I loved the outdoor extension to the cafe (Carluccios) where 10 of us had tables pushed together for a family meal. Also celebrated my birthday there in the evening with a friend in the romantically lit tiny garden extension - served by a very nice friendly and attentive Ukrainian young lady.
The rooms were very beautiful.
I requested a baby cot, but with only the skeleton and mattress,
There were no blankets or comforters for children.
I used a bed comforter.
The Italian restaurant on the first floor has a good staff response.
The taste was good too.
About 5 minutes walk from Swiss Cottage Station.
A small supermarket is also nearby.
Good experience in general, still needs to improve attention to details.
Room comfortable, breakfast was good.
The hotel offered an e-receipt but never issued it despite a couple of follow ups.
Room service was very expensive.
The hotel was undergoing a major refurbishment when I stayed, which may have impacted the usual running.
I'd stay again on business no problem, but would be unlikely to book if I was staying for leisure.
Ok. Nothing special but not a shambles. Rooms and bathrooms have been redone. Decent breakfast options. Close to the Tube and buses for easy access to the city.
Renovated rooms, spacious, lots of outlets for charging devices
If spending your own money go elsewhere. Two out of the three nights we stayed here our room neighbours played loud music and ruined the whole experience for us. From our experience this hotel is more like a house share than a hotel. Completely unacceptable.
I stayed here last night after being a Hilton Gold Member for years because i'd just had enough of their old, small and lacklustre quality. I wish i'd made the move across to Marriott earlier if this hotel is anything to go by... fantastic big room (executive), lovely balcony overlooking town, generally very quiet, very comfortable bed and a really quick seamless check out process. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
Comfortable hotel, nice big rooms and friendly staff. Short walk to the tube
This Hotel is very nice just everything on the street can be heard from the rooms. Decor is like any other Marriott but rooms are big for Europe.
Close to London, conveniently located, not far from public transport (bus and metro Station Swiss Cottage).
This hotel is one of my favorites in London and not just for the price of its family rooms.
But also for the friendly and welcoming staff.
Our room was clean and big with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
In addition there is a swimming pool and a sauna .... which is very nice!
Not to mention that you will not be far from Camden and Abbey Road Studios.
Very good hotel. Clean, nice and good swimming pool
Visited for social event. Staff are attentive, and the space was large, clean and modern. The sandwiches were decent (though not exceptional), the wine good, and I liked the self serve coffee. All in all, a pleasant experience, though I would expect this at a Marriott.
wonderful absolutely wonderful couldn't ask for better
What an awesome property! Don't judge a book by its cover... the exterior certainly says "vintage" but the inside says super modern and updated. Rooms are top notch, as is the M club Lounge. Location is in a rather quiet residential area with easy access to Jubilee line. Highly recommended base for visiting and exploring London
Good hotel ideal for lots of destinations on the underground.
The rooms are very old. They are in the middle of a big renovation. The lobby was nicely updated.
Great Hotel in a very nice neighbourhood
After the refurbishment it looks really nice and modern. The restaurents abd food and the facilities are excellent
Slightly tired looking, but staff very pleasant and helpful. Good food. Comfortable bed.
Nice rooms and we were very well feed for breakfast.
The hotel is fine, nice staff and comfortable accommodation. Keep in mind that if you decide to use the pool, there is no full schedule available and you might find half a dozen one year olds and their parents singing Wheels On The Bus. Not exactly relaxing.
Really nice hotel with attentive staff. Room was nice and comfortable for our family of 4. The only thing that let it down was the experience of the in house Carluccios restaurant.
Deceptive from the outside, the inside is stunning and spacious. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
Don t let the outside fool you. That looks dated.
The inside is amazing and the rooms are some of the best I have ever stayed in. Very smart
The restaurant on the ground floor is awesome. It also has open air seating option. The food was awesome and was reasonably priced. I was also happy with staff friendliness and helpfulness. Overall, it was a great experience.
Just love this hotel. My favourite destination for dinner..
Excellent service from one team member on reception at the swimming pool. He was professional and courteous. Shame the other member of staff ruined it with her patronising tone and unprofessional attitude. Laughing at customers to their face is unacceptable in this day and age. They ve just lost us as future members.
Very hommy in a quiet environment..the restaurant is on the front as soon as it enters the lobby it is immediately greeted by the aroma of cooking that is bad ... the hotel is very clean and fragrant ... orange juice everywhere. Can order 4 beds in 1 room, there is a back porch to enjoy the fresh air and scenery.
I had stayed here previously about 6 years ago, and have to say that the renovations suit the place very well. Well located, with much within a 10-15 minute walk.
Love this hotel a short walk from Primrose hill and Regent s Park. Great service in brand new hotel. Travelling with a family, they offer two double beds in one room
Had a business meeting at the restaurant. Breakfast was mediocre. Seafood linguine was bland and dry. Server was very friendly and so the stars are for her.
Constant building work. Might be nice when it's finished
Good hotel close to underground. Good rooms. Less veg options in breakfast
Lovely hotel, well located. Friendly staff, nothing to much trouble.
We decided to stay at this hotel during our trip to London, as we were enticed by the great location and reviews. The location, and the accommodations did not disappoint, but the services definitely did, especially given the fact that this is an upscale hotel. The room was spacious, and the furniture and fixtures modern and sleek.
Our first disappointment came at check in, however, when we wanted to book an extra night. The concierge handled the conversation in a monotone tone, impassive and insensitive to our needs (especially that we got in later in the evening, were tired and were accompanied by our two children). He was rude, inflexible, and made us feel completely unwelcome. We ended up calling a manager who smoothed things over.
The next day, we were out the entire day. When we got back to the hotel at around 7pm, we found the room in the exact same state; no one had come in to clean and straighten the room, nor clean the bathroom and replace the towels. At about 7:30 pm, a cleaning lady knocked on our door, came in and proceeded to clean with us present. We were shocked, and had to ask her to leave. She seemed bewildered and completely unapologetic.
For such an upscale hotel and the price we paid, we were extremely disappointed in the service. I hope the hotel management takes a closer look at its services and its employees.
I want to mention that I am not an individual who takes time out of my day for these kinds of reviews. However, I work hard for my money, and we spent a tremendous amount of time and money in this trip, only to be so disappointed with this hotel and its services.
Very good hotel, very welcoming and helpful staff, nice rooms and delicious breakfast
Friendly staff and great room with plenty of space and TV. Lounge is OK but adequate.
Very impressed with the mobile app. Service was perfect and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone
Even as a resident they charge you for parking. Ridiculous
From the moment I checked in at the Marriott @Regents Park, Ada from the front desk made my stay an unforgettable experience. She went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and really made me feel like I was at home. Definitely know where I'll be staying on my next visit to London!
Location good, expensive to stay Carlucios Restaurant and bar also expensive.
A bit away from central London but 20 min walk to Camden market and primrose hill. Just be aware that you might bump into famous people in Primrose hill. Hopefully not Ricky Gervais what a bore that guy is if you see him run.
The Marriott was very nice and so were the staff, under renovation but okay otherwise.
Very nice and cozy hotel. Comfortable rooms. good facilities. Hotel personal very nice and helpful.
Overall, a great 4 stars hotel right in zone2. Closed to many things and lovely regents park. I usually don't get to used the gym facility but booked this for a staycation. A bit disappointed on the pool and gym being shared with non hotel guest which made it quite crowded on the weekend.
The coffee is meh....
The bed is very comfy and staff were very sweet and helpful.
Breakfast is included so will be excited to find out how it is compare to other Marriott around the world. Yay!
We were lucky enough to get free upgrade to a suite, which was incredible! Thanks for that, Marriott. I would highly recommend this hotel. Great location, quiet for central London and reasonably priced.
Best Hotel!!! Always mets their standards!! Nice chain
Some newly renovated rooms. Shocked at the many rooms per floor.
The staff ignored my requests several times. No facilities in the room. It's not worth the money you pay for the room.
Had a few hiccups, like our room being already occupied when checked it, but the reception staff, especially Laura where excellent and got that sorted. Lovely hotel with a relaxed, but professional atmosphere. Has a pool and spa facilities not you feel the need.
If we need a hotel in this area of London it will be the one we choose.
Had a great time in the Marriott Regent Park. Extremely helpful staff, great rooms and shopping in Camden in walking distance. I would have rated it 5 stars but breakfast and evening snacks in the M-Lounge were beyond disappointing. Marriott really needs to check the quality of these dishes and the variety
Friendly staff, nice comfy room, pool and sauna amazing, food good, wish they replaced the complementary digestives!
Excellent stay, very kind staff and lively neighbourhood.
I was only there for a conference hence the score. That said, the staff were friendly and polite and the venue was very good as was the catering
Great Hotel, stayed for a my daughters birthday and the staff were brilliant. Had a nice gift upon arrival for her and upgraded our room free of charge. Parking was plenty although pricey but expected for Central London. Would definitely visit again if staying in the nearby area.
I will start by saying, the staff were always polite and very nice. Alot of them do not have a handle on the English language. Working at a metropolitan hotel in London, England. What? I know. The restaurant. Its, 'ok'. The bar. For get it. The M club, hilarious. The place is getting old. It seems like an entry level Marriott employee property or they pay really low and hire on a basic level. Again, all staff were nice, but hard to communicate with most of the time. The bar restaurant communication was the hardest. Very basics were almost pantomime at times. My room had a corporate remodel in the past couple years. 75% of the power plug and USB ports were broken. No desk in my room but a place for it. It was obvious the cleaning is the same quick rag for the whole room, maybe the whole floor. Needs like a wash down cleaning with cleanser, not just a spray and wipe. The building make strange noises. It groans lol. All the elevators worked sometimes. Good gym! Not a disaster but not going back if necessary that's all.
Lots of family facepainting events held in the foyer
A few pictures with Jo from Amazing facepainting by Jojo at the Haloween.
Very well maintained property - located in a great area close to Primrose Hill too
Very bad restaurant very bad staff and awful don't like it their sister in maida vale are absolutely opposite!!
Fabulous hotel, great service, exquisite food, we will definitely be booking again, very highly recommended
Excellent service and the renovation to the hotel is superb..if you have children the inside pool comes in handy to give kids the ability to burn energy! The restaurant is excellent authentic food. Room service was fast! Platinum members get to enjoy the M club that was stocked with beverages and food all day! Quiet time and a nice space!
We came here only for parking, and the parking structure is very very awful. If you have a nice car like range rover or Mercedes you're likely to get it scratched. Or any SUV as well
Lovely location close to the parks and a short walk to Camden market. Sucks having additional parking charges not included with the room but l guess that is the way London has become.
Everything is awesome. Just hate the lines at the elevators.
Brilliant hotel. Rooms are modern, a bit boutique style. The park can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. Staff extremely friendly.
