I've been going to LMG for 3 years and I am finally DONE. The billing department has consistently sent bills to old addresses. My first bill was delivered to the wrong address and a debt collection agency contacted me about it a year and a half later. This office had multiple other ways to contact me about this bill but sent it to debt collections instead.

Since then, I've called several times to make sure they had the correct address on file. But without fail, the latest bill was delivered to an old address across the country. When I called the billing department, they said they had my correct address on file, but there must've been an error in sending it out. At this point, my only choice is to move to a new doctors office.

I have had the opportunity to interact with several members of the billing department over time and found them all very kind and willing to go the extra mile. I especially appreciate the ability to pay my bill online, it is a seamless process! Would highly recommend LMG doctors, my and my family s experience has been top notch!

I would like to share my story as I was treated unfairly at this facility!
Long story short, when I took my appointment with the phone operator and gave my medical insurance information they confirmed that my insurance will cover %80! Here I m looking at the bill that shows completely a different story with a higher amount that I was not aware of, or being communicated! After explaining my situation to them especially that I would never accept to go for any kind of operation if the insurance was not covering the %80!
I was disappointed by their careless response, and they did not even considered the fact of the wrong information communicated to me!

I did not feel like a patient but more like a money target whom the information was hidden from!
Yes, I was too naive for trusting the phone operator, but as a patient I'm expecting to be advised about all necessary information specially the money wise!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this medical group!

This group is horrible. I have had the misfortune of using two different practices which are a part of this group and both were equally terrible. I go out of my way to avoid doctors or specialists who are a part however they seem to be buying up everyone. In the first practice, only one of 3 doctors accepted my insurance so over the course of 3 years I was only able to see a doctor one time, it was always a toss up which nurse practitioner you would get to see and the administrative team was less than helpful. Recently I saw a specialist who was good however the administrative staff again appalling. I arrived for a procedure during the pandemic and the front desk person was more interested in maintaining a conversation with colleagues in the back than responding to patients. As if that wasn't enough, I was given a hard time by additional staff for not waking up fast enough from anesthesia as they wanted to go home, the doctor and anesthesiologist were long gone. This was further compounded by the fact that the LMG billing dept submitted my claims under an expired insurance number they found in their system despite having the current information and 6 months later I am still battling to get the bill submitted correctly. Never mind I would have hit my deductible months ago had they not made this stupid error. If you can avoid doctors who are a part of this group, PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favor and find another. They are careless and only in it for the money, the patient is an afterthought.

Worst practice to deal with. They keep sending a bill that does not belong to us. Tried calling billing and other phone numbers belonging to this group. None responded or picked up. Tried for 40 minutes then gave up. Can't believe this is a doctors office where no one picks up the phone and they call themselves the premier group.

The phlebotomist at Dr Valerie Williamson is extremely incompetent and just pure evil. I came in to do a preop blood work for an extremely important surgery I was having that was time sensitive. This lady got so frustrated with my thin veins that she hurt my arm with the tourniquet and then afterwards says she s not sure if the blood volume is enough for all the different tests in a rude obnoxious I don t really care about this kinda way. I asked to sit and drink some water so she can take my blood again but she refused. A week later and I m missing two bloods tests and surgery is fast approaching. I ended up getting another Oder from surgeon and go to lab Corp immediately. thank god my preop came back in time for surgery. It s just sad that now I have to find a new pcp due to this odd lady and her nonchalant behavior. Ughh I just hate people that complicate things.

looking at the reviews here, it bothers me that I am not the only one questioning their billing services. I keep getting random bills, one from over 2 years back, while i have received some in between that are legit. When I question it, I get asked to hold and no one comes back. This happened 3 times now and i just called again (a different bill) and when I questioned that bill from April and May for $179, i now owed over $200. The phone went "click" and now i can not get an answer.

If i could give zero stars i would. Their customer service was horrible. Their front desk staff was not welcoming at all and rude. Their billing is a joke. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

I had lab-work done in August of 2017, paid for one month later when they sent me the bill.

Then I paid more again for the same service the following March.

Then I received a bill AGAIN for the same service nearly a year later, and when I called and pressed them on the details, they stated that it was because they made a "billing error" the previous year and that they'll send me to collections if I don't pay up.

Needless to say, I demanded all supporting documentation before payment, and filed a complaint with the Virginia Department of Health Professions for LMG's shady and/or incompetent business practices.

I'll insist that my doctor not use them going forward for lab work, or I'll be finding a new doctor.

Avoid using them at all costs.
There's nothing they can fix that's worth doing business with them.

I have been in communication in regards to a billing issue with an insurance claim. The insurance company indicated they were reprocessing the claim on June 28th, which I e-mailed their staff about and received no response then I later received a notice of this going to collections. The lack of response, availability, and communication of their staff is disappointing.

This billing department is an absolute disgrace! Every time they send us a bill, I have to call for one reason or another...I've already made a payment...they've billed the wrong insurance...they've sent bills 1 year later....and now I just received a bill from 2016 because they billed the wrong insurance, AGAIN! It's hard enough dealing with the crazy medical billing in this country but dealing with the total incompetence in this billing office makes it that much harder. It was so bad, we stopped going to this doctor but the nightmare continues to haunt us 3 years later.

In the market for the worst medical experience imaginable? You've come to the right place. Wish I'd read all the awful reviews before going here. Note that most are related to their billing practices. This doesn't surprise me at all. Also the worst dermatologist appointment I've ever had. Stephanie Daniel was very unprofessional (thought it was very cute to call it a 'T&A' (though she said the words) check or something similar) and not at all thorough. Then the bill arrived. My insurance had only paid 40%, so I had an unexpected bill of ~$100. I haven't worked at all since fall of last year, and am a one-income household, so I called their office to see what could be done. They told me to send what is called, I learned, a "hardship letter." I'd had to do this with two other practices I'd seen while covered by this lousy insurance, and in both cases, those offices had written off or reduced the remainder based on TRUST - you know, not assuming your patients are liars who are pretending to be unemployed. I emailed them what they'd asked for, and got this response. "I received your email in regards to the financial hardship. I have attached the form that I need completed and sent back to me with all documents needed, (etc: 3 months of bank statements, last 2 years of W-2 s, and proof of expenses). Once I receive the information I will review it to see if you qualify for financial hardship." On the attached form, they ask for SSN, nearest relative contact info, how much you spend on food, electric, clothing, etc per month, permission to verify employment, run a credit check, and release "information related to this credit experience with them" (report you to the credit agencies), etc. Apparently, this office also believes they're a proctology practice because that's a lot of information for someone who's already going through the indignity of almost a year of unemployment. I will find a way to pay but it will come at the expense of food and medicine I need, and then I will tell everyone I know never to have anything to do with these complete scumbags.

They have blacklisted my small children from any of the local doctors office because our payment was 3 months late. I paid the large balance in full after I got a call to schedule my daughter s check up. A week later I get a letter in the mail saying my children aren t welcome back. I talked to a friend who said they hadn t paid their bill in six months. Seems a little discriminatory.

* The doctor's front office thinks only their God-given time is important, not that of patients. [Aug'19] Had 3 consecutive postponements from them, because the doctor had a family emergency (understandable, after all they are humans and have families), one call had come just minutes before the appointment (that too is okay, an emergency is an emergency). I went 3 minutes late for my first appointment after driving 42 miles from work, the front office cancelled my scheduled appointment in my face, booked an appointment 2 weeks later and sent me home. The next two appointments I waited at least 25 minutes each after checking in!! Unfortunately, I can't sue them.
* [Oct '19] They charge money ($50) for providing documents requested, they can't provide a copy for patient's records, even after the doctor instructed.
* Their billing department is horrible. The invoices are not meant to be useful. Doesn't show what is the patient responsibility for each visit.
* [Sep'19] Got an invoice saying I owed them $20 from 2017, when I didn't even know which provider in their group sent it. Called them to find out. They had no clue either!
* You just can't reach them by phone. You get to leave VMs, apparently a VM just goes into some black hole.
* [Jan '20] Their portal sucks, doesn't send an email when you make an online payment, although it says "payment received, you'll receive an email", no confirmation number, no details.
* [Dec' 19] Requested a year-end statement for FSA purposes. Two calls over three weeks (read VMs left), I'm still waiting. They just can't do a simple thing correctly. They are just after your money! Find a provider somewhere else, you will live longer!!

I would prefer to give them less than 1 star. But that is not an option here.
I called in asking if they can treat my wife and explained the condition in detail. They told me that yes, just bring your wife here. (my wife was in lot of pain at this time). We ran over there and after few minutes they told us that we have to go to ER because they can't treat my wife there. On top of that they also sent us a bill for $200+ for telling my wife to go to ER. We will never visit this place again. And I recommend others to be careful in visiting this place. If possible avoid this place.

What a joke of an organization, They have banned me from all affiliated practices for contesting a bill back in 2009. One that the doctor assured me I wasn't going to get in the first place. Yes, I did end up paying them the balance.

I dont normally leave reviews but I just have to warn people of their billing department. I had an appointment that I rescheduled to the following week. I did not show up because of a family emergency. They charged me for 2 missed appointments each of $40. I tried to explain to them that I did not have two appointments back to back, but tha someone scheduled me for 2 appointments instead of rescheduling the one appointment I already had.I was fine to pay for one. Every time I called to explain the situation they were rude and kept transferring to someone else where I would leave a message and then never hear back from them. I finally paid the remaining $40 only because I was tired of getting t bill in the mail and dealing with the people that work there. I will never go back or recommend anyone to go there.

This office is always accommodating and I have been able to get in quickly when I needed to. The staff, Drs, and Nurse Practitioners are really friendly and helpful as well. The building itself is older but the staff is great!

I have been going here for over 10 years and never had one problem with billing. There is a common issue with pain management facilities and lab fees that are sent to patients but can be ignored. It s usually attributed to drug testing and lab analysis fees. Anyway, I ve had this happen, but was told to ignore the bill and all was fine.

We have both our family doctors through this practice- Pediatric Healthcare of Leesburg and Virginia Womens Health Assct. We have never received anything but the best care from both practices. My daughter loves Jan and Lori and I am willing to drive all the way out to my doctors in Reston from Leesburg because they are that good.

For the most recent example: I paid a bill mid-November when I got the bill for my wife's October visit. Now, in December, I get a bill in the mail saying the same bill is still due and the charges are late.

In recent history, my wife was notified she had not paid hundreds of dollars of bills by the healthcare provider... when everything was paid months prior.

I'm sure someone will respond saying they are very sorry and that I have to take action by calling them for them to fix their own broken business processes. This has me so irate I am going through the past years of charges because this business process cannot be this horribly broken.

I was forced to leave a great medical practice, the Comprehensive Sleep Care Center (CSCC), due to frustration over the unfriendly, unresponsive and deplorable support received from the Loudoun Medical Group (LMG). Ever since decided to move to LMG, basic understandable billing processes and basic customer service went to such terrible and unacceptable levels I was unfortunately forced to leave CCSC.

My first question now when calling a new provider is "Are you in any way affiliated with LMG?" If the answer is "Yes," I continue my search for another provider. I highly recommend you do the same.

The worst customer service and ignorance of workers compensation law. The receptionist was rude on our first contact. She proceeded to inform me I couldn t be seen without paperwork from Department of Labor even though I provided the case number. Beware of this place, unprofessional practices. I had a 12:30 appointment, sat for over 1 hour and was never seen. Then she called police and told me I would not be served, because she was ignorant about FECA law. I will tell everyone not to set foot in LMG and contact the State of VA Attorney General to lodge a formal complaint. Is it any surprise they have a 1.9 in online reviews.

I endured a very unprofessional experience yesterday with this "medical group". They broke patient confidentiality when they contacted my private psychiatrist. Then moments later lied to me about the conversation they had with him and stated that the decision to withhold my meds was by him. So I called him he said that he never said anything close to that, and lmg can do whatever they want regarding my meds. So I called lmg back and caught them red-handed in a lie. I honestly can't imagine this place being in business very long before they violate some serious code of ethics, or flat out lose their entire customer base.
