The Vessel was a bit underwhelming considering all the hype. It's something you go see and take some pictures. The mall next to it was good though. So decent food and stores, just a bit pricey.

For some reason there are quite few of the shopping malls like this around. And everyone comes here at least for the toilet since there are so few around. Still, its a nice walk around especially with views out to the Vessel and also for the warmth in the wintery weather.

The usual brand names are here and seems to have a comprehensive collection like Uniqlo and Zara. There were also some interesting eateries as well as the blue bottle coffee over Starbucks.

My family and a friend went to see the vessel and do a little bit of shopping at the beautiful mall. We saw the Queens yard so we went in and told receptionist that there were 4 of us. He asked if we would like a window seat and because it was so busy we said we don t mind wherever he had for us. He neglected to tell us that there were two different restaurants in one. He sat us on the side of the restaurant that we couldn t order from the lunch menu so we told him we didn t realize this restaurant was separated, there were no signs and the Hostess just did not explain that to us. So we asked to be moved because we were with teenage kids who wanted cheeseburgers and french fries from this nice restaurant. They were hesitant. So they moved us but were very rude. It took them 20 minutes to even get our drinks. The meal was around $250.00 and was one of the worst experiences that I had ever had. However the food did taste good.

The Vessel was amazing, and free! We had to wait an hour before getting in line, but that was no problem, with the mall and the High Line right there. Once we got in line, it only took about 20 minutes to enter. Very worth visiting if you don't mind climbing many many stairs!

A lot of expensive store with Uniqlo, Muji, and Zara thrown in. The food options are good. Fuku convenient store is cute and serves as a grab and go. Shake Shack is there, as well as some white linen type restaurants.

A newly created neighborhood in New York, which you must visit, especially the Vessel: endless staircase consisting of 8 floors, 80 terraces and 2500 steps. You will have a great view of the Hudson and the beginning of the High-Line.

Next door is the exhibition center which has the particularity to expand (note the wheels and slides in the bottom of the building).

To access it, you must register (for free!) By scanning the bar-code available on an electronic terminal (but probably also online before coming).

Of course, you have to go for a walk on the high-line.

Very structure the father, only that they must take into account that they have to book tickets before entering. Sometimes not always during the day in the morning they give tickets but you can not choose the day or the hour, it is what they give you because they are of the tickets that were left or were not used. It's free by the way.

It's a ginormous, expensive, hugely built mall in Midtown Manhattan. I appreciate people thought they needed a mall there but I'm not sure why. I live on Long Island and our malls have a wider more open feel, this felt cramped. I swear I think there are marble floors too. The escalators are a little confusing. The ups and downs are not next to each other, and where are the stairs?
