business review I have ever done because I am so shocked by their behavior.

I've been to Ponce Denim Company many times and have always been so impressed with their selection, but what really sets them a part is their customer service and attention from the moment you enter until you leave. 10/10 recommend.
