Best service in a long time! The Veal was amazing. Recommend this Italian cuisine to anyone wanting a true Italian meal.

Just had Lunch at Lomonte's with my wife!! Great food and great service!!!

Had a great time for lunch, but I really wanted to try the manicotti and they were out! The service was excellent and I did enjoy the chicken picatta I ordered, but it wasn't what i really wanted.

Food tastes amazing. The staff is very accommodating. And the chocolate pecan pie...I could eat it for days

Pasta Lomontes is a fantastic location for a wonderful evening out. Great, authentic, Italian cuisine; wonderful atmosphere, courteous staff. I can't say enough. You won't regret trying it out.

Everything at lo Lomotes is amazing ... food, service and the live music! I have been coming here for years and it is my favorite place to eat !!!!

This place is awesome. Service is top notch, food is excellent, and portions are Texas sized. Lomonte s is a cozy restaurant, so reservations are a good idea. Be sure and try the crab claw appetizer. We will be back.

Lomonte s is open again and the food is a fabulous as ever! Wife had the Catfish Picante, her favorite and it was exceptional! I have the spaghetti meat sauce (boring I know) and it was beautiful. They ve sanitized above and beyond with the nano-sanitizer that lasts 3 months.

Best italian in Houston! Perfect 3 course meal, cheezy garlic bread app, lasagna main, Italian cream cake dessert.

Would love to give this more than 5 stars!! Absolutely delicious; yes the artichoke is to die for, as are many other tasty things on the menu. Service is impeccable and I love this place!!!

A quiet and cool restaurant serves us delicious Italian food and bitter wine. The restaurant stands by Katy free way and let us access easily. I met a 80 years young waiter who kindly offered their recommendaion. He spoke calmly to us and we enjoyed talking with him and the food. We ordered one bottle of red wine melro, tomato tasted pasta, caeser slad and pork steak. If possible, we hope to have Texas beef steaks with Pittsburgh style. Unfortunately, there were no stocks of raw beef. But...these were delicious. We recommend you to have dinners with your family or colleagues.

This is an Italian gem! The stuffed artichoke was delicious! Just like my mother used to make ! They say everything in Texas is bigger, well this artichoke was giant ! The owner sent out a free appetizer to my son who was in uniform & thanked him for his service. The cook came out of the kitchen because I wanted to tell him that the pistachio crusted chicken was a first for me. It was outstanding! The service was excellent & I recommend this place for authentic Italian cuisine !

I am basing my review on my last visit. I went back to this establishment because I had such a great experience on my first visit with the service, food, and the people that I encountered. On my second visit, it started out okay. I spoke to a nice person at the bar. The same bartender was there from my first visit about 6 months prior. It's a young man with dark hair in his twenties. He was very inattentive focusing his attentions on a pretty young lady sitting at the bar. Who, by the way wasn't eating or drinking any alcohol. I received my meal which was bland and had a lousy presentation. The salad wasn't bad but somewhat drenched in dressing. The pasta and marinara was good. However, when I asked about bread the bartender just looked at me uninterested and said, "oh, you wouldn't want it, it's french bread." What? I'm in an italian restaurant. French bread? So I spend approximately $30 on veal picatta which was fair at best, get lousy service, and a waiter or bartender who is too lazy to walk 15 feet to the kitchen to get me french bread at an italian restaurant. Would you go back there? I won't...

As good as it was 26 years ago when I first went. Thanks B for the Fathers Day desert.

Lomonte's is definitely our choice for dining out in the area.
It has every positive quality you could ask for from great staff and service to
excellent food. The Ambiance is very warm with a touch of the romantic so whether you're with friends or your special other it's as if the place was tailor-made for your moment.

Good Italian restaurant, the food is very rich, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy.

10/10 recommend!! Barbie, the owner, personally visited our table and made us feel welcome as it was our first time here. Juan, our server was extremely attentive and helped us decide on entrees and drink options. Food was impeccable, and the ambiance was relaxing and easy. Definitely a great place for a date or just an overall delicious meal.

Great meal and all around experience. A comfortable beachfront (type) setting with lots of charm. I would recommend this place to anyone "I liked!" . Italian cream cake and Chicken Parmesan was more than two of us could share and we ordered the Shrimp Forenza too. It was all fantastic! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. To bad we are from St Louis and only passing through.

A very quaint and romantic venue. Great food and drinks. Parking can be a challenge. Be sure not to park in other venue parking. The wrecker vulture spotters will watch you go to some one else's venue and tow your vehicle. It is thouroly posted with signage warning you. But lamonte's is a great experience

Great pasta (eggplant parmesan), not overly oily or too much breading. Sauce was simple and delicious. Tiramisu was excellent as well.

We were recommended to this spot by our hotel. Excellent service & very romantically quaint atmosphere. My one and only complaint would be the bread being too hard & thin. Everything else was perfect.

I love love love this place. Authentic atmosphere playing old charming Italian songs in the restaurant. You can also choose to sit on the patio where is live music on the patio and you can get drinks there too. We chose to be inside. We had pistachio crumbed chicken with sundried tomatoes, artichokes and pasta, very yummy! Also ceasar salad turned nice, fresh and tasty. But the most of all, I loved our waiter Mike. That man, he s simething. In his late seventies, he s a type of person from an old school. Charming with very fine manners, extremely warm and professional. If for nothing else, I d visit this place anytime just for him! We had really lovely time there.

Just celebrated my birthday there last night, as always the food was terrific. Margaritas were the worst I have ever had and the service from the waiter totally inexcusable. Rarely checked on us, took FOREVER to get a drink. Very disappointing.

Lomonte's is a great place for some after work drinks if youre near the Energy Corridore. The food is some of the best Italian in Houston and the staff are very friendly.

Crab claw appetizers is a must! Service was good, not great but it doesn't overshadow this 5 star restaurant. We love a good independently owned place and they delivered. We had the grilled salmon and beef marsala, both were exceptional. Tiramisu was a perfect ending.

Patio with live music for happy hour - restaurant is nice, great food (eggplant parmesan) and service is good. Enjoy!

This place is phenomenal!! I tried this place for the first time toddy and ALL of the food we tried there was amazing! The serving sizes are really big and the service was fantastic!! Our server Juan took amazing care of us, we will definitely be returning!

My Fiance and I are going to be have a small wedding ceremony here on Feb. 16th. When i called and asked about the possibility of doing such, the owner, Barbie, was AWESOME! What an experience. There is a reason why this place has been a Houston institution for so long. The pace of the meal is perfect, you never feel rushed. We loved each dish we tried, truly a fantastic meal.

Dined Friday night for the first time at Lomonte's. My group of 6 came in staggered due to children but the waitstaff had no issue with that. We started with drinks and a garlic cheese bread appetizer. Good stiff drink and the bread was tasty. For the main course, I had a side salad and the Picante Catfish based on recommendation from the waiter, Andres. I must say it was delicious. Honestly the picante sauce seemed like a cross between salsa and wing sauce, and it was fantastic. The angel hair pasta was light and well prepared, and the breaded catfish was great.

The reason for only 4 stars is that two of the orders for Pasta Lomonte -served with sliced chicken breast - had cold chicken. The waiter/manager quickly took care of the problem but two of the wives had to wait to start their dinner, so one star deducted.

We didn't have time for dessert, but we will definitely be back.

I came at a party. The beef medellion that I ordered was completely raw and was feeling like nothing close to a beef. Worst Italian restaurant that I have been.

I've been coming to this area for awhile and have been meaning to try it and the food was great! my wife and I shared bruschetta, (best I've had in years) and then I got chicken florentine and she had shrimp piccata. both dishes were well made and they customized our orders correctly.

only reason I gave the place 4 stars (wished I could do 4.5) was the service was good but not fantastic. our waitress was basically left alone and we would have had a special if we were offered them.

it won't stop me from coming back though
