I been coming to this location for years. Due to covid -19 they only have pick up service only but I guarantee you that the pizza still at its best quality. I usually go for a deep dish with wings as appetizer and I'm never disappointed with the taste or the quality! If you want to try a tasty deep dish Chicago pizza this is your spot!

This is a top tier pizza place with 50 years if history, their butter crust deep dish is a class to itself with chunky ingredients and if you get sausage it's not pieces on the pizza but an entire layer of sausage that covers the entire pizza so no missing it in any bite, you can take pre-made pizza to throw in your oven later or they will also ship you a frozen pizza if you live far away

Buttercrust! Get the butter crust! I grew up not far from here, I've eaten Lou Malnati's probably in excess of 200x. I've never. Ever. Never-ever! Had anything less that amazing pizza here. I've dreamt about this place when I was in the army, station on an island a zillion miles away. Fantastic pizza. Period.

Ya gotta love any deep dish pizza place that puts, basically, an entire sausage pancake on top of the pie.
Everything is good here, other than the inevitable weight gain that accompanies the ingestion of all of the ingredients that your doctor says to avoid....all at once!

FOOD was great, starting with Malnati's salad and an order of Bruschetta. Pizza was Malnati's Chicago Classic: mozzarella, sausage and crushed tomatoes layered on their butter crust. All was done well. SERVICE was adequate, our wait person took our order promptly, and served our salad and pizza courses. Water service was a little slow. BATHROOM was in basement and was not as clean as I wanted.

I'm only rating the Pizza just because, well it's a pizza joint and I just expect great pizza. I am a true gourmet when it comes to making and baking pizza. This place maybe the best in the country. A++++++

Delicious pizza! I've always been partial to their deep dish. But, the last time we were there, they had samples of their thin crust at the hostess station. Pleasantly surprised! One person in our party doesn't like deep sush, so usually orders a pasta, ended up getting the thin crust & really liked it!

Had a life celebration for my husband there. Was his favorite 'go to' place! 80 people showed up and the food, service and atmosphere was great! It was our 'family needs a time out place' for many years, and will remain to be just that!

I have only been here once, so it could have been a one-off fluke, but I found the deep dish pizza to be painfully average. That's not to say it was bad, it just didn't live up to the hype surrounding the Lou Malnati's name.

Amazingly, this was my first time here, after living in Rogers Park for 50 years!
Pizza was wonderful! You must order buttercrust for the full effect. True "Chicago Style", thicker crust than thin, yet not too deep. So crispy! Transcendent!
We had the calamari to start, and it was the best I have eaten in life. Perfectly fried, tender and the sauce is home made.
Sorry I waited so long to come here!

Best deep dish pizza ever!! Its addictive, gotta have it whenever I get to Illinois, even ordered it online once. It's very expensive to have shipped, and you can't get the buttered crust, but still so yummy!

One of my favorite Chicago pizzas in well... all of Chicago. The Crust is flaky, buttery, biscuits, and overall phenomenal, the toppings and cheese are of the finest quality, and the sauce is for better words "boss" it is sweet, chunky, and makes the pizza come together. I would recommend Lou Malnati's to anyone.

I visited Lou Malnati's back on June 13th this summer. I figured I'd go numero uno, the original location, to see what Chicago Deep Dish is like for the first time! I used to work in pizza for five years, and I'm avid fan of Detroit-style, pan crust. Andy and Maria were both hospitable servers to a fellow in his first weekend outing in Chicago and made me feel at home. The portions for the garlic bread and caesar salad were well more than enough for two people! I love huge portions for the price! I then ordered a variety of toppings on a small, deep-dish, buttercrust pizza (Pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, and ham with extra cheese), and as soon as they brought it to the table, my only response was "This is a small?!?". I could barely eat two slices after the appetizers and salad. They do not kid around when they say a small, Chicago-pan pizza can feed 2-3 people; it's like a hearty pie and a well-balanced meal for the starving! In fact, the pizza was so delicious, I almost called my ex-boss, a Detroit native, to break the bad news that there IS a superior pizza to his and Detroit's! I can't wait for the day that I have an excuse to come up to Chicago, because the first thing I'm doing once I get there is grabbing a deep dish pie from Lou Malnati's in Lincolnwood. Nothing beats one of the original deep-dish recipes of Chicago! You guys rock!
