Amazing game viewing. Can highly recommend it to anyone wanting a luxury safari with all the trimmings and good sightings
Amazing private game park; easily saw all big five in natural settings.
Awesome place with the most pleasant people to guide you around just amazing!!! You'll love it!!
Smallest lodge of SKUKUZA camp with only 6 55m2 individual villas with private spa.
They are the good example of great service and they are creating jobs for the local communities
Work related disappointment . Lol . However understandable.
The "5 Bigs", the Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and the Elephant, are the most dangerous and difficult animals to hunt, iconic African safari species that live in protected areas, with controlled and supervised hunting seasons in private reserves Known as Game Reserve among them Mala Mala, Umbabat, Timbavati, Klaserie, Manyeleti, with luxury lodges with the all-inclusive system, with fully equipped professional hunters that includes the provision of weapons. But the prices are high and there is even a fee for each animal killed and although they are on the periphery of the Kruger National Park, they share the fauna because the animals know no borders.
the one, one star review must have been a mistake. Truly Awesome
Trip of a lifetime
A Safari and gastric adventure
When you travel to Africa, the highlight of your trip and what most people visit for are the safaris and see the animals in the wild instead of watching it on the Discovery Channel. For me, I mainly came for the cuisine and the safari, and I got a fantastic mixture of both. I did my research to see what I would like to do, and how I would like to do it. The most famous game park in South Africa was Kruger National Park which receives millions of tourists every year. When I read into, I saw the restrictions about what you could or could not do while in the park. Then I read about Sabi Sand, the neighbor to Kruger, except that it was a private reserve, with no restrictions like the Kruger Park had. The private reserve was a chance to be one on one with nature, and to also do it in luxury. My only decision now was to choose one of sixteen lodges on the private reserve, which also included one that was owned by Richard Branson. After careful review, I chose Leopard Hills Lodge.
Leopard Hills was just outstanding, the entire experience is well worth the money, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to South Africa and planning to do a safari. Avoid the tourist trap known as Kruger National
Park and all of its crazy rules. See a real safari and enjoy five star services all the way. Leopard hills, you will see me again. you can read my full review by visiting the wine, dine, and Play blog, under the blog archives for January 2014, follow the link for The Leopard Hills Lodge, their are many pictures and video's to watch.
The Rangers are that patrol the area are well trained such that you even feel safe when you meet them on the roads
Great adventure, thrill seekers, nature lovers, this is the place to be. A different set of life, a whole new view of the world. Sure the heat might be a little irritating but, hey, you wouldn't be thinking about it if there's a big ass lion in front of you!
Love this game reserve, you can find the big five animals in close distance
I was a part of a different lion pride, but I ended up being moved to Sabi Sands
Love this place. Great food. Great staff. Great Lions, Chetah, Deer , Zebra, Wild Boar, Bison, Alligator, Giraffe . We will see everyone from handshaking distance in their own territory. They will thrill you
I stayed in the villa with my family. It was huge and one of the most luxurious suites I've ever stayed in. Our ranger was excellent and we saw all of the Big 5 on our first game drive. This was my first visit to the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. It is now one of my favourite safari destinations. The wildlife encounters are especially close and the game viewing experience is fulfilling. The kids loved the playroom too.
Private Game Reserve - home to some of the finest lodges in South Africa such as Sabi Sabi, Singita, Ulusaba, Londolozi and many more.
Out of this world safari experience in the Sabi Sands game reserve. We flew into the private airstrip (Ulusaba) which was an incredibly unique experience. We stayed at Dulini lodge which was magnificent. The wildlife and game we were able to see and experience in the Sabi Sands was beyond our wildest dreams, we are so fortunate to have had such close encounters with such a variety of animals.
Inside Sabi Sands, we were in Mala Mala. Magnificent reserve To inflate you to see leopards and, of course, the other 4 big
This was amazing. We saw all the big 5 animals and the guides were fun and very knowledgeable.
This area is really cool and I saw a lot of cool things. Too bad I didn t see Lions though :/
We saw a lot of animals such as black, tigers, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, wildebeest, antelopes, zebra, hippopotamus, rhinoceros, monkeys, wild boar, mongoose and many species of birds and reptiles.
This place is actually a private Preserve and offers lovely safari rides with lodging and boarding. The sightseeing is just amazing with wonderful, including safari rides in the park with Lions, Zebras and Rhinos. Amazing stay in the cottages, quality food is served to the quests. Great place. Surrounding views were very special since watching the animals very closely, capturing the special moments in the camera.
Very good nature reserve, big five and many antelopes
Amazing animals, amazing food, and amazing accomodations. Get the Presidential suite and your own guide and ranger. What an awesome experience
Definitely one of the best safari destinations in the world absolutely outrageous luxury
Actually amazing. I saw all of the big 5 in just two drives, plus a cheetah on my third drive. The service at my Lodge was amazing. I already want to go back, and I only left yesterday.
Great variety of game. We saw all of the big 5 plus some. Excellent experience.
Best time ever. Saw so many animals and the guide was so helpful and knowing
A major issue is the Sabi Sands land has 'invisible' boundaries over which their lodges / rangers have no access: they cannot follow animals into adjacent Malamala (another game reserve within Kruger) or Manyeleti's land. This means Sabi Sands drivers are frustrated as they track / search for game. And likewise the Malamala and Manyeketi drivers cannot cross into Sabi Sands space. Crazy At least the animals can roam over the three pieces of land and indeed into the main Kruger Park's space. This is something you don't know until you get there.
Have seen the "Big Five" within two days !! An absolute highlight - great camp !!
Absolutely stunning...game viewing incredible...our guide was the best...a truly magical experience!
Experiencing a drought but still a decent amount of animals.
we did a 4 day safari with tydon safaris staying at their bush camp. it was an awesome experience going on a morning and afternoon game drive. we saw leopards, rhinoceros, elephants, monkeys, warthogs, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and lots more. would recommend sabi sands as the drivers can go off road as soon as they hear about a sighting.
Incredible reserve and amazing lodges. All the lodges we visited and saw all are in a class of their own. SABI sabi is a 5* venue and holiday / getaway
Fantastic game reserve with many amazing lodges and good safari experiences.

Live...life...enjoyment...happiness...wonderful place,come n see 4urself !!!!u wont regret it!!!
advice is to opt for leopard hills lodge- mixture of cuisine and safari and luxury. being a saffa myself, SABI is a lifetime activity all must try
It has all the luxurious bedroom suits and delicious food...
Amazing in every way like a dream I wish I was back there
Excellent reserve. We stayed at idube and had a wonderful experience. Reserves work very well together.
Preserved nature and respected animals! Very good lodge and friendly and very competent guides!
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve offers the best big 5 game viewing with the highest population of leopards in South Africa.
Beautiful rivers flowing through the reserve gives the reserve a fantastic African lowveld look.
The lodges situated in the reserve is from the highest standard.
Had a wonderful time. Was great to photograph a leopard catching a impala and then running up a tree from Hyenas right in front of you.
You want to experience the wildlife in style but in a true natural way? The place offers a piece of mind and refreshing at the same time. The staff..
Every year via Nat Geo, I would vacation there in a heartbeat! Peter is following elephants right now. Its Big Cat Week, btw. I love critters in the wild. Thanks Guys!
Our family has just returned from a magestic holiday at Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve. The total experience was amazing. We had a very knowledgable ranger who went over and beyond for our group to see as much as possible when out on safari. The lodge was an extremely lovely place to stay with friendly staff who could not do enough for the guests. Accomodation was extremely comfortable and clean. A big thank you to Duane our ranger for giving us a memorable holiday and one we will always cherish. We highly recommend the Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve to anyone considering a safari trip.
