A mixture of a building and a sculpture. A truly unique work of art that with its roundness breaks the square shape created by the surrounding skyscrapers. The play of light created by the mirrored surface and the play of ups and downs inspired by Escher are amazing. The cost of admission varies around 5 and 10 dollars, which is a bit too much for a half-hour visit.

It's always great to see different designs of buildings and fun art structures. What's disappointing here is the string of lame/expensive stores in this shopping center. The one at Columbus circle is far superior.

This area is so new and futuristic that doesn't look like NYC, it worth a walk, and the interesting thing is that this place is not finished, still under construction, the mall looks pretty cool and there are a lot of places to eat, and is really close from Penn Station.

Nice promenade in the city, multiple food options and stores, clean. Can be very crowded , so choose well the timing to go. The architecture of the buildings is very impressive. Is a way to witness how the wealthy rolls.

The hudson yard is the new city within New York city, it has restaurant, coffee shops, the mall, Coach, parks ,the vessel, and much more. It is like the gate to the future into a new world. The hudson yard is not done yet, it is still growing in all directions. Drop by check it and enjoy, it is awesome.

A newly created place that is finishing growing in Manhattan. Skyscrapers, parks and much more in an area that was previously completely degraded. An example to follow for many cities that believe that the urbanism of the future involves creating complexes of this type, modern, avant-garde and efficient.

The High Line by the Hudson Yards opened this year. Part of the High Line follows the railway as it originally was with the weeds and rust. My students loved the little playground within the girders.

City is being continuously over-built. Although some may find this kind of place impressive I think "less is more". Also plan on doing a MapQuest to get where you're going in this place.

You go for The Vessel if you're a tourist. A true sight to excess consumption, yet it is beautiful architecture and easy to appreciate?

The mall itself is another high-end mall, harder to get excited about. This is New York after all, where high-end malls are a thing, and not enough to warrant excitement.

What am amazing new tourist attraction. There's so much to do here from going to the mall, seeing the new Vessel attraction, fine dinning and drinking. The Vessel is a large piece of artwork that you literally interact with by climbing it. It's like a huge web of stairs. Be sure to pace yourself going up, it's deceptively tall with many steps to climb.

Whenever I visit NYC, I reserve the entrance to The Vessel in advance (it's free, you have to book up to one or two weeks in advance). I love this site and the Hudson Yards sector. I recommend entering The Vessel, climbing the stairs to the top floor, taking photos, appreciating the view and enjoying this new site. Then, they can go to the Mall that is located right in front.

This massive collection of mixed use office and residential towers features up scale shopping and dining . There is also a huge public plaza that features many free events. Please note the plaza serves as the northern terminus for the High Line.
