I test drove a vehicle and told them I wanted to purchase vehicle , just wanted more information from previous owner . I emailed the co . next day , they just sold it without even letting me know . I even offered to put money Down the day I was there. Salesman said wait. pretty bad way of doing business would not recommend this co .

My wifes car door would not open from outside.
They charged he over five hundred dollars to fix it and it only worked for one day..,then they said they needed to change the cable inside door and wanted over four hundred for that after quoting 350.00 on written estimate.
We told them it was too much and we did not want it done. Now they want to charge her $50.00 for restocking fee...

We went to MacDonald Motors not expecting very much and not only did they have the EXACT Jeep that my husband wanted, Travis (our salesman) gave us the keys - did NOT go with us, told us to try it out and have fun. We got there around 2:30, test drove until around 3:00. When we went inside, not only did they pay off our old car and gave us a great deal with bumper-to-bumper coverage, but they close at 4:00 and they stayed open for us until 5:20. Travis did all the work, did not shuffle us to a finance guy, called the bank we wanted, called our insurance company and then took pictures of us with our new Jeep. We also made Travis and the owner Mr. MacDonald (who was also still there) do a celebratory HAPPY DANCE in the middle of the showroom floor! This was the fastest and best car purchase we have ever done - VERY nice people. We haven't used the service dept yet as we have literally only had it 2 weeks but if they are as nice, dependable and reliable as the front office we will be super happy - and service certainly counts for a lot - we will update this review after we have used the service but so far - VERY, VERY HAPPY! :)

My wife and I were new to Bridgton a year and a half ago and inquired about trading vehicles with Macdonald Motors then and although the numbers didn't work for us personally at that time, we knew we'd go back when the time was right for us. We recently did go back, as doing business locally is important to us, and it was very clear that doing business with "locals" is equally as important to them. Travis McManus, our salesman and Dan Macdonald, the owner were wonderful to work with and applied absolutely no pressure one way or another. What was also a great experience was to be taken around the dealership and introduced to all of the department heads, office staff and any other employee that we crossed paths with and be genuinely acknowledged and congratulated on our purchase. We have no doubt that the service on our vehicle will be handled with the same genuine interest and care that our purchase process was.
These guys were super helpful I was not buying a car but my motorcycle broke down a mile down the road I walked there and they helped me out with a jumper pack and we're super kind and courteous got me fixed up and on my way very fast

Although I have only had my Dodge 1500 pick-up for 8 days I am totally satisfied with the vehicle. I have been a customer of Macdonald Motors for over 10 years and have always had excellent service and experience at their dealership.
I took my car here for the airbag recall, the service department told me I needed some clockwork thing to make the airbag light go off. I was told it would take 7 days to get the part, the part took a month to come in. When the part came in I took my car in for the service only to find out that was not the part I needed. I was told I was all set to go with no charge (I double checked as I left the dealership). Over 2 months later I received a bill for a part I did not need (and thought they had removed) and to check that they had installed the airbags correctly. This is not right and my next step will be to contact the state if this is not resolved.
We have purchased several vehicles from Mcdonald Motors and have also had our vehicles and even our RV serviced at Mcdonald Motors. They have always provided us with excellent service, as they treat their customers as family. I strongly recommend Sales Representative Tim Morton, he always goes the extra mile for his customers, as does owner Dan Mcdonald.

PSA: Do not recommend. I recently had to put new ball joints and tires on my truck that I spent 30k on less than a year ago. I called Macdonald motors for them to fix the problem due to obviously not checking ball joints and they turned me away said not their problem. I still have a sticker from them that came with the truck. I would not recommend anyone buy from these people unless you want to put over 1,000 of work in less than a year.

Sales Department is great especially Tim Morton. Service Department is a three ring circus. Unorganized and inconsiderate. Our last two experiences were unacceptable; my wife and I have been going there for years and she has bought 4-5 vehicles there. I was in the car business myself for 5 years and we'd never accept such incompetence. We have switched over to Lee Dodge in Auburn.

After having a horrible experience at another dealership and being a die hard Chevy guy since birth I reluctantly went to a Dodge dealership and will never go to another dealership again. They were the most respectful gentlemen I have ever dealt with at a dealership. My not so easy financing situation that Q*^%*Chevy didn t even want to look at or deal with (I had purchased my trade in and two prior trucks from) was a walk in the park for Macdonald Motors, the owner even sat down said hello listened to the situation and just said don t worry we will get it done so I love my Ram 2500, I will never go anywhere else for a truck and Travis, my wife is looking to trade in her Sequoia and I m trying to talk her into a Jeep or a Ram 3500 dually, that.
But really if you need a vehicle and you want to by a vehicle and not be sold a vehicle, you want to be treated with respect through the process and not $$$ signs for a commission give these guys a shot, you won t be disappointed.

I bought a car from Macdonald in Bridgton and I couldn t t be happier for so many reasons.
Last last weekend we unfortunately broke down and had the car towed 2 hours to get it to Macdonald. On the way there we spoke in the phone to Travis to alert him of our situation. Once we arrived everyone was so accommodating. They even drove us home.
After learning the cost to fix the vehicle we decided to trade it in for something newer. The only dealership we considered buying from was Macdonald. They get excellent reviews for a reason. I could not believe how great customer service was with it.No mater who I talked to, that person would do all they could to help me or take me to who could help me. That alone made me by my new truck from MacDonald Motors. The great service only continued . When I bought my Third truck they went out of their way to help transfer boxes, slide out and other items from old truck to new truck to keep me going with little down time. Spoke with a salesman on a vehicle and explained I was approved for financing. A date was set to meet and test drive. I was notified that the vehicle was in the shop being detailed. I advised him to keep me posted. After a couple of days, I called him and he informed me that it'll be another couple days, they decided to replace the exhaust, but it is on back order. Then I get an email that the vehicle was sold!
SO AFTER 3 WEEKS OF WAITING AND CHECKING, IT WAS SOLD OUT FROM UNDER ME! NOT IMPRESSED AND WILL NEVER GO BACK!!

They fixed an airbag recall that I had. Told me I had a nail in my tire I spent $115 on a new one and it was just a tack. Didn't affect my tire at all
Had a great experience! Salesperson (Travis) wasn't pushy or trying to steer us toward something else. We got exactly what we wanted and at a great price! Financing, insurance, temporary registration was handled right there and we drove away in the new Jeep the same day.
