Always a classic. My go-to pizza whenever I m in Chicago. I get the pepperoni, personally as the one issue I have here is with their sausage. It overpowers the pizza and is crumbly. Their crust however is delicious and buttery and makes the meal.

Lou's was ok. They are always really cool about accommodating our group of loud musicians the last day of sectionals on a Friday. I always get the personal cheese cause everyone else likes meat on their pizza. The servers are pretty nice. Even the patrons are good about us being loud and obnoxious and swearing around their kids. Haha! That's not funny. No complaints here.

Great authentic deep dish Chicago pizza. Two restaurant sides, one by the bar and the other in the dining room. Fun American football theme. Easy parking. The waiters try to turn the tables quite fast, just dont let them rush you. Enjoy!

Average service, longer than average wait time, good gluten free pizza. We used the app to order on a Monday night and it took over 30 minutes to receive 3 small pizzas. The gluten free crust was good, but the price tag is high ($50+ for 3 small pizzas).

Great food and service! We had thin crust pizza, chicken nuggets & fries, and the mini cheese burger & fruit. Tracy was our waitress, she was attentive and added to our great experience. Would definitely recommend!

The best Italian food I've had! The service was amazing. The portion sizes are massive, so definitely share meals. Pizza was sooooooo delicious. I will definitely visit here when I am in Chicago again!

The food is great. Always tasty and high quality.

The food is great. Always tasty and high quality.
Service is lacking. After being seated, no one checked on our party for 15 minutes. After ordering, drinks took another 10 minutes for our party of 6.
When appetizers arrived, we had no plates. No one came by again so I grabbed a set from the neighboring empty table
When our salad arrived, we still hadn't been offered water. For our 2 hour meal, we were offered napkins or the like. No one stopped by our table.
We ordered spaghetti as well as pizza. The pizza was served but no sign of the pasta. 15 minutes passed before we could flag someone down to inquire about the spaghetti. Server obviously didn't acknowledge he forgot to put order in to the kitchen and instead disappeared for 15 minutes. We could see him hanging out at the bar, chatting with co-workers. Didn't stop by until the pasta was finally served.
Didn't bring plates for the pasta.
After the check was dropped off, we had our payment out for another 10 minutes. Half our party left since they could no longer wait. Server finally picks up check. Upon returning, quickly says "Sorry about that". Sorry about what? Which part?
Upon leaving, we encountered 6 staff members conversing. None acknowledge or thank us on our way out.
Just a truly forgettable experience. Can no longer recommend this location. Go to the Ravenswood location instead.

Lou's is a Chicago Staple, and this one is definitely good. Occasionally service staff handling to go orders can be a little off putting if you dont use the to Go entrance.... Get the buttercrust.

Excellent food, as well as service. There was about a thirty minute wait for our pizza, but that's to be expected. Well worth the price you pay, as it's some of the best Chicago deep dish I've had! It definitely stays true to it's reputation and should be on your list if you're headed to Chicago!

The original and still the best! The sausage deep dish is always great. Salad with Creamy garlic dressing is a favorite as is the house red wine vinaigrette. We never make it to dessert, always too stuffed with pizza.

This is one of my favorite places to go for do dish pizza! The crust is magnificent and crunchy and the red sauce is pleasantly sweet. My favorite is deep dish sausage with tomatoes on top but you can't go wrong with anything. The Malnati salad is also delicious!

I'm not a huge Chicago pizza fan (other than "The Lou" of course!), but this place is great. From the staff, the decor and the building in general. I pass by several other Lou's driving up from the city to get to this location. The best!
