If it rains, then you can do that. Actually, it is also very nice, but somehow something "dead". It's funny, the price ($ 37 for the cheapest ticket per person) spoils the fun a bit. But hey that's New York

A museum is invested, the dolls are not the highest level there is ... Every museum in the museum has a DJ station that plays party music completely (maybe because we went in the evening)
A totally positive experience! We had a lot of fun .

If you're a Hollywood movie lover, you said that you should try to experience the entrance fee without having to go through it, but it will take time to enjoy it and Madam Tussaud in September 2018, which was abandoned because it was impossible to take photos alone. Wax Museum. Next time! Mark this huge left hand object!

Spectacular experience at Madame Tussauds with the thousand waxes of the most iconic VIPs in history, cinema, politics, music and current events. Experience enriched by 4d cinema (to be updated) but which gives more content to the experience. Highly recommended!

At least once in a lifetime should be visited. The idea of being able to take pictures next to the characters of the Star system, politics, music, etc. is nice. For many statues the resemblance to the originals is impressive. It would be nice though if even here they put at the disposal of the clients (like at Madame Tussauds in San Francisco) some accessories with which to take pictures "in theme" next to characters

Spectacular. An individual copy of the people. Sometimes you are really confused with the people next to you. It's a very large area, taking 2-3 hours. At the end, it was a 5D cinematic show, and it was beautiful. We traveled with the children and we all had a lot of fun. This was very neat to see, the work is amazing. I am glad we went and recommend you go! The staff was good
You are at Time Square, you can also visit that area on exit.

Nice place to visit. It s worth buying this ticket with combo options of other attractions like Empire State Building. We visited last week and bought ticket along with big bus hop on hop off ticket covering 2 more attractions. It s fun taking pictures with wax statues of celebrities. We felt some were very visible as wax statues and some were extremely close to human. Worth visiting!

Horribly organized, visiting from New Zealand. Went to go to go try out the VR experience. Got told to buy a 30 dollar ticket for the wax museum as you pay for the VR section separately only to be told they are no longer selling tickets once you get upstairs. Nobody at the front desk even mentioned that there was a limited number of tickets available.

A great NY attraction. Right in Times Square, it's easy to find an see. A cute, short experience where you go through the various floors all with different themes and activities. There are some special attracions such as a VR Ghostbusters experience and a 4D movie, for a little bit extra.
Some of the statues are amazing, a couple are really bad. I highly recommend the VR experience, especially if you haven't tried VR at all.
Madame Tussauds is a fun experience in the city for about 40$. A good experience and I recommend you go at least once while in the city.

This was overpriced & the wax figures weren't accurate at all. Bruce Willis was one of few who was spot on. This location does not compare to Madame Tussaud's in Hollywood. Hollywood is on point with their wax figures.

At first I wasn't sure how I would like this museum. I think wax figures are hellla creepy. But I gave it a whirl.

It was one of the best decision I've made. The museum has so many awesome hands on components that you can do. The figures look pretty awesome. And there are some dope rides in there. I recommend the zombie 4D game, you won't regret it.

Also there are like 5 candy/ice cream shops inside. So that's a huge plus as well.

Enjoyed everything! The ride shooting the zombies, making our own wax hands, hanging out with the wax figures and the good ice cream! Only thing they could incorporate is adding more props with the wax figures like the wax museum in Hollywood.

A little cheesy but a fun thing to see in NYC - get a coupon or talk to the dude at the door to get a 1/2 price ticket. Some of the wax figures were shockingly realistic. I was surprised at the height of some of the famous folks - Prince was really really short :)

We visited Mme Tussauds as part of a sightseeing pass. If it had not been included in the price and I had paid extra for it, I would have been annoyed. I found the exhibition very carelessly arranged. The staff seemed overwhelmed and a bit disoriented. I would not visit it again.

It's a wax museum. You see one, you've seen them all. BUT, I highly recommend TheVOID's Ghostbusters VR experience. 15min fully immersive VR experience to blast ghosts with up to 4 people. Without spoiling much, haptic suit, wind, smells, vibrations, etc. as you are virtually lead through a physical space where you can feel the walls and other elements. Having done a number of Oculus and Vive demos and experiences, this one is no question the best VR experience currently open to the public (attended in July 2016). Until their full VRcade opens in Utah, this is the only location currently open to the public. Just for this, go to Madame Tussauds in NYC ($50 with admission to museum and experience. I wish they would offer cheaper admission to just the VR, not willing to spend $50 again).

Madame Tussauds New York is amazing location if you are visiting the city. You can spend a lot of time there and I promise you will have great time. Perfect place for cool pictures. There are a lot of people all the time but there is space for everyone. There are a lot of restaurants around the place if you get hungry.

It s on your bucket list, I know it is. Do yourself a favor and check out all the coupons online (especially Goldstar) and buy a discounted fare for Madame Toussauds. There is a reason why it is famous all over the world. When you see the wax figures you will wonder if they are real! Some figures are a little off (too skinny, facial features inaccurate, etc.) but when they are spot on it is like a living US Weekly. I had a blast at Madame Toussauds. This is a great interactive experience. Good for families, tourists, and dates! I went for Halloween and it was like a party with a dj and drinks. Every now and then they release a current figure. At the time I went it was super heroes and comic book characters. The Hulk and Captain America was awesome. And who doesn t love a little Johnny Depp or Salma Hayek?
