I had a lot of fun going here with my sisters. The only reason I didn't give it a five star is because I was expecting to see a few of my favorite celebrities but unfortunately they were not there :( I think one of the employees said they were in London

Many say you know a Madame Tussauds, then you know everyone. It's not quite like that. Very nice presentation with the different topics. The Ghostbuster department in particular was well done. It's just a shame that there were only a few figures / topics to see in general. Likewise that an unbelievable number of people were hit and you were almost passed through like cattle in a pulg. TIP: AS TIME AS POSSIBLE. Ideally right after the opening, otherwise you stand in line for 30-60 minutes for cards.

Nice place for a quick visit with kids. I never wanted to visit bc always thought wax figures of celebrities were dumb. 5 minutes into our visit i was taking pics with JLO. They sell alcohol, so im sure that helped. Not expensive for family of four, including the 4D movie.

A very fun experience especially the part where they offer leisure in 4D. Although the figures the great majority need more care since they are a little deteriorated, especially the clothing. Another thing that I found abusive, is that besides you already pay the entrance (nothing cheap) to take photos with certain figures you have to pay part. For example, Obama, Trump ...

As the Americans say ... Waist of time. Go to Amsterdam for a good experience. Images are bad, outdated and setup is worthless. And if you go anyway, check the row for Obama with that of Trump ....

Excellent was collection. Just need some to organize the store. I was looking for a gift and ask for help and nobody came to help us. After 15 min waiting. So decided to go without what I want.

Very well organized. The best thing in the morning to fix the appointment and around 19 clock up ... then you may get the sunset and the lighting of the Empire State Building with. Here you can also see One World, Lady Liberty and Central Park.

The museum itself seems a little too short. They had certain sections blocked off for a private function. Overall, a diverse range of wax figures. The ticketing staff was terrible. They are extremely unorganized. I had a New York Pass and ticketing should not have taken long. There was a line for purchasing tickets and one for VIP/pre-ordered tickets. A bunch of people were in the VIP line when they should have been in the other. After 20+ minutes in line, I went up to the ticket counter and was told "I'm not ready yet". Had to wait an additional 5+ minutes to be taken care of. Getting a ticket at every other museum I went to with the New York Pass took less than one minute; this ticketing process was ridiculous.

I ve been to this location twice and it s crowded every time. The wax statues are very realistic and well made through, but it can be a bit of a wait to take photos with your favorite personality if there are many people around. Overall it s a great way to pass time with friends around times square. They also have discounts on Groupon.

Not as big as anybody would imagine as the one in England is 10 times the size with a lot of figures while this one hardly has 40 figures

If u r going buy the cheapest ticket as it's not much to see and don't bother for the activities they eye wash u with most of it is unreal compare to what they say

My daughter like the place. For me it was about "meh".
There were plates informing who is the person you are seeing but not too much personnel to help in case you need something.
You bought the 4D Cinema too. It was my first time and I really enjoyed. That's actually was the best part for me.

For a place that is pretty touristy, I'm surprised I've been there more than once. The first time I took my daughter and she did not know who many of the figures were. It's better to go with someone who is more familiar with pop culture and history through the years.

The second time I went was for Halloween. We got a great deal off of Gold Star and it was a different scene as they set up a bar and had music with a dj. It was pretty fun and turned out to be a great place for an event.

Lots of great art and good location. Friendly staff and easy to follow floors. Thrilling experience with 4D marvel movie and some VR games to spike up the excitement. Took pics with some of my favorite celebrities lol. You need to explore Madame Tussauds when visiting NYC.

Really enjoyed Madame Tussauds Wax Sculpture Museum. The sculptures are incredibly detailed right down to the veins. Some sculptures bear uncanny resemblance to the actual person and some are not so lifelike. But overall, they are amazing. They have a 4D theatre as well showing Marvel Comics show. Folks visiting the Museum can have a replica of their hands made with wax. This was a very unique experience.

This place is great, but the line to get in is was insanely long. Also being a place where everyone is taking selfies I would definitely recommend coming early or scouting out the less busy hours. I think it's awesome but if you get annoyed by waiting on others to take pics or waiting in line again skip or try being time conscious! I know it's a wax statue but having a picture holding Robin Williams hand is truly something special to me.
