Macy's Review

This site has everything! Great selection, great customer service, but the lines to pay can get a little long. I'm not sure why they just don't have more registers

It's Macy's. I dunno, it's fine I guess, but I think all Macy's are kinda dirty and unkempt. You can find good sales though. Good luck finding a sales associate on the floor. Or an open register most days.

Famous and awesome. I love coming here even though I m not a fan of crowds.

Unprofessional left the tags with ink on my grey pants might as well start painting them blue and orange now !!!

Beautiful exterior and interior, great selection, would reccomend this store to my friends for sure.

Biggest Macy's in the world! I bought prom dress from level -1 which has amazing dress collection. The dresses from -1 floor are not from a well known brand but good collection. if you want branded dresses go to 5th floor.

One f the best places in the city to relax. There's stores all around and no street performers like time square.There's the park with chairs to just sit down. Nice place to be in the summer

Be prepared to hike and wait at least a half hour to use the bathroom.

Day after Christmas it was crowded, but I knew exactly what I wanted. Kudos to them for showing their Kiehl' s display through the window, it brought me into the store. They had plenty if staff ready to help me, got what I needed and didn't have to deal with the other shoppers.

I love the customer service in this store,everyone is friendly and helpful.And the prices are comforting to me.

The Christmas windows were beautiful as well as the interior decorations. Always a great place to shop. Was a little taken back as the Cellar I remember from years ago is gone and totally redesigned.

Got to admit I was a little disappointed, I was looking for a bargain but didn't spot one. If you've got cash to spend pop to Macys they'll happily help you.

I had such a positive experience shopping for a spring jacket in the womans jacket section on the 8th floor. The sales associate was very pleasant,accomadating,and knowledgeable. She made sure to go above and beyond. Her name was Lisa, great job.

Macy's Department Store on 34th Street and Broadway at Herald Square have been a New York City icon since " A Miracle On 34th Street ".

Macy's is 1 of the best department stores in NYC. They carry any and every thing one would need.

Macy's prices can be very reasonable when they have a sale.

There is even a McDonald's and other eateries on the 7th floor.

One can spend a few days here and still not be bored.

I didn't get discount of 4o % so I didn't buy anything. I was disappointed.

The staff on the ground floor that are selling fragrances made a huge impact on my stay in New York , sure they were trying to sell the product but they were really nice and funny and inviting. I was in there for over an hour.

I love Macy's for multiple reasons, the first and most obvious is the shopping aspect and how big it is. Macy's is huge inside (and that's probably still an understatement) and has so much variety in clothes and accessories for everyone. It will take a good few hours to look around just one half of the store. Incredible shopping experience with great price ranges.
Second, Macy's has an interesting history which kept me wanting to know more about how the store became what it is today. The history of Macy's ranges from the Titanic through to both Wars and beyond.
Overall Macy's is definitely a place to go to if you're in New York at any point.

WOW!! I haven't been here in YEARS! This place is HUGE!! It was SO PRETTY at Christmastime,, beautifully, tastefully decorated. We walked thru the perfume department,,, that was FUN... LOL

The original. I was in here during an earthquake one time and I didn't feel a thing. If that doesn't make you want to shop here then I don't know what does. Great service as well. Come in December for the window displays.

I like the concept of getting a lot of stuff under one roof !

Amazing store really missed the entire shopping experience, especially being stuck at home for all this time. Definitely done with online shopping!

I was expecting To have a window at the top so you can see at the no there wasn t one so that I ended up coming back down because I want to see the viewer to the top so you best of me going up the trade centre because it s really tall and has a really good view but it is quite expensive at a price of one child one senior and one adult as $101. This place has high seas shots moving together and it s got furniture top and some nice elevators that are quite old and made of wood.

You don't have to shop in anywhere else in New York city if this is your first and short visit.

I would never ever go here. I used to have a credit card until they embarassed me on the floor. I never missed a payment in 10 years but out of the blue with a long line behind me they canceled my card.

It's a mad house, but it's historic. Took some friends there that were visiting from out of town to see the wooden escalator.

Just a big department store. Sort of a cross between Harods and Debenhams in the UK. Nowhere near as classy as Harods.

I'm a shopper and I have to say walking inside this Macys is very intimidating. It has 7 stories I had no clue where to start. Not alot of last acts. The original wooden escalator is the best feature of the store. Has side stores within Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry etc. Happy shopping.

Macy s really went all out on their display this year! They had a great variety of themed floral displays intertwined with their regular merchandise which made shopping very enjoyable! The display really made my visit to NYC great! I m going to put this in my annual list of things to do in the city.

World's largest store. That should tell everything about this place. Not enough words to describe what this store is like.

I never expected myself to shop here as often as I do. This Macy's has everything under the sun, department store-wise. There are sales all the time in multiple departments. The store building itself is so massive you can easily get lost. Very conveniently, there are multiple bathrooms and restaurants throughout the building. During Christmas-time, the decorations inside and out are gorgeous, so it's definitely worth a visit during that time of year.

Most insane Macy's I've ever step foot in. So amazing, even if just for the experience of being inside the place!

What can I say? This is Macy's flagship store. I say store but it's so much more than that. It's more like an experience.

What can be said of this legendary retailer? You've seen it in the movies now live it in reality. It's all you expect and more!

We received superior service in men's suits; courteous and expert.

But were sadly disappointed by sales staff in the men's shoe department. As a shoe salesman myself in my college days, I was stunned to have a salesman simply hand off a box of shoes for my friend and then go chat with another sales person. When I asked how the staff was trained, I was told it was person-to-person, so no real standards and practices. Bad practices could proliferate. All they learn is the sales system. They are sales clerks, not real sales people.

It was large and had everything that we were looking for.

The flagship store is the only one I even come close to enjoying

Customer service is not good in this store. Came to return online purchase at Shiseido. The associate couldn't ring a return and went to manager. I thought she will bring the manager to take care of it, but she returned saying I need to call online because it was online purchase. She didn't seem to care to help me, so apparently was her manager.

Considered to be the biggest and most visited Macy's stores ever. Everything is there. Clothes' perfumes' cosmetics etc.. I sometimes feel it needs organisation as some children or women items can be found in different floors which is a time waist. Still a great place to shop. There are cafes and food shacks inside the building too. You can also get lost or loose a child if you dont concentrate.

Brilliant department store where you can get just about anything.

Love my Macy's store in the city I can browse around all day long. They've keep it's so clean. There so much to do in that area in the Summertime.

Great offers during the President's Day sale this weekend. Super helpful sales staff helped me find exactly what I was looking for.

No rush, the store is huuuuuuge. Take your time to find things by yourself, because nobody knows how to help you. Actually people working there are a kind of rude

This Macys does not compare to any other Macys I have been in. Lets just say i ended up getting my jacket on the 7th foor. The place is huge.

My Favorite Macy's I been shopping here since the 90s and Never disappointed. The most helpful employees are older Caucasian and Spanish females under 5foot6 from my experiences. I was given a discount for being patient my sales person went on brake while I was waiting.
