Lovely zoo /park ,clean and animals looked well looked after. Very good parrot show ,downside didn't understand a word, all in Spanish. Must see the killer whales and dolphins! AVOID. 'THE DISCOVERY TOUR ' it's a lot of money for looking at the parks water filtration systems !

Absolutely AMAZING!! We also booked a behind the scenes tour to really find out about animal welfare, conservation and ethos of the owners. We also had priority seating for the shows.
I highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Great zoo with beautiful whales and dolphin shows. But it is mostly just parrots. And once you've seen a few cages of parrots you've seen them all. Very repetitive

I absolutely loved it. It was incredible, I especially loved the orca and the dolphins show and I especially loved seeing my favourite white tiger. Loro parque is amazing.

Fantastic day out would definitely recommend this for anyone. Loads of hills if your disabled and have walking difficulties like me it will be hard work. Okay if you have a mobility scooter easy access to everything.

Amazing. This place is great.

Okay, so we caught the free loro parque bus from near our hotel (runs every 10-15 minutes). Takes roughly 10 minutes to get there. I will advise purchasing a ticket before hand.. 35 euros each per adult.
On entry you can buy 1 euro loro parque hats (might aswell). They offer a variety of animal shows throughout the day at different intervals e.g dolphin shows, sea lion shows, Orca shows (killer whales), bird shows.. it's amazing. They also have a "Penguin world" filled with (you guessed it) penguins! They also have a pretty cool aquarium and a section where they have a tunnel with sharks and such swimming over head. There are many animals in the park.. gorillas, alligators, white tigers, panthers, flamingos, ant eaters (just to name a few).

Staff are very friendly, most of the signs and announcements are in several different languages which is very helpful.

Honestly, if recommend going if you get a chance.. I wish I could upload the videos I have here, if you are going to be in Tenerife you might aswell complete your holiday experience and come down.

A marvellous zoo in a park-like setting. The penguin area is huge with at least 4 different types of penguins. They are enclosed with snow falling regularly and lots of water to swim in so you can see them both above and below water. Same for the hippos.
The jaguar had recently given birth with 2 of the cutest babies with her at all times.
Hundreds of birds and the Orca and dolphin shows are magical.
Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely place great for all ages, very clean, discovery tour is great as it's booked in your language get to go behind the scenes of the whales and gorilla parts. We had the premium book through tui, which gave you specific seating in the shows for best views. Would return again.

Absolutely brilliant shows the orcas, dolphins were amazing but the sea lions were my favorites nxt to the chimps I could of watched them all day highly recommend a visit if in Tenerife.

Animals here are in good condition than most park I have ever been. The place is clean and environmental friendly. An amazing park to spend time for both kids and adults. Great hospitality from their staff members.

This park is a must visit if you are going for holiday in Tenerife. Around an hour drive from Las Americas, we stop along the way to take pictures from high ground...
This is a big park, bring water with you because you will get thirsty as you walk around the park. Don't miss Sea Lion show, also Whale/Orca show, very entertaining!
Come early in the morning if you are driving, as very limited car park!

We had a great time at Loro Parque, its not the biggest place but we focused on the shows we wanted to see and then fitted other stuff round this. If going you should make a point in seeing whale show, dolphin show, sealion show and the penguins. We also enjoyed the walk through the treetops where we met various birds!

Worth a visit if you are in tenerife!!

Fantastic place to go for the day, must get there early to get parking space. The park was great really clean and no rubbish anywhere. Lots of things to do to many to mention but we did enjoy penguin world, whale show the dolphin show and the sealion show. You can spend all day there. We spent 9 am to 6 pm and we enjoyed every moment. Well worth a visit.

An excellent day out for everyone. We got there at 8.45 and left around 5.45. During the morning the animals are wide awake, however during the afternoon they do enjoy the afternoon sun.

We managed to watch the shows several times and each time they were different which was interesting. What made our day was watching the killer whale show. If you don't mind being splashed sit near the front.

In addition to the shows the park has a good collection of animals which all seem to be very happy.

Great day out for all. Make sure you pick up a map on your way in so you can plan your day and get to see all the shows. Lots of eating places at reasonable prices

Haven't been here for many years but it is absolutely worth a visit. I am a big fan of parrots so it was like a dream for me to visit the park.

The best Zoo in the world, as the ads say. Truly an amazing experience. Be sure to work out your schedule so you get to see all the shows offered by the park.

An amazing park which has so much to see you need a full day to see everything. The whole place is welcoming; there are lots of places to eat, plenty of wc and recycling bins everywhere. It's clear that conservation is important and the animals are very happy.

Great outing for the family I suggest the tour guide and upgrade to premium or Gold your you get lunch and better seating positions at the animal shows

FANTASTIC, animals are kept in great conditions and seem happy.

Such an amazing place. Quite expensive at 38 for an adult but the park is very clean with lots of animals to see which are well looked after. The shows were amazing and it is clear the animals enjoy working with and for their trainers. Very hilly inside so wear sensible footwear.

Loved the sea lion, dolphin and orca shows. Each were entertaining and educational at the same time. The penguin enclosure was very well thought out too. Plenty of fun for the whole family, we easily spent around 5 hours there. Parking is a bit tricky if you don't arrive first thing in the morning but there's plenty of opportunities around if you don't mind a little walking.

Kids liked it but i couldnt help thinking it eas cruel keeping killer whales abd dolphins in such confined spaces. Preferred seeing them in the wild on our whale watching trip!

I loved the shows with the sea lions, orcas, and dolphins! I was in tears of joy, emotion and empathy!

Really good place to visit with an amazing game of animals in extremely good environments. The staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the facilities very clean and well maintained.

Great park! The behind the scenes tour was fab! I love the conservationist and animal first attitude. Also the park was clean and eco friendly in everyway I could think of. We had a brilliant day- worth every cent!

Watch the documentary 'blackfish' or clips about the orca Keto they keep. Ive been to this park and if I had gotten informed I would never have gone there. Horrible what happend to the orcas.

Sea animals were extremely interesting: sea lions, orcas, medusa's & delphines. Reserve 4h+ for your visit.

Loro park is very nice . I loved the dolphin show was beautiful and interactive. They had also parrots show, sea lions show. Penguins with atmosphere like in cold.They have free face painting and very nice play ground for children

Great place to spend a day with kids. The staff is very professional and the animals are very well cared. Free access with many buses or the little yellow train from Plaza de los Reyes in Puerto de la Cruz. Many good food options inside. Definitely a must!

Best zoo I've seen so far. Very old trees, great vegetation. Lots of animals also nice parrot, dolphin and sea lion shows. Must see on Tenerife in my opinion. The spaghetti we had in one of the restaurants was twrrible, but hey.. you come for the zoo :)

A great day out, so much to see and prices for food is expensive when you are inside the park

Amazingly green and lush, the parrots and love birds are so cute and loud. You have to see the meerkats and tiger. Quite a lot of eateries too. The park itself is not that big, but really pretty and somewhat therapeutic.

They let far to many people in at a time you can tell the whole thing is about profit. They've started brining in more environmentally friendly shows for education which is good but yet they're not fully recycling waste on site. I'm not denying the staff care for the animals because by the look of it they do but the facilities for most of the animals are far to small whe whole thing is just wrong. I don't believe animals should be kept in captivity but if they must it should be a safari park. I won't be going back

This place is nothing but a guantanamo bay for its Orcas. So sad that these beautiful creatures are kept in squalid conditions and used to do cheap tricks to the paying public for dead fish. There are much better things to do and spend your money on than propping this hell hole up. Nothing worse than seeing a mother and daughter separated and the mother despirately trying to get to her daughter in a tiny pool. This is just Seaworld on vacation. Please stay away.

Amazing zoo, I've parked a point down due to the cruel treatment of the dolphins and orkas. However this part of the park is easily avoidable.

Beautiful place to visit for the whole family. Plenty of places to grab some food inside as well, reasonably priced. Lots to see. Includes live animal shows. Also it shows how they help the environment and how contribution from people could help too. 5/5

One of the best place to go and see while discovering stunning exotic animals...Opened all year round

I think that the park is over hyped. We booked a day thinking it would last a good few hours but found that within an hour we had seen most of the parks animals. I don't know why but I thought it would be bigger and contained more animals. More

Absolutely Amazing. We spent Our Daughter's BDay in it. She got a big surprise by the dolphins' staff. She did a turnaround of the pool trained by the dolphin and followed by three of them jumping in acrobatic dives.At the end one of them bring her a beautiful red flower as present and then others dancing for her around the small boat. It's a must to visit once in Puerto de la Cruz...don't miss it. Others attraction are: parrots show (so funny), Orca's show, Sea lions show, penguin's pavilion, jelly fish pavilion, Tree tops arena (free birds inside), The Aquarium (wonderful) and much more. Unuseful to tell you our daughter expression on her face about the surprise and the experience...Go and experience the park

Brilliant place. Plenty to do and see. The shows were excellent. Food expensive so take your own. Gifts were over priced.

Please do not attend this park, Orca are not ment to be in captivity! Killer whales in captivity live significantly shorter life spans of around 14 years on avarge vs in the wild between 30-50 years for males and females living up to 100! The vast majority of captive orcas have collapsed dorsal fins which is a sign of a unhealthy or injured orca, where as in the wild it s extremely uncommon. Orcas are the apex predator of the sea not a parade performer, I have attended Loro park when I was younger and didn t know about the awful effects it has on the animals, please don t support the humiliation and maltreatment of theys beautiful creatures I urge u strongly to watch black fish and begin to learn how truly neglectful parks like Loro park and sea world are to such beautiful creatures.

Awesome fun for everbody! Best way to visit is double ticket for Loro and Siam Park which is cheaper than two single tickets.

Great day out. Quite a big zoo so allow 3 to hours to get around. The dolphin and the Orca shows are brilliant, much better than the sea world, Orlando show. Really delighted that they have a Sloth and Gorillas. All the animals look extremely well looked after and the keepers talk with genuine concern and care for them.
The choices of food for vegetarians was quite poor though. The only thing that I saw was a cheese sandwich which was already being feasted upon by fly's and was pushed right up against a ham sandwich.

This place is a must go when visiting Tenerife and the dual pass for Siam park is excellent value , the shows are fantastic and there's loads to do great for families and couples alike

It is a good Zoo, it really is. I give - 1 Star for the underwhelming food (only the bocadillos are okay plus i dont have tried the a la carte Restaurant) and minus 1 Star for having an unwanted Merchandising sticker on my car every time I go there.

It is a wonderful park very Well maintained for a park of such size. Everything in the park is nice From the grand entrance to the Lovely animals, Regular shows during the days, and i was surprise how busy it was but still we found places in all of the shows. They have more than enough to keep you busy for the whole day specially if you are into photos and selfies you get millions of chances and every images you take looks better than previous. And for Dolphin Show DO NOT MISS at any cost if you are in the park (we went for both in the same day)and it has bit of the parrots cameo as well. Word of advice, before you go do some research and plan which shows you are Attending and when saves alot time when you are there.

In 4 hours you can have a trip of the entire park watching also all the animal shows. The park is not so big and there are mainly parrots than other animal species. It is claimed to be one of the best zoo park in the Europe but for me rates in the average.

Good family day out. If you have a picnic there's only one area to eat which means walking past all the restaurants and cafes to a small seating area where you'll have to wait for a table to become free. Not sure of the ethics of whales and dolphins etc in captivity but they claim to educate people about the animals and the environment and at least some of the animals have been rescued e.g. a deaf whale who lost her family and couldn't be reunited.

It's a little crowded but really fun and interesting, the animals are beautiful and they try to rescue and help all this different creatures not to be extinguished, they already managed to have to baby orcas and a dolphin baby

Excellent shows the park is emaculate animals lookbwell cared for a great day out for whole family!

A very enjoyable day was had here we went for the guided tour experience which included lunch. The only downside was that we could not find the restaurant where we were suppose to have lunch that was very disappointing.

Lots of animals that seem well looked after. As name suggests, lots of parrots. Food was good and there's lots of choice. Lots of gift shops too. Wasn't a fan of the dolphin show - seems cruel to keep dolphins in captivity and make them do tricks. Same with the orca show but I didn't watch that.

The zoo itself is not that big but it's worth visiting all the shows!

Enjoyed this zoo very much. It is not huge and does not have the biggest collection of mammals, but it is very nicely structured and looks beautiful (and also clean). The shows they do with the animals are very spectacular and amusing, but also informative. Especially since they try to raise a lot of awareness for the environmental threats to the animals. The diversity of birds is impressive. Downsides: you pay 4 euro for parking (on top of the entrance fee of 37 euro) and the food in the restaurants is expensive and of low quality.

Expensive zoo with small cages and spaces for animals. Especially the marine animals. And there are so many penguins in a small space. Ok it might be preservation, but the orcas?

The food choices are poor and expensive too and it feels claustrophobic with the maze like environment. It gets crowded easily.

Objectively Pairi Daiza in Belgium is a better zoo, so I don't understand why TripAdvisor says they are the European's best.

Loro park is amazing. The shows are the best I have ever seen u watch the dolphins, ocres sea lions and the parrots all in one day.

Totally worth it.. You can spend all day! And you should gat the discover tour for 11 per person!
