I am a first-time homeowner living in one of M&M development's beautiful and new single-family homes. I moved to the area for school and was disappointed with the housing options available for students because they were extremely pricey, older apartments, and about a 15 minute walk from my school. I was nervous moving into an urban environment that was known for being a bit run down and violent in the media. However, I am inspired by the incredible, modern, attractive, and welcoming homes that have been built in this area under the thoughtful and attentive leadership of Maria and Maria of M&M development. They are such kind, proactive, dependable, reliable, and engaged women, who are changing the landscape of cities that have been struggling and helping to rebuild them home by home.

The city I moved to in 2014 has transformed, slowly but surely, block by block, into a community that families and professionals alike are more eager to move into to build a home. The process of change and rebuilding a community that fell on difficult times with diffuse job loss does not occur overnight and I often run into individuals who are skeptical when I tell them that I proudly live in the community of Camden, NJ. However, due to visionary and devoted members of this community and beyond, early believers in its potential such as M&M development and myself are witnessing the amazing outcome of determination, hard work, and investment in this community. They deserve an incredible amount of credit for the risks they took in moving into and devoting their energy and expertise to communities such as Newark and Camden in New Jersey.

Their hard work has been paying off and everyday I see more beauty and possibility in my neighborhood. I see more children playing outside since more and more M&M development houses have risen up on my street and others nearby. The brand new elementary school built around the corner brings children and families walking down the sidewalk before and after school hours, smiling and catching up with their neighbors they may have never met previously. My neighbors have welcomed me with open arms. One neighbor who has lived here with his family for over 40 years ran outside to help me shovel when I needed assistance clearing my sidewalk during a massive snow storm. Another one gladly came to my aid on numerous occasions when I was having car trouble. I am proud to live in the community I learn from and serve as a student. I know that the beautiful M&M homes across from Sheila Roberts Park and around the vicinity are a huge source of change, hope, and strength that is rebuilding my community and neighborhood to restore it to the prominence it once had as a major port city in New Jersey. I am grateful to the vision, leadership, and perseverance of M&M development in providing beautifully designed and affordable homes for me and my neighbors to live in and maintain as this constantly growing community begins to flourish once more.

Do not buy from this company as a first time home buyer with my wife we were told that the area we brought in was a up in coming area. Across the street sits a empty lot which homeowners had to fight in city hall on April 13 to stop another development company from building a 65 unit all low income apartments that accepts section 8,which would have devalued our property. Along side that the same architect that built our condo was going to build the low income for rpm development which was trying to build across from us I look at this as a bad investment which m & m sold us a beautiful dream. Please do your due diligence before buying anything from this company because most areas they target are high crime areas with overpriced sales, the only people that's benefiting from this is the local drug dealers, liquor store, corner store,and section 8 tenants, M & M development. Our roof top has yet to be fix the benches are gone and outside the building is always trash bags on the side which we pay hesta management HOA which is also own by M & M. My wife put in a work order for a cabinet to be placed and it took 4 months before we gotten a cabinet the floors inside the condo we purchase makes squeaky sounds the building was built in 2015 to my knowledge we move in February of 2016 it seems m & m have rushed there work to make a quick sale we told them about the floors and no one seems to care are come out to see the problem. We now hire a new property management company to manage and take pride in our property. As a medical professional working in New York City and jersey city I have had so many colleagues that wanted to come to the city of Newark and purchase condos are townhomes and at one time I had M & M development as a great development company to purchase from but not I have to reconsider that and not let the next hard working individual be fooled.also along purchasing the condo we were looking for a lawyer to handle the paperwork M & M recommend us to a attorney that was in Harrison New Jersey which was related to them when my wife contacted him for our deed there was no call answer and the firm we met him at to go over the paperwork he was no longer apart of that attorney firm so the attorney firm helped my wife to get the deed.please please please do your home work do your due diligence before buying anything from this development if you trying to become a homeowner thank god I make great money to get my family up out this hell hole.

M&M Development is owned by two European women who take great pride in their work. Their homes (I have seen several of them) reflect this. It does not look like a construction company just flipped a house/apartment. It looks like an interior designer was the lead in the construction process. Hardwood floors, tiled fireplace, brand new stainless steal refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and oven, quartz countertop with huge island, beautiful bathrooms. For me, being a first time home owner, it's a little unreal.

It is in an up and coming area however. This is why something so nice and well done, is not at some outrageous price. Do your research of the area before purchasing. Sure, if the house has some issues that break because of poor construction, then you can blame the sellers. But, if you are unhappy with the area, that is not the sellers fault, if you don't like the area then you shouldn't buy a place in that area. (I have seen other comments upset with the neighborhood and I am unsure how that is related to M&M and their work.)

M&M worked with us to close earlier than originally planned so we could time it with our lease. Since they were rushed there were a few things they had to finish up after we moved in. They kept their word on everything. Buying from M&M, in my opinion, is way better than buying a place from Joe Schmo contractor, who cuts corners and uses cheap materials to make an extra buck. I believe these women design and construct the home as if they were going to live it in and am very happy with the end result.

I love my new home! M&M Development LLC created a community of great home-ownership products in an up-and-coming neighborhood of Camden, NJ. When I had a few minor issues with my home, M&M Development LLC fixed the items in a timely manner. I highly recommend the professional and ground-breaking work that the company does, particularly in areas that have sometimes been neglected. I greatly appreciate what they have done.

M&M does unethical business -- do not trust them and be careful as they lie and manipulate buyers into paying multiple appraisals for overpriced properties.
