I have been here plenty of times, mainly for carryouts. Their service is always quick and the pizza is always done on time. I absolutely love their thin crust pizza and it is always made fresh. I don't think I have ever had any issues with this place. If I recall, my dine in experience was also great, but just a bit of a wait on the service. Other than that, great pizza place to go to when wanting pizza!

We come to Chicago periodically for karate tournaments from St. Louis, but I guarantee you were can not leave your city without visiting Lou Malnati's for a traditional deep dish Chicago style pizza. It is my husband's absolute favorite and this time certainly did not disappoint. Our server was wonderful and courteous and the food was great!

Cant get enough of that butter crust. Me and my family were die-hard giordanos pizza lovers but this place has the best crust we've ever had. Great customer service and family friendly atmosphere keeps us coming back! Recommend to everyone. Worth the drive.

This is the best deep fish in Chicago or the world. Medium cheese extra tomato garlic butter crust un cut. What could be better? From the original Lou Malnatis in Lincolnwood IL. By far no comparison in the world. Get a deep dish and go to culinary pizza heaven

I didn t understand the fuss over Chicago deep dish until now. I m an official convert but stick to Lou Malnados and stay away from the chains. This is a multigenerational family owned place that also happens to be world famous. DO NOT DIE WITHOUT HAVING EATEN HERE!

Yesterday we went to this pizzeria for dinner.

Yesterday we went to this pizzeria for dinner.
We arrived and asked quickly for both an appetiser and a deep dish pizza, since we know this kind of pizza takes around 45min (which is fine and worth it).
However, after having sat there for a bit over 20min, without even having gotten our appetiser, the waiter came over and told us he d forgotten to put in our order. Our toddler was already asking for food, and I told the waiter and he said he ll send some bread. Bread and butter. Seriously? Well, we got the bread and that s it. Then we got our bruschetta, and later our pizza, which as always, it was good. We were disappointed because of the service, baby was full on bread, and didn t even eat pizza.
Our bill arrived, and not even the bruschetta was complimentary. I think the waiter did poorly, and didn t make sure to bring something quickly for us. I m sure he didn t tell any of his superiors about the situation. Waiter was male, and with tattoos on his right arm, and he was taking care of the left hand side of the restaurant tables. There was only another woman as a waitress but she was on the other side. We don t remember his name.

EDIT: I NEVER heard back from them. They didn t care to fix this issue. I see they reply to bad reviews like they did in mine. I wonder if they really get back to anyone.

We booked Lou's party room for a large group. The catering group at Lou's was very responsive and made things as easy as possible for us. What was really refreshing was the staff at Lou's - Lincolnwood. Mike the manager we worked with and Maria (our server) were helpful, pleasant and well - you could tell they do this for a living. ;) Thank you Lou's for a great night!
