Macys Monroeville Review

Visited the Clinique counter and could not have had a more pleasant experience.

My experience was great. Always get nice quality outfits.

Check out clearance items on lower level might surprise you, it did me.

Wish they had more registers open. It stinks you only get the sale price on certain things if you have their Macy's credit card.

Macy's is Macy's! Always a good shopping experience.

Shopping in the Men's Suit department. I had excellent customer service from Susan and Wayne. Both staff incredibly friendly, nice and helpful. Regretfully, I could not find what I was looking for. The Alfani line does not offer every fabric/pattern in every size.

The selection was pretty good. They did not have the one shirt I originally went to Macy's for. A cranberry colored polo style Ralph Lauren shirt. Now, I did find a few things that I liked, but it would've made my shopping experience a lot more pleasant if I were able to find what I initially went for.

Love my Macy's but I didn't get my package I'm a little upset

I was in the Monroeville store with my family.
It's a very nice store, and the staff was very pleasant.
The biggest problem was that the store's air conditioning either
wasn't working, or set to a very high temperature. My wife could't try any
cloths on because it was so hot.
We would have stayed in the store and bought a lot more if the air conditioning would have been working.
Hope something will be done about it soon.

Great selection of items for the holiday season. The staff is genuinely helpful and kind. Also, the store looks to be making a strong effort in the battle against Covid-19.

It is gone now but you can get good deals if you look for them.

I came to the store to pick up my online order of items that were indicated as in stock when I placed the order. When I got to the store the items were not even available. Waited for 2 hours and still no one knew where the items were. Now I know why Macy's is on the verge of bankruptcy. Do yourself a favor; save time and the trip up here. Just order from Amazon next time. At least they know what they have in inventory.

Nice young lady took good care of me at Macy's. I recommend the Mac counter at Macy's

This is a wonderful branch although however there is one Indian woman named rachis or something of that nature that had royally screwed me due to lack of information and incorrect information. My credit that I have been working several years on to get to 800 fell below 600. when I came back in and confronted her, she basically acted as if I was insane and she never told me what she did. If it wasn't for my fiance also being present to witness, I would not have a leg to stand on. I was misguided and lied too and my pride was stolen that day.

They have the.nicest most considerest people working there. Very patient with Seniors.

Macy's is Macy's, what can I say. The only thing I didn't care for is the dressing room was closed due to the pandemic.

The womens plus sizes had a limited selection of dresses and the shoe department was slightly messy with no help from store associates. Not the worst Macy's I've been to but Definately not the best.

It is nice especially for this mall in my opinion, having three floors, I've found nice shirts and hoodies here but I wish they would carry more styles of mens shirts.
you can get shoes here. Levi's is plentiful.
Four stars for Macy's. 3 floors and plenty of things for men's, womans and children's stuff.

As others have posted here already, this store is pretty good overall (the staff and selection being the best part), but the complete lack of A/C is insane. With record summer highs, it's absolutely unacceptable to have the A/C off! And then you wonder why stores like this keep losing business to online retailers. Utterly disgraceful

Noticed less product on shelves. Catering to lower income patrons. Very sad what is happening in this country! Won't be going back to Monroeville Mall!

My all time favorite for quality products and clothing which I will never be able to judge if shopping through Amazon.

I have been a Macy s customer for years and I have enjoyed my shopping experience there. The store is always clean and the sales people are very helpful. But the past few times this summer, my friends and I have noticed the heat has been very overwhelming, making it hard to stay shopping for any large amount of time. Your attention to this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Macy's is a very friendly store. They will bend over backwards to help you. I'm talking about the Monroeville Mall location. Just got home from a great shopping experience at Macy's.

No one to help or check out, had to walk. all over hunting for sales person... pathetic.

Friendly workers and good prices great place to shop.

Inattentive employees and high priced mediocre product selection

I have shopped at Macy's for years, however It has become apparent that Macys has done some serious backsliding as a retail store. I have been there numerous times since before Christmas, and most recently being this week. Each visit was at varied times of the day. A couple were in the mid-morning, a couple were in the late afternoon, and a couple were in the early evening. Each time it was apparent that there wasn't enough people staffed to help out a shopper with asking questions such as where can I find something, what is the price of this particular item, etc ..Nothing. There's never anyone around.I might also add that I've called Macy's prior to my trips out there to ask questions only to find that the phone just rings and rings and rings and no one answers any extension that you call.
So in my most recent visit being this evening 4th of February I went to the store around 5:30 and as usual there was no one to be found. Very scattered staff here and there. I finally found a woman and asked her if she could help me to locate a shirt that I had seen at another Macy's in a different area of Pittsburgh. She was not at all receptive to helping me, and kind of walked off. She came back and gave me mumbled answer saying no one answered the phone at the Macys she was trying to call to get the information that I was seeking and then she walked away.
I wasn't real happy about this but what could I do. I guess she must have had something better to do then customer service.
The other thing that turned me off and this is not an isolated incident either was that there are clothes strewn on the floor in the departments that I was shopping in.. It's not very appetizing to me as a consumer to buy clothes that have been on the floor and I found myself walking around picking them up and putting them back on the hanger. It wasn't just a few pieces here and there there was clothes on the floor under the racks, and on the floor under the tables.
I thought well if Macy's hired a couple more people or kept people around in the off-hours rather than leaving the consumer to wander around trying to find things answer their own questions in their heads rather than having a staff member do it then maybe the clothes wouldn't be on the floor. So for these reasons I'm giving Macy's three stars. One for the clothes not being hung up as they should be, and two for the customer service.. They need to step up their game, because with online shopping and competition from other stores Macy's can't afford not to be a place where people go and enjoy shopping.

The clerk didn't know what I was talking about and said u didn't carry it but other macys did she didnt know the product

Did not like this store I thought it was supposed to be a discount store and I thought their prices were high give me back Kaufmann's I loved Kaufman's I even worked for Kaufman's at one time they had a Bargain Basement downtown Pittsburgh you could always get reasonable deals in there

Went in to buy a new suit. To say the least for a grown man, I have no idea about buying a suit. Holly the sales person was absolutely amazing and Very patient as I was super picky about colors and pricing and helped me get exactly what I needed.

I often go to Macy's Department store in Monroeville Mall, Monroeville, PA. They offer just about anything you need as far as clothing goes. They offer men's, women's, children's and infants clothing. The store also has furniture and household items, belts, purses and accessories, health and beauty products, underwear garments, and socks and shoes. Items are seasonal and they always seem to have great sales, Most of the merchandise is of high quality and very stylish and trendy. They sell clothing items that are made specifically for Macy's
as well as renowned high fashion designers.
I like the fact that you can find something suitable for any type of budget. Macy's employees are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The store has restrooms for both men an women. The store is wheelchair accessible and they offer ample parking that is accessible to all. I do highly recommend this department store.

I love that you can order online & if you dont like your item or if it doesn"t fit, etc. You can return in two ways (1) either take back to any Macy's store or (2) call CS & they'll get a return mailing kabel to you. They have great sales & I can always find something for me or as a gift. Sad that some stores by me closed so I have to travel farther to visit a store.

Macys always has coupons and carries name brands. You can shop for the entire family in one place. In fact you can shop for everything at Macy's. Then if you are looking for bargains there is backstage and you get great good quality items at a great price.
