I strongly recommend visiting Loro Parque!
We spent a full day and loved every single thing about it!
Excellent. Well worth a visit. We didn't visit either the whale show or the dolphin show, never comfortable with these....however the zoo is superb and the animals are well looked after. Would highly recommend.
A lovely experience to see a large variety of animals. Definitely worth planning your day around the shows though as they really do make the experience, both entertaining and informative. Food is quite expensive so would recommend taking in your own food and drink.
A must visit for families. It is an amazing day out for kids with plenty of entertainment and adventures. Do some planning at the entrance to ensure you get to the shows you are interested in. If you are travelling from the south of the island after visiting the park take a quick stroll to the black beach located just few min down. Pretty spectacular views.
It s really amaysing place. Nice show. Really clean areas for the animals and respect of them. A really beautiful day passed there
Awesome experience. Must try the Splash seats at Orca Show :)
Orca show is incredible also the all park look very nice!
The shows are brilliant the food looks good even though we had only a baguette. Price is ok too .
Other than the shows it has a lovely penguin encloser as well . Need at least 4 hrs here to see the show
In what world do we live in, where we know, orcas and dolphins swim up to 160k a day. Would you like to live your whole life in a tub? And people go there and pay money for it. Please!! Wake up!!
Great place. Amazing animals. Very busy. Ques. and inconsiderate people were the downsides. Other than that well worth a visit and support for all the work they do.
Dont go with a gide bcus she told us that it would take us 2 days to see the whole park but it took us 3-5 h but a lot of birds overall nice place
Visited the park while on holiday to Tenerife and was so glad me and my partner went! The whale show was amazing, something we had vith never seen before. Likewise the dolphin and sea lion show was great to watch. The grounds where stunning, so beautiful and well maintained. The animals are well looked after and have a great connection with there trainers (whales, dolphin, parrots and sea lions). Defiently recommend a visit if you come to Tenerife!
Compact and interesting zoo. A must visit for kids.
Awesome and wonderfull park! Positive suggestions since the entrance.
The staff welcomes you in very kind ways!
It was a fantastic experience to see Silverback Gorillas, they were playing around, i guess they moke people who observe them in front of the glass. They live in huge and nice space! Same for white tigers, flamingos, parrots...
Alla animals in this park enjoy very large space and cages, which is a nice thing to see nowadays.
Orcas and dolphins are awesome! They show deep connection with their trainers, you can feel and see it because they show happiness while performing.
This park is definately the best I' ve ever seen so far. I really enjoyed it.
It takes several hours to see everything and it matches the highest expectations!
I found the ticket price very honest: spaces and animals are sparkling clean and well taken care of.
If you are in Tenerife, you definately want to go visit Loro Park!
Loro Parc is defenitely worth a visit. The Zoo is not hugh but offers a good variety of shows, information and animals. I disagree with the critics that animals are not well treated and kept. The only exception are the orcas. I had the impression (as a non expert) that there is no pool large enough to keep them well. The orcas made also a passiv impression. The facilities are well maintained and the Parc is well layouted. My personal favorit was the aquarium.
An incredible experience for the whole family. You have the feeling you are in the jungle. All the animals look very healthy and happy. And what made me like the park even more is the fact they contribute so much to the preservation of species
Amazing and beautiful Zoo. Very well maintained. Their love towards animals is really appreciated.
Do not miss all the four shows in the park. My favorite was Sea Loins show and Ocra show.
Tip: At entrance there is a Discover Tour, its not bad but quite expensive. Simply It is not worth the price.
Enjoyed but bird cages far to small in some areas which is strange when the site is so big!! Make the cages twice the size so they can fly a little.
Been today and did the tour guide experience. Well worth it. Got to see behind the scenes in some of the off limits areas. Saw the shows that are timed so you can fit them all in. Very clean and the animals are looked after well.
You get the chance to go again within 15 days at an extremely low fee. If we were here longer we'd go again.
Amazing experience. Managed to see every show without even planning ahead and there was so much to see. PLEASE VISIT IF YOU LOVE ANIMALS
We are happy we visited this place. It is totally worth the money.
Fantastic place. Truly seems like a caring zoo with everything you spotless. Did the Discovery tour which takes you behind the scenes to under the Orca centre where trainers and also the massive machinery are, as well as a tour guide explaining the veterinary and welfare centres in the zoo. Can see why it is rated as one of the best in the world. Other zoos are "tired" in comparison.
The parrot tree tops was a special highlight as well as the penguin centre.
The animals there were so active and beatiful. I dreamed about touching them evere single day after that
Lovely park and the animals are clearly well looked after. Penguin planet is amazing could not recommend that part enough it's got the most incredible penguin enclosure ever and I fell in love with the puffins too (so much I bought my own puffin toy). Bit upset to see the Orcas and dolphins kept in such small areas. They're obviously very loved and well looked after but it's sad that they're held captive when they really should be free. The animals are well trained and there are plenty of shows where they can show you their talents. Think there should be a viewing area where you can go to see them when they're not performing. Even if it was like a downstairs part to their tank and you could see them underwater.
What a good time me and the kids loved it would defo go again
Far too busy. No time to get to shows hardly any cafes with actual food. Staff in ones that were there very rude. On me decent bit was Orcas and Dolphins. Staff in those parts amasing
It was a amazing day with delphine and orca show. A fantastic park to visit, and it was cleaned and nice all places with good food. The aquarium was also a fantastic place..
We recommend all to visit this fabulous park
This place is voted 1 in Europe and 2 in the world and it's easy to see why. The variety of animals is amazing, they have an indoor penguin planet which is an iceberg preserved in conditions for them to live with an enormous pool as well, live shows like Orcas, Dolphins, Sea Lions and exotic birds plus many great places to eat. If you go to Tenerife you MUST go here there's no debating it.
Absolutely incredible, bought tickets in "internet cafe Los gigantes " they promised me it will be spectacular, but I guess I still didn't expect that it will be that good!!
Orca, dolphin and sealion rutines were great. Doesn't smell bad, lots of free bathrooms, food and merchandise abundant.
A great day out, had lots to see and plenty of places to eat at in the park.
One of the most amazing zoo I have been to with so many fantastic live shows
Being a Zoo keeping animals captured, is not good nor optimal. But here they keep it tidy and informative. The work they put into various animalshows will leave the most hard hearted person more humble to the animal kingdom. That educational and active approach is doing a bad thing good. Perhaps will give many who would not normally reflect upon some lasting memories, maybe even awake there awareness. That should be the aim for any Zoological park, educate and preserve.
Very clean. Little bit too many sea animals for my liking but that's a personal opinion. The animals seemed well looked after. Some of the animals didn't have much space or privacy though, particularly the lions.
Amazing park to visit, we had great time walking around park. Thanks Loro Park
Easily the best zoo I've ever been to. Can see why it's #1 in the world. Will be going again when I return to Tenerife.
PLEASE!! Before you consider supporting this park educate yourself about the suffering of the orcas and the life that they have been brutally selected for.... They have been ripped away from their families in the ocean, a place where they had the freedom to swim for miles and miles and hunt naturally. They are starved so that they respond to eating dead fish and their spirits are broken so that they become a source of our entertainment. IS THIS REALLY WHAT WE WANT TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN ABOUT WILDLIFE?? Do we really need to be so cruel to wildlife on this planet that we can see them swim in a small pool and do tricks? This is not how they should be enjoyed or treated. Dolphin and orca captivity is extremely destructive. 'Morgan' as well as the others in this park suffer greatly. Please google Dolphin Project to learn the truth about what happens in parks like this and the extreme emotional harm that dolphins and orcas suffer. @dolphinproject
One day surrounded by so many species ... worth it ! They have shows of: dolphins, sea lions, orcas, parrots ... you ll find plenty of things to do there !
Absolutely great, would recommend going on the tour eventhough it's a little extra, you get to go behind the scenes and hear all about the parks conservation efforts.
The Best place!
Very Beautiful, interesting, clean!
I enjoyed all the Day here
Word of advice, get there ap opening time and spend the whole day there.
Orcas, dolphins, jellyfish and everything are worth it!
Very nice dolphin and orca shows. Great diversity of animals
An amazing place. Fabolous collection of animals all over the world. Unbelievable shows and a genius approach to the idea of zoo: with its own green electricity, fields of plants and recultuvation of oceanic water.
Definately "must to see" on the Canary Islands
They were never supposed to breed Morgan one of their female Orcas and now her calf Ula has been taken from her and is slowly dying. All of the baby Orcas born here have died yet they still breed and it's all for the money. And all they do is lie about each and every one. They tell the unknowing public actual lies to hide the fact that they are running an Orca mill in hope to make more money off the babies and the babies just die while the mothers much watch in pain and horror. NEVER GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS PLACE!
It is a nice zoo park with parrots, dolphins and whale show.. It is good to visit for families with children.
The park is full of plants and trees so you are walking in the shade. Better going there before noon and check the schedule for the different shows as you will enjoy watching it.
If only they had proper space for all the animals and birds ... it s sad to see them like that, it s 2018 not 1900 when people didn t care about animals and kept them only for entertainment. it s a nice park but make it nice for ANIMALS too not only for the people! #freethewhales
Entrance is quite expensive, but worth it, huge variety of all sort of animals. PS. more english less spanish in LORO Show and the only one red panda is too good at hiding! Get him some pal maybe!
Without a doubt the cleanest zoo I have ever seen. Amazing bird collection, lots of great presentations but the days of Orcas in captivity doing tricks for food should all be behind us by now.
Visiting Loro Parque was a lot of fun. We enjoyed watching the shows and learning about animal care and loro parques conservation efforts. The Park is overall clean and in good shape. The giant bird house is simply amazing. Sadly many birds are scattered in rather small and boring cages around the park which made us feel a bit sad for them.
Came here with my boyfriend and completely see why it's number 1 in Europe! Loro Park is on such beautiful grounds and it really felt like the animals were taken good care of - so much so the penguins have snow and the lights are turned down to reflect what it's currently like in the Antarctic. We loved the shows and had a really great day out!
Amazing place plenty to see and do. Lots of shaded areas for the days that are a bit hotter
Amazing place, you need around half day, even more to visit whole park and enjoy wild life shows. Also during peak period car park is full and expect some queue when buying tickets.
Loved Orca show!
Brilliant place for animal lovers, well worth a visit. We have been 3 times over the years.
One of the most beautiful places which we visited! Wunderfull animals, exciting shows, very nice people who care about animals. Thanks!
Fantastic family outing. Well thought out and a delight. Hundreds of parrots and the shows are captivating for young children. Excellent day out , although pricey for adults. Kids under 6 go free.
very nice park and a very nice way to spend the day with the familly.
I'm not a big fan of zoos but Loro Park was absolutely amazing. The animals are obviously very well cared for and look happy. Highlight was the Penguin area and the tree top area.
Great zoo! Wonderful paths, everything is compact and easy to get to. Make sure to see the shows (sea lion, orca, dolphins, birds).
Discriminated my Disabled Farther and made him feel uncomfortable. We was enjoying our holiday in Loro Park. We saw the dolphin show and we was given a front row seat for all the family with my Visually impaired farther of 74 years old. We all enjoyed the dolphins. Next stop the Orca's the show was busy but we asked a member of staff on the way in for the disabled section were we was given seats for the whole family and 1 behind which was fine. My Dad has his wife at side of him who has to explain what is happening and point him in the right direction so he can see with his binoculars he had his 2 Grandchildren to the other side of him so he could enjoy the show as a family. We was given these seats. Then Carlos came along and was most rude told my mother to move along with her Grandson and seated some other guest. I explained the issue to him that we was given the seats by another member of staff I explained that he should not of removed my family or split them up as they was already seated. Carlos was most rude and very abusive toward my Farther disabilities. My mother and Grandson left and found other seats leaving my farther without his carer. yes he had me and his Grandson but he needed his wife. This led to a rather heated discussion with Carlos. I explained that if the disabled area was full then the other guest should be asked to return at the next show and he should not of split the family up. The show now sadly my Dad did not enjoy. Carlos was getting rather loud and even more abusive he called security I tried to explain the situation to him but his English was not good enough. At this point my dad got upset and told me to be quiet or he was going to walk out. Again Carlos and the Security man carried on there loud abusive behavior I said you have upset my dad now just leave it but no Carlos kept going on and on. I was now using my finger to my mouth in a gesture to be quiet and to leave it but no he still carried on he then told me to my mouth very loud with a lot of aggression. along with the security man. At this point all I had said was leave it now you have upset my Dad. This as you can imagine spoiled the whole day and made my Dad feel uncomfortable and then refused to accept any other disabled seating. Carlos was so unprofessional and should be retrained. Never ever have we witnessed and be involved in such DISCRIMINATION to the disabled. The park is great the facilities are wonderful and would of been 5 stars but this event is just not forgivable. Visited 2nd Jan 2019
Absolutely fantastic. Easy to see why it was voted the world's best zoo. Superb election of animals on show, good environments for them and you get to be sooo close to the animals too. Felt a bit guilty watching the killer whale show but the flip side is the whale wouldn't have survived in the wild.
Whole family had a great time and the two parks (Siam Park too) for $60 price was unbelievably good too.
There was a good choice of food to buy, plenty of souvenir shops and lots of space to relax.
One thing I liked was the sale of caps for $1. I saw it as a nice gesture to prevent people getting sunstroke (with a bit of advertising thrown in!) but generally nice to see the cut price so that they were taking advantage.
I could have spent a lot longer there (even though we were there for 8 hours!) Would definitely recommend and definitely go back again.
Nice park, so many lovely animals and birds, definitely worth to visit.
Fantastic zoo with great shows. Both entertaining and educative. Definitely worth a visit when on Tenerife. Highly recommended.
Brilliant family day out. It is an all day attraction. The dolphins where brilliant and so was the whales all my 3 children loved it. Was a little pricy bit well worth it for the memories.
If you go to Tenerife for sure visit this place, obviously you will need all day to see everything but is amazing. 100% recommend
A family day out in a non crazy busy day of September. We enjoyed all the shows and animals without fight for space. A bit long queue for the self service restaurant so best bring something ready to eat. There are some picnic areas. It s a huge place so it took all day long for us. We wish it could stay open one more hour. We really loved it
What a wonderful place. The staff are enthuastic and obviously passionate about the animals they look after. The whole site has a wonderful friendly atmosphere and kept very clean. Thoroughly recommend a vist. Well worth the entrance fee. Also recommend doing the behind scenes tour too.
We arrived in the early morning and got to 4 main shows at earliest times. It was packed and hardly spaces left. Shows were good and funny so big + for that. Though the rush of the crowd after shows to the next ones was like a rat race. Narrow walkways don't help. In general it was ok with what we had seen, but number of people vs facilities and space was not that great. Price also quite high and another visit is not really needed as you should be able to see all in a day.
Although I've not been here for some years I remember my time there with great fondness. This place does so much for the breeding and conservation of animals as well as putting on a brilliant show for us, the visiting public. Children love it and the experiences of the various attractions keeps them enthralled for hours. Well worth the money, and worth the visit.
Absolutely great Zoo, extremely clean. Should be a must visit during a stay on Teneriffa.
Amazing place for the whole family. Well worth the money and great shows. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
The park itself is one of my favourite places on the Earth. Can spend hours there watching animals shows. Highly recommended place to visit for a whole day! But there is a ripping off at a toilets entrance and i think people need to know that in advance as you can get a shock easily by meeting a ladies in the public toilets who demand money for the necessary visit. And if you left your bag with your family member or have a card, no cash with you'll get the dirty look and a rude Spanish comment. Be ready to have some coins to give as tickets price nearly 40 euro for a person doesn't cover your necessary needs to use the public toilets. Management of the park probably think the cost of the ticket is not enough to cover it. What a shame one of the best parks in the Europe went too far and rip off its visitors without any shame!
Amazing place, animals are well looked after. Plenty to see and all the live shows are amazing
Love water animals! Reminds me child times and movies with this shows, whole day consumed and I really enjoyed it
Really well presented park. Lots of displays and presentations. The Loro Foundation works really hard in partnership with other environmental and wildlife organisations to research and provide funding for all manner of issues from excessive use of plastics to breed and release programmes. Your visit helps to fund their great work.
It was amazing thank u for then exsperiance of watching it
What a lovely place on earth - definetly worth a visit!
Amazing! So much to see and the shows are great! A must when in Tenerife! !!
Arguably the best animal park I've ever visited! Uploaded 130 pictures of the park! The animals seemed really happy and active, expecially the lions that were roaming round their enclosure play fighting with each other. Although many people dislike the whales being in captivity there I thought they were being well looked after and had their dorsal fin upright, not bent. The animal shows were spectacular and the staff seem to really love their job!
Very enjoyable park to walk, lots of shade (on northern coast there is permanent overcast anyway). Excellent dolphin show.
Most of Loro Parque is great fun but I found the Orca show a bit flat with the video a poorly timed distraction. Some additional signs would be handy in some areas and glass in some cases needed a clean.
The parrot and sea lion shows were possibly the best shows and food was surprisingly good and reasonable price considering the type of venue and what you got for it.
Loved it! Had a great great day. Loved the orca show and the dolfins. Also the parrots were great. The place is neat and the animals are very well taken care off. It's a must in Tenerife
Definitely worth spending the whole day here. Park and animals really looked after and food at a reasonable price too. Whole family really enjoyed the day out. Get there early and see the shows first as does get busy. can then spend the rest of the day chilling out looking at the rest of the park. Penguin display has really been thought out well and can see how much research they put into the looking after of all the animals
Drove from south Tenerife to Loro Park via the mountains. Nice drive with beautiful views on the way. Can easily spend an entire day at this park. Loads of animals and shows to see. The whale and the dolphin show is a must watch.
No.1 zoo in the world for a reason, highly recommend to everyone big and small
We did the Premium Tour and Discovery Tour, had a fantastic day!
It was a great way to see 3 shows and some behind the scenes stuff. A great day out!
Don't have words to describe this place , just amazing , kids loved it age 3 & 8 don't go from Tenerife without visiting this place it's really worth the money. Only advice I could give is come early you need at least 6 hours to see everything!!
Food - really can be better choices.
Too many parrots. You have to be birds lover for this zoo.
Orca show - nice to see.
