Wow! The pizza had me in the first bite. Be prepared to wait 45mins for food though.

Love their pizza and the location. Staff`is very friendly. I like that I can order while I wait for my table, that way it's an easier wait.
Lovely atmosphere, clean, tidy, delicious food. Would love to eat here everyday.
Lous mal natis salad with dressing..love at first bite does exist!
The best Chicago style pizza. I tired them all but Lou is the best there is, period.
As always pizzarific!!!! Ate lunch before leaving chicago and bought 7 frozen pizza to take back in MD. All in a hand carry luggage what more can I say.. The BEST PIZZA. Misson completed.
I been coming to this location for years. Due to covid -19 they only have pick up service only but I guarantee you that the pizza still at its best quality. I usually go for a deep dish with wings as appetizer and I'm never disappointed with the taste or the quality! If you want to try a tasty deep dish Chicago pizza this is your spot!
Ordered a thin crust pizza which turned out super crunchy similar to toast and the spinach lasagna was just alright!
Great pizza, great staff and pretty good service.
pizza was good. did carry out was told 30 minuets ended up being an hour.
They the best for deep dish they got the best sausage deep dish pizza they never disappoint
This is a top tier pizza place with 50 years if history, their butter crust deep dish is a class to itself with chunky ingredients and if you get sausage it's not pieces on the pizza but an entire layer of sausage that covers the entire pizza so no missing it in any bite, you can take pre-made pizza to throw in your oven later or they will also ship you a frozen pizza if you live far away
Best original Chicago style deep-dish pizza out there!
Buttercrust! Get the butter crust! I grew up not far from here, I've eaten Lou Malnati's probably in excess of 200x. I've never. Ever. Never-ever! Had anything less that amazing pizza here. I've dreamt about this place when I was in the army, station on an island a zillion miles away. Fantastic pizza. Period.
Ya gotta love any deep dish pizza place that puts, basically, an entire sausage pancake on top of the pie.
Everything is good here, other than the inevitable weight gain that accompanies the ingestion of all of the ingredients that your doctor says to avoid....all at once!
NO1 Chicago Pizza place for sure!
Great customer service and good price with fantastic size.
Good experience and nostalgic for going to the original Lou's location. Service was swift and people were extremely friendly.
Friendly and great customer service, the thin crust pizza is Def better than Lou's deep dish pizza
FOOD was great, starting with Malnati's salad and an order of Bruschetta. Pizza was Malnati's Chicago Classic: mozzarella, sausage and crushed tomatoes layered on their butter crust. All was done well. SERVICE was adequate, our wait person took our order promptly, and served our salad and pizza courses. Water service was a little slow. BATHROOM was in basement and was not as clean as I wanted.
Ordered a small meat and a large vegetable only. Both were very good. The place could use a cleaning but the food did not disappoint.
Tara, our server was really awesome, food at this location is always great, but this server made the meal exceptional!!! Thanks!!!
Best DeepDish around! All about the Crust.
LOVE the Malnati Salad - LG feeds 6 easily with 2nd helpings for some.
What can I say... if there were 100 stars it would get 100 stars ..Best pizza ever
Ordered one of the famous pies and was less than imorssed; didn't live up to the hype as expected. Food was good but not over the top amazing.
I'm only rating the Pizza just because, well it's a pizza joint and I just expect great pizza. I am a true gourmet when it comes to making and baking pizza. This place maybe the best in the country. A++++++
I love this deep dish pizza! I cannot get anything like this where I'm from. This was the very first in this restaurant chain and had lots of very interesting and cool memorabilia on the walls.
Best Deep Dish in Chicago, hands down. I've tried them all and Lou is my favorite. The crust is always crisp, the sauce is chunky and the ingredients are fresh.
Great deep dish pizza. Combo appetizer was the best.
Excellent food, staff, and atmosphere. Chicago tradition!
There are so many really good pizzerias available nowadays that Lou's isn't that special anymore. Still good though.
Almost to at the top but some work with technology making have to be done
Delicious pizza! I've always been partial to their deep dish. But, the last time we were there, they had samples of their thin crust at the hostess station. Pleasantly surprised! One person in our party doesn't like deep sush, so usually orders a pasta, ended up getting the thin crust & really liked it!
Love their Chicago style pizza with a family size side salad. Gotta get the butter crust and slab sausage. Very friendly staff.
Our favorite location because of very friendly staff.
Our service was tremendous, the pizza is above average and it's a quaint looking building. Pit it on you bucket list of Chicago standards but keep an open mind.
This was my son and mine's first foray into Chicago style pizza and we were not disappointed. Great atmosphere and very good food.
Had a life celebration for my husband there. Was his favorite 'go to' place! 80 people showed up and the food, service and atmosphere was great! It was our 'family needs a time out place' for many years, and will remain to be just that!
Awesome pizza. The wait to cook the pizza is a bit long, only because it's deep dish, but worth the wait.
The best Pizza in the World. We moved 400 miles away and have pizzas sent to us. Whenever we are in the area we buy frozen pizzas and take them home.
I have only been here once, so it could have been a one-off fluke, but I found the deep dish pizza to be painfully average. That's not to say it was bad, it just didn't live up to the hype surrounding the Lou Malnati's name.
Amazingly, this was my first time here, after living in Rogers Park for 50 years!
Pizza was wonderful! You must order buttercrust for the full effect. True "Chicago Style", thicker crust than thin, yet not too deep. So crispy! Transcendent!
We had the calamari to start, and it was the best I have eaten in life. Perfectly fried, tender and the sauce is home made.
Sorry I waited so long to come here!
First-time visitor to this venerated establishment. Absolutely loved the deep dish pizza could only eat one slice. The salad was fresh and delicious. The tiramisu was light fluffy and delicious!
Best deep dish pizza ever!! Its addictive, gotta have it whenever I get to Illinois, even ordered it online once. It's very expensive to have shipped, and you can't get the buttered crust, but still so yummy!
Great food, enjoyed especially the meat pizza and ceasar salad.
Great waiter , everything Went well ,masks spacing ,
The food was good, but the crust in the gluten free pizza and was hard and a but difficult to eat.
Always visit when we're in town! Most delicious Chicago-style pizza! YUM
The Lou's salad and deep dish pizza were amazing. Had no trouble accommodating our larger party of 7 people
The pizza is made with stewed tomatoes instead of pizza sauce, not my favorite.
Wow!
Salad in the house specialty.
Delicious,and just perfect.
Great pizza and great hospitality. I'm from out of town but would definitely go again when I make it back to Chicago.
Pizza was burnt and wait time for curbside was extended.. and pizza was smaller than ordered but by the time we got home.. it was too late to turn around and no one was picking up when we called. Saturday evening about 8:30 pm.
One of my favorite Chicago pizzas in well... all of Chicago. The Crust is flaky, buttery, biscuits, and overall phenomenal, the toppings and cheese are of the finest quality, and the sauce is for better words "boss" it is sweet, chunky, and makes the pizza come together. I would recommend Lou Malnati's to anyone.
Carry out, a couple frozen pizzas. Phoned ahead. Excellent curbside service.
The smell when you walk in was horrible please fumigate . Also the staff need work. Buss boy asked me if I want my water like if it was a prosion rule my waiter was great Jeremiah . Other then that 2 stars for wait staff rest is great .
Simply the best food in the area as well as waitstaff.
I visited Lou Malnati's back on June 13th this summer. I figured I'd go numero uno, the original location, to see what Chicago Deep Dish is like for the first time! I used to work in pizza for five years, and I'm avid fan of Detroit-style, pan crust. Andy and Maria were both hospitable servers to a fellow in his first weekend outing in Chicago and made me feel at home. The portions for the garlic bread and caesar salad were well more than enough for two people! I love huge portions for the price! I then ordered a variety of toppings on a small, deep-dish, buttercrust pizza (Pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, and ham with extra cheese), and as soon as they brought it to the table, my only response was "This is a small?!?". I could barely eat two slices after the appetizers and salad. They do not kid around when they say a small, Chicago-pan pizza can feed 2-3 people; it's like a hearty pie and a well-balanced meal for the starving! In fact, the pizza was so delicious, I almost called my ex-boss, a Detroit native, to break the bad news that there IS a superior pizza to his and Detroit's! I can't wait for the day that I have an excuse to come up to Chicago, because the first thing I'm doing once I get there is grabbing a deep dish pie from Lou Malnati's in Lincolnwood. Nothing beats one of the original deep-dish recipes of Chicago! You guys rock!
