My husband and I are fairly mature - we loved this place! Coming from Africa we were so sad to see wild animals such as lion/tiger/gorillas/chimpanzees enclosed in smaller spaces - I suppose we r so used to our wildlife safaris there! But knowing that most of these animals have been hand reared by human hand for one reason or another - they r well fed and their enclosures have things for them to do. The sea lion; dolphin and orca displays were breath taking and the animals just seem to love to do what they do. Before each display there is a very educational talk shown up on the big screen explaining about their conservation; their success in even letting some birds go free in Brazil and their breeding program with endangered species. They also talk LOADS about human waste/pollution and how it affects our wonderful wildlife around the globe.
Loads of restaurants /cafes. The tree top walk thru was especially gorgeous. Their collection of bird-life is exceptional.
This is a great day out and maybe worth another visit as so much to take in....
