Great place for a short day trip. Nice informational center with turtles in tanks and staff educating the public. Turtles are obviously well cared for and there is no cost to enter. Good for kids.
Cool place, wish they had more stuff to look at though...
Nice place. Small but has quite a few turtles being rehabilitated. Its nicely done.
Wonderful trip adventure!
Free! But donations are encouraged, to SAVE THE SEA TURTLES!
I love Loggerhead Marinelife Center! It's the perfect place to bring children or anyone from out of town for a free experience that gets visitors up-close to threatened and endangered marinelife. They offer plenty of opportunities to become involved such as educational programs, monthly beach cleanups, Turtle Walks during the summer, and fundraising events. It's an excellent cultural center and you'll walk away learning something new.
Such a Wonderful organization! We did the tour which I highly recommend. They are doing amazing coastal work with and for our turtle friends. A great place to stop by to learn about local species and conservation work.
Fantastic marine wildlife research center thats open to the public. Friendly responsive staff and volunteers. Saw a bunch of sea turtles that were rescued and well on their way to recovery. Great educational exhibit. Kids loved it! Can't wait to go back after their planned upgrade and expansion during hatching season
If you like turtles, this is a fun family activity.
A must go. Especially with kids. They do a great jobs in turtle rehab and education. If you can, adopt one of the turtle. But the most important things stop your use of plastic as much as you can, do not throw any plastic in the ocean, ban the plastic straws, do not buy any helium balloons and if your are a boater be careful..
Real cool place to go to n see all the great care for loggerheads
I will be back time n time again
Love to see all the super work thay all do n the loveing help

Enjoyed a fabulous day with friends as the center for caring of turtles was impressive to see how well they are taken care off.
Quite an amazing place. Impressive volunteer effort, combined with smart corporate support. Family-friendly, kids welcome, and smart docents to help visitors better understand the challenges facing endangered sea turtles. We loved our visit, spent our time and $$ supporting something that matters to us. Well worth the time to visit.
Small and plenty of experts to answer auestions. I bought great gifts that all go to the Loggerhead Rehabilitation center.
Beautiful what they do rescuing and taking care of the turtles
This place was amazing. We took our 2 kids that had a blast getting up close with turtles big and small. The staff is attentive, caring, and knowledgeable. You likely won't spend more than an hour here.
One of my favorite places in jupiter. Been going here my whole life and could never get sick of it. It's amazing what they do for these beautiful creatures! Turtle fest 2019 was amazing also
This is a wonderful organization and so fun to visit with the family. We learned about pollution in the ocean, about Green Sea and Loggerhead Turtles, also the gift shop is excellent!
I love turtles and it makes me happy to see such caring people take care of these beautiful God made creators
Beautiful place for the turtles to recover. And the play area for the kids was great!
Been here several time and it is always very informative and interesting. This place rehabs injures sea turtles as well as takes in baby turtles and brings them to the ocean. For I believe a $5 donation, you can look around the centre and participate in programs. This past summer, I also signed up to do a nighttime baby turtle release. This was an amazing experience. You get a little lesson before seeing the turtles, then you head out to the beach with night vision binoculars to see the turtles as they make their way to the ocean. Definitely pay this place a visit.
Pretty cool and educational for the kids. It's free, but make a donation....its for a good cause. Plan to spend about an hour.
Doing a fantastic job. Everyone should support these efforts
Must see and help the turtles and help them with a small donation
A brilliant educational center and sanctuary to rehabilitate and care for a variety of turtles! Staff are super friendly and really knowledgeable! If I lived in Florida I would love to volunteer here
This place is amazing! It is an excellent place to take a date or children. Seeing how they nurse turtles back to health is heartwarming and inspirational! Also, Peter is an amazing volunteer!
The park is a refuge for injured turtles and hatchlings. Great crew with volunteers and vets taking care of these sweet creatutes
Great field trip or quick day trip. Very nice staff and volunteers.
Frank the education docent was super knowledge about the hatchlings
Unacceptable worker especially Brandy
Bad Bad attitude
This is a nice little "nature" center, though, not very expansive. Inside, there are a few marine tanks showcasing indigenous and invasive species, turtle facts and info-graphics, and a gift shop. Out back, they have over a dozen turtles that are being rehabilitated, as well as a small play area and more educational signage. Here, you can also look into the hospital area and watch any exams that may be going on or talk with one of many knowledgeable volunteers.
Don't miss the tours the marine life center offers. You can get closer to the turtles and learn a lot about them. The Marinelife Center is a perfect stop on your way through Florida.
First class organization dedicated to a great cause. Very passionate staff who truly love what they do. Turtles are such a vital part of the ecosystem and they are committed to protecting them.
One of those places which makes makes I feel good in that they are doing and creating awareness of something to benefit the ecosystem and environment. Among other things they nurse turtles back to health. Go and donate.
This is a place I bring friends and family to time and time again. Wonderful educational facilities and friendly staff to learn about rehab sea turtles. The gift shop also has a great selection of items to help reduce your plastic use!
This place was so heartwarming. To get up close to the turtles and read a little bio on each one that was being rehabbed was wonderful. 2 turtles were released the day we went and they showed the video of it on a loop. Very neat that they let you see inside the hospital where they treat the turtles as well.we will be back next year!
Always a sweet experience! We love going to see the turtles and always bring people who are visiting from out of town. There's also a great beach spot behind!
Wonderful education, get to see how and why various sea turtles receive care, with a great kid friendly theme, and an impressive (and low price) gift shop. Will definitely return again.
A fun a very special way to learn and be close to the turtles that we are trying desperately to protect. A great place to bring small children and cheap activity to keep everyone occupied as they only ask for a donation if you can afford it.
Amazing place where humans do the right thing, to take care of our small brothers, the animals
Wonderful place to visit and see the turtles. Nice hiking trail to enjoy afterwords.
Excellent center, view sea turtles that are being rehabilitated. Knowledgeable tour guides explain all about sea turtles. A great local attraction, will be expanding to double its size in a year.
Outstanding seaturtle recovery facility. Receives injured or ill sea turtles from across southern Florida and mends them back to health for release back into the ocean. Educationally driven with lots of sea turtles on exibit. Facinating, fun place to learn about these sea creatures. Nature trails also available. Lots of parking. Great place!
My girlfriend I went here and can't wait to come back with friends and family who visit. It is a great place and a passionate team. We really appreciate how active they are in ocean conservation and have participated in their beach cleanups.
Stopped into the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and ended up staying much longer than anticipated. Loved the exhibits! Great gift shop! Wonderful turtles! We had wanted to go on a night egg hatching tour, but they were sold out. Instead we went on a nest excavation in the early morning, and we think it was the best! If you get the chance, go on a nest excavation tour. The top of the nest we helped to excavate was nearly 4' below the beach and the bottom was nearly 6' below the beach. We even rescued a hatchling still in the next and released it into the water.
So awesome to see the turtles and know that they are safe while they heal. I love that it s free but I always make sure to contribute so they can keep rescuing!
There isn t a lot to do here, but it is interesting to see the turtles as they recover. The staff are lovely they clearly have a passion for sea turtles. Learned a lot.
It was awesome seeing how they rehab the turtles. Great place to visit definitely go again if in the area.
Really great animal rehab facility for the local loggerhead turtles. Tanks have turtles that are being healed from injuries from boats, fishing lines, trash etc. The facility does a good job of informing you all about the turtles, their environment, and anything else you want to learn about. We were lucky enough to be down when they did a release back into the wild. It was a great experience, and would highly recommend a visit.
Great place to learn about the plight of the sea turtle. Also makes you think about trash in the oceans.
Doesn t take a long time to get through so plan your day to be short or however Long you want to stay.
Grateful for what they are doing here. Also sounds like they are getting ready to expand again.
Expect to spend extra time here to learn of all the things that are now happening in our Oceans! It is a learning experience for all ages. The Guy Harvey Wall is beautiful to look at and take photos. They only take donations, no fee. The gift shop is full of unique souvenirs. Worth the time to visit!
Wonderful place rescuing injured turtles
I love turtles, so I was always going to love this place. Entry is by donation which goes towards the cost of saving injured turtles. The centre is very educational and you can see the large sea turtles in big pools recovering from an injury or illness.
Highly recommend
Rescues sick and injured endangered turtles. Very informative and inspirational
You can enter for free and see some turtles and read their stories. Volunteers are standing by to answer any questions. It is very cool. You can buy some souvenirs and leave a donation.
What's not to love about cute sea turtles! Great place to visit for young and old!
Great place to visit if in the Jupiter area. Very educational.
Pretty cool place, but they make everyone go in if there is a little thunder.
Pretty cool place with very knowledgable volunteers. Great place to see turtles.
Nice educational activity to do with the kids, kind of small, but enjoyable!
Always a fun educational day when visiting the turtles here! Thank you for all that you do loggerhead!
The work these folks are doing is from the heart. Great knowledge staff. If you go it is free, but please leave a donation!
Enjoyed the exhibit and seeing the turtles. Fun place to visit for all ages.
Volunteers take care of injured turtles until they are released back into the sea
If you like sea turtles you will love this place. They do rehabilitation of turtles so they plan on getting the turtles healthy enough to re-release them to the wild.
Awesome place to check out the rehab turtles before being released back into the ocean.
Amazing place, with such beautiful turtles and amazing helpful staff. thank you for the experience!
