Nice ambient (lot of plants and green area) and fun shows.
It was the most amazing Zoo I have ever been too... The shows the had were brilliant and the animals seemed to be very well cared for. They do alot for the conservation of animals and the story of Morgan the orca is sad, but what they have done for that whale is beautiful!! I loved every moment of it, I would recommend this to all animal lovers!!
Amazing time for the whole family! Great value and huge variety of animals with the emphasis on 'conservation'.
A beautiful and amazing place. I had a wonderful time visiting it, admiring the animals and seeing the shows. I absolutely loved the dolphins show!
My husband and I are fairly mature - we loved this place! Coming from Africa we were so sad to see wild animals such as lion/tiger/gorillas/chimpanzees enclosed in smaller spaces - I suppose we r so used to our wildlife safaris there! But knowing that most of these animals have been hand reared by human hand for one reason or another - they r well fed and their enclosures have things for them to do. The sea lion; dolphin and orca displays were breath taking and the animals just seem to love to do what they do. Before each display there is a very educational talk shown up on the big screen explaining about their conservation; their success in even letting some birds go free in Brazil and their breeding program with endangered species. They also talk LOADS about human waste/pollution and how it affects our wonderful wildlife around the globe.
Loads of restaurants /cafes. The tree top walk thru was especially gorgeous. Their collection of bird-life is exceptional.
This is a great day out and maybe worth another visit as so much to take in....
We were lucky to visit it in June 2019. Took a bus transportation with tickets to Loro Parque included.
It was a great experience together with my husband. We enjoyed beautiful tropical ambiance and rate animals.
All place is nicely taken care of, huge amount of work done, stuff is very polite.
We saw lions, tortoise, parrots, sea life and huge killer whale.
When it s open again I wish to come back there with my husband again and take kids and parents with us.
We got them great Tiger t-shirts from parque.
Highly recommend!
Don't like zoos but this place is cool due to its philosophy of safeguarding endangered species. Don't like the idea of orca and sealion shows so didn't go to either.
Take a full day to experience this.
Make sure you get a ticket with meal included.
We were able to visit all shows, and it's a breath-taking and incredible experience.
Here's an easy schedule for a group of 4 grown-ups (might be trickier, but not impossible if you have kids):
Arrival - 10:00
Dolphins - 11:00
OrcaOcean - 11:45
Loro show - 13:30
Lunch - 14:00-16:00
Sea Lions - 16:55
you can visit in-between the shows the other areas of the park. walking from one location to the other, in the order listed above guarantees you'll walk (and have time to take it all in) through the rest of the park. We covered about 90% of it, if not more...
10/10, MUST SEE.
Got to be one of the best animal parks in the world. Amazing shows from the animals. You can see that the keepers really do look after their animals well.
Exciting location, love the Orca Ocean show, everything is at superlativ. Love it and do mot miss if you're in Tenerife
Great place. Only 3 stars as for the Orca show, which the start was really funny, they were selling disposable plastic rain Macs to stop you getting wet. How many of these will end up at the bottom of the ocean? Once sold you watch a video about plastic in the ocean and how it needs protecting. A bit hippercritical??????
this cant be missed maby 38 euros but you can come to tenerife and not go ( YOU WOULD BE CRAZY) I thought this about the price but when I went it was REALLY SPECTACULAR. GREAT WORK LORO PARK KEEP IT UP they are very educational
Amazing place! Literally spent there half a day with my partner. It's a well kept park, very clean and animals are well taken care of.
We didn't get to see the Orca show as they had some technical issues whilst we were there but we have seen all the other shows and truthfully enjoyed that! The dolphins were just amazing
*If you want to buy some souvenirs be aware they are quite expensive..
I'm rating 4stars only because of the food in the actual park. We ordered two rolls with drinks and some crisps, the rolls were so hard to eat and just tasted like they were made a few days ago or so.
**When you are waiting for the little train in Puerto de la Cruz - be aware people don't wait in the queue, we were standing in the queue and once the train arrived the people at the back ran to get in, totally ignoring the queue Just crazy, especially that the pick up is every 20min, some people are worse than the animals the staff didn't react, just laughed. I think they should have told them to get back into the queue and wait their time up.
Overall definitely a great place for a day out.
Love loro park could be more done with crowd control and some autism awareness but other than that a great destination
one of the best experience of my life :)))))
doesn't matter how old you are, you feel like children again, and that a nice feeling :))
Love love love this place the drive there through the mountains , all the animals on show , penguin enclosure is amazing , only downside is all the cichlids and other fish look I'll and under weight sunken belts on them ( peas dont work )
Not to miss with children. Great fun with the shows... a bit short but well syncronized. Quite busy.
This was definitely worth the visit. The animals were well looked after, the Zoo itself was very well kept and all the keepers had a lovely connection with the animals in their care. So much work is being done by Loro Park to ensure the safety and well being, as well as non extinction, are at the forefront! I wouldn't hesitate on recommending this trip to anyone!
Great park. Had our phone charger stolen from the bottom of the buggy. Watch out for the FREE car park next door. A guy ushered us in very quickly and charged us 5! Only read the large sign which is high up on the building when we RETURNED to the car park.
Another place which you have to visit while being on Tenerife. Worth to go
I would have rated 0, but I can't. The cages and spaces for the animals are incredibly small. The dolphins and orcas basicaly swim in a glass of water compared to what they need. Humans have far more space for coffee and donuts. They say that most of the species are endangered, however, that is no excuse for these conditions. Horrible experience!
Amazing place animals look happy the shows where amazing brought a few photos too , orca show was amazing to see so what the dolphin sealions shows and the added information in them where amazing , seeing one of the vets at work was amazing too , they look after the animals well the only down side is the price of the food it was well ove4 prices esp the coffee
Loro Park is amazing, so many different animals to go and see. They are extremely well looked after. Perfect place for a day out with the kids.
Besutiful place, animals must have healty diet. It's just sad to see cages in some cases more then others.
Value for money. A good day out. Shows were brilliant.
Real "a must" while visiting Twnerife. Amazing place, that not only offers the opportunity to see a whole variety of tropical animals, but also takes amazing care of care of them. All over the world. From the touristic point od view - reserve like 5-6 hours if you really wanna see and experiance everything here :) Been here twice. Believe nr, it's worth it.
Great experience ! Awesome services, clean and tidy. Deffo No. 1
Great little park, a bit expensive though but will easily fill the day, well worth visiting
Great Zoo with a lot of things to see. Quite difficult actually to see all the animals entraped but its a good palce to go with the kids so they can see animals that probably they would never see in real life. Quite big to cover in one day so bee quick if you go. A lot of shows to see (dolphins, orca, otters) with what is probably the worst and most expensive food you will ever eat (if!).
I went yesterday 17/09/19. I had a good time. The animals look very healthy and well looked after.
At one point during the day I misplaced my bag. The staff helped me to find it, and I'm very thankful to them. The next time I'm in Tenerife I will return.
Great place to visit and lots of things to do and see. Especially impressed with their conservation program!
With 4 year old and 4 month old. Most amazing sea-lion dolphin and whale shows. Great atmosphere. Great play park for kids. Great toilet facilities. Would thoroughly recommend!
Experience overall was ok. It has more birds than anything else and I prefer larger animals. The lion enclosure was too small, I dont like killer whale shows as they
have to constantly stare at concrete walls all day and the food was over priced.
A really great place for all animal-lovers. Exclusive shows. One of the very few Orcas in the world! Very clean and neat park also
I personally liked Fuerteventura's Oasis Park a lot better but the Orca show and the Gorillas are phenomenal! Really majestic. Also the penguins and puffins were brilliant Lots of people though. We visited this place on Wednesday in the end of September... The 37 euros for the adult entry sounds a bit pricey but considering the amount of animals and the quality of the whole park is well worth this money...I think.
Keeping Morgan away from her daughter since birth, why?! Because you're all so deranged and sadistic you kept mother and newborn baby girl apart only to do experiments with Ula. And all the while we have blatantly noticed she's deformed, unhealthy, and has been made to bond with/solely rely on humans.
Morgan should have LEGALLY been released back into her home waters years ago. What you have done is beyond shameful; it's disgusting. Loro Parque: You are a bloody disgrace.
Lovely place and nice animals, some you will never see back in the UK. Seal show, dolphin show and the orcha show were all amazing.
Lovely place but they need more attention our friendly animals
Fantastic park for kids and adults. Plenty of different shows at several times per day. A must in Tenerife.
Best modern zoo in the world! A Must see for all animal lovers.
Such a beautiful park, my fav is the aquarium love the tunnel you walk through, then the penguins are beautiful, 2nd time I have been in 3months will be going back next time I'm here.
Great place, worth visiting! It is very crowded and the show times are very close so it's hard to see all of them, especially if you have children. You can park on site for 4 per day but can also find free parking if lucky in the streets nearby the entrance. Lots of places to eat, however the one we choose wasn't that great and a bit pricey. Delfinarium, Orca and seal shows are really good. Overall really glad we visited.
Absolutely fantastic start to finish with regard to the facility and animals. Most well kept tidy modern zoo with well looked after happy content looking animals. The orca whales, dolphins, sea lions and penguins were particularly spectacular! Plenty of toilets and eating facilities around the park. Reasonable priced food considering your in a park complex. Very impressive! Only negative things I could say is there are no elephants and the 'tour guide' staff at the front entrance are a bit rude and not overly helpful if you don't want to pay extra money for a private guided tour of the whole zoo with a tour guide. We just wanted a map to go ourselves.
Very good park, was interesting to learn about the animals and their difficult upbringing. Some of them have had hard previous lives and we take for granted what we have was an excellent park HOWEVER THERE WAS NO BEVERS
Had been to Tenerife before but not seen Loro Park. Its an absolute must visit location. We spent the whole day here getting all the shows..Amazing work being done to preserve and care for animals. I was surprised how much conservation they park promote. I was also amazed to find out its totally Eco friendly by being off gird, and selling on excess electric they don't use. So if your in Tenerife please do visit Lora Park. If I could give 100 stars I would.
Great place to visit on Tenerife. Loved the Orca show, dolphin, seal loins and penguin enclosure. Food was good as well, but pricey ( not unreasonable for a park) definitely should be on the list of things to do whilst on the island.
Amazing place. Had a great day. Stayed around 6-7 hours. Get to the shows early to get a seat. Food was a little pricey but to be expected! You can take a picnic of your own too if wanted. Highly recommend!
Friendly staff, good atmosphere, excellent food, comfortable rooms. Ideal location for exploring the island.
Great, sizeable animal park/zoo, mostly focused on parrots. Despite that there's plenty of other animals from all around the world, including some sea creatures (orcas, dolphins, sea lions, ...), animals from the arctic (penguins, puffins) and savanna (lions, suricates). Plenty of food stalls around, with food quality typical for tourist attractions.
I loved the dolphin show it was amazing, would definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking about going.
Lovely place. Killer whales, loins, parrots...if you love bird this is the place to be. Enjoyed every minute and the dolphin and sea loin show is a must see.
Great place. Thousands of beautiful parrots.great dolphin show. Parrot show, and whales
Fantastic place! Very recommended! Modern comfortable zoo with a lot of animals and different shows during the whole day
Animals are prisoners in this park, they deserve to live free in the wild. Some human died in this park ! Free Morgan and her baby ! They have to be together !! Do not go there do not buy tickets.
A place u MUST visit when in tenerife!!! The animals, the shows, the scenery all absolutely beautiful.
The loro Park for parrots is something else, being able to get up close and personal with all different parrots.
The research centres are extremely interesting too!
An amazing place, very beautiful and full of atractions too: orka's show (watch the splashes!), delfines' show, seals' show, parrots' show...all the gorgeous animals, and souvenir shops and caffeterias across all the park, and also at the end of the tour- overall well designed and equiped park, with professional nice staff, STRONGLY reccomend visiting!:)
Fantastic place, they seem to really care about animals. There's lots to see, the place is very friendly to families and baby strollers. You would need at least 4-5 hours for comfortable visit. There is a good multi-level parking for 4 euro per day. It is worth buying tickets online (to avoid a queue to ticket office). We are very glad we visited this place.
Great sea life park with tropical plants!! Unique exhibit of penguins! The four animal shows are amazing, including whales, dolphins, sea lions and parrots. The food inside is good with reasonable price (we spent 21.5 for a decent lunch for two persons). Parking is 4 whole day and it s better to go there early to get a spot. It took us ~5 hours to visit all the places. We booked the ticket online on the Getyourguide website. 66 for a combo ticket for both Loro park and Siam park.
Really good, my kids loved it also the lil shows they had.
The orca and dolphin shows are a MUST. Other than that, the park is quite nice loads of parrots, but felt less cosy than Jungle Park, perhaps because there were a lot more people when we went. Definitely good for kids. If you come by car, park at the top of the hill Maritim Hotel. There are a fake parking assistants closer to the entrance heckling people for money.
This is a great park if you love animal abuse. The living spaces are way too small. Please, go to the beach instead.
full of animals that you dont see everyday. for example dolfin, seals and killer whales. With all of those you can watch them perform for no extra price. I especialy recommend the dolphins as their performance is sick. It's a really good place for family with kids of all ages. deffinataly recommend this to anyone with a love for animals.
Great day out as always! Never fails to impress; great shows, fantastic animals, good food & great company :)
Well set out animals seem to be well looked after with plenty of space and very informative
Great Parc with lots of different animals and several shows that are all amazing.
Best zoo in the world - at least this is what they say.. but i have to add.. i do feel sorry for some of the animals.. especially for the big cats, gorillas and many of the parrots.. very small bird cages for some. The shows are great. The place is amazing. A must visit for any tourist.
Great park loads to see and do , cant see in one visit ,fantastic place
Very nice experience. Try to get to the shows 10-15 mins ahead to catch a good seat.
Beatiful place, awesome shows. Orca show was the best, dolphins as well :) However so many people everywhere, food and drinks little bit pricey.
Was an amazing day and the best zoo I have ever been too
Animals seemed to be really looked after
Really good, orcas show ftw :)
Penguins also very much worth to see !
Brilliant, well worth the visit if you are in Tenerife - hire a car if a taxi is too expensive to get there ...
Brilliant zoo, definitely a whole day thing. Would recommend doing to discovery tour, only and extra 11 and it gets you behind the scenes and a lot more info about the parque and animals.
Wonderful place. Magnificent animals. Amazing to see them up close.
Loro Park has the most amazing zoo I've ever been to. They have an aviary that has a huge number of beautiful birds. They have a penguin area that is great. You can go see an Okra, Dolphin and Bird show! The sea lion show was closed for renovations when we were there. The animals are well cared for. I loved the lions! The park is beautiful to walk around in with all of the trees and bushes making you feel like your in the tropics. They have many places throughout the park for food and beverage. Loro park raises money to help save endangered species. I loved visiting this zoo and highly recommend it to anyone else!
Excellent park and a must visit if in Tenerife...the penguins were amazing! The shows are worth the entry fee alone.
What a fantastic, amazing day we had here. Whether singletons or families it's a place to be enjoyed. The dolphin and orca shows were phenomenal. From start to finish a great day was had. Would definitely come here again
Amazing experience from beginning to end. The shows were amazing especially the dolphin and whales. The animals all looked well taken care of and in clean habitats. A wide range of animals from penguins to monkeys and tigers to flamingoes. A great experience for the whole family. The bathrooms are very clean as well.
I ve heard the animal care is quite good, so apparently they are in good hands, the atmosphere and surroundings are spectacular, I think is the best part of the zoo, really immersive, the shows are entertaining and educational, just like all the signs, and the park in general, deserves a chance to visit.
Nice to see this place, many animals especially birds. And we even met X-box Christian
Nice zoo. ARCHITECTURE is very thai based. Needs whole day of itinerary. Dolphin, sea lions, whale show all a must
Fantastic place to visit great Dolphin-whale ans sea lion shows for adults and kids
One of the best zoo's in the world, really up they're for being conservation experts, these people really care about protecting the population of animals from around the world.
Great place to visit on our holiday from England loads to see jam packed day didnt know there was so many different parrots amazing place
Great place to spend a day with a family. Animals for the win. Nice shows. Minuses: too many people if you're out of luck at the moment, parking, low quality food (better to take own stuff).
Not bad activities. But traces sometimes stulidly organized
Brilliant zoo lots to see and do animals are all looked after shows are amazing
Amazing and Cool place to be fun for all ages and especially all the shows Ocra Show, Sea Lion Show, Dolphin Show and Loro Show
