Very poor customer service and communication for the past two years. Questions would go unanswered for days, even months. Information that was needed (loss run) to get quotes from other insurance carriers to switch to another carrier was not sent in anywhere close to a reasonable time to get covered before my Lockton Affinity coverage expired. I began asking for information in January for my insurance to be switched in May. I would never recommend them.
I love working for Lockton Affinity. It's the best place to work. The management team is knowledgeable and friendly. It's a great environment to work in.

What a sham of an insurance company. I signed up for thier equipement protection insurance through PPA. My $1300 lens broke, I filed a claim and they paid me $88.
They will take your money and then not really provide insurance like they say they will. If your professional organization uses this insruance company I highly recommend you petition your organization to find a different insurance provider or find another professional organization that uses a reputable insurance company.
Because of Lockton Affinity's absolutely terrible insurance product, I canceld my PPA membership and I will nto re-join until they partner with a better organization. Stay away from this company!
Looking through all the reviews it seems like all the bad reviews are from past customers and all the good reviews are about the people working there. So seems like a good place to work but not a good place to be a client.

Lockton Affinity's success can be heavily attributed to three words, "We Live Service." And they most certainly do! There is a small team of professionals to answer your phone call who already know the "ins and outs" of your market because they specialize in insuring people that belong in these Affinity groups. If your main contact is gone, there is always someone there who can help out and knows your business just as well!
This company has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Good luck trying to get someone on the phone after you buy a policy. Even when emailing them, they give you very generic information and never give you specific answers to specific questions. I can't imagine how they would handle an actual claim. I will never again do business with Lockton Affinity!!!!

Read the fine print regarding automatically signing up for their automatic renewals. When you try to notify them of non-renewal they tell you it is too late - even when it isn't. When you try to cancel the upcoming policy just prior to renewal, their terms are to bill you for the following year in its entirety with no refund whatsoever for the unused portion of the year. You must read the fine print, get out of the renewal earlier than you might believe necessary, and comply with the fine print to the letter. If you are not already using Lockton, run, not walk, away from this company as fast as you can.

Trying to deal with this company is not pleasant! I tried adding my studio property to my current insurance policy and the customer service agent was very rude. She was rushing me to get my information. Never asked for my policy number or email. Didn't clarify spelling for the properties/businesses added. Who knows if I'll ever get the updated information that I need.

I was offered a position at Lockton and given until March 26 to accept the offer. I had another offer which I was busy comparing benefits and pay and informed Lockton that I would have my decision to them by March 25. Before I had even given them an answer, I received an email on March 25 saying that Lockton has given the position to someone else. Not an explanation as to why they didn t honor their own timeline given to me. How unprofessional is that?! They had no respect for the time I needed to make the right decision for myself. Luckily I took a much better position elsewhere with better pay, better benefits, bonuses, perks - literally everything! Thankfully that is not my place of employment!!
Working at Lockton Affinity has been amazing! I'm a new associate coming from a financial institution, and the way that Lockton treats their associates should be showcased. They treat their employees with the highest level of gratitude and respect and can't wait to see what the future holds!

I've been using their services for about 10 years now. In the past year I've been shuffled through 3 different account managers. No new contact information was sent to me, I just get bounced emails and disconnected numbers.
While they have always been fantastic in the past their recent performance has been aggravating and concerning. I look for stability and safety with insurance, lately Lockton has made me nervous.
Lockton Affinity has been the best place for me to work for the last 4.5 years. Their management and leadership is top notch. They provide a fun atmosphere for all associates - and promote furthering associates education. Work hard - play hard atmosphere. Love it.

Like others have said in reviews, if you are put on auto renew this company will take your money and use company policy as justification. I contracted this firm through my business association thinking if the association recommends them they should be good. After one year the association sent an email alert advising its members to detach from Lockton Affinity. I sent in my email at that time. I didn t hear anything back until after I had been renewed at which time I said I want my money back. It has been less than one month since the renewal date. The rep responded with once the renewal is in place it is considered mid term and no refund will be issued . In other words once they get money they hold onto it regardless. This response is the customer service mentality of a dishonest business. This is the exact response;

A refund will not be issued as the policy renewed effective June 24th, 2018, which has already occurred. At this point the policy would be cancelled mid-term as we cannot backdate a cancellation. If you would still like to cancel the policy effective today or in the future, then I will need the previously emailed document returned to me, but be advised a refund will not be issued.

I've worked at Lockton Affinity now for over 4 years and I absolutely love it! I love the work I get to do and the people I work with are absolutely the best! The company is still family owned and it shows. They really take care of their employees. I've also never had better benefits. Great 401k match and recently they added health insurance coverage for infertility treatments which is practically unheard of. This has been amazing for me and took such a huge burden off of us while we build our family. Also, 12 weeks 100% paid maternity leave!!!! This company just gets it. Take care of your employees and they'll do great things for your company.

Seriously the best customer service I have dealt with in a long time. Over the years of starting my company, they are so quick with everything, the customer support workers are so punctual and do exactly what you need. I cannot say enough good things.

Horrible experience. Applied, received a certificate of insurance for the wrong practice location and old expiration date-- I was essentially sent my old certificate. Finally got one with the correct, updated information. Requested a copy of receipt for my records, it's been two weeks and I still don't have it. Just received a phone call saying there was an IT issue and they have next to none of my information on file. I was asked if I wanted to refill it out over email or the phone-- why would I pick electronically if you couldn't get it right the first time? While the lady that called was apologetic, she let me know that she wasn't aware I had even been in contact with anyone at Lockton-- I've had multiple phone calls over the past 3wks with simple requests that still haven't been fulfilled. One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company. I would avoid this place.
Lockton Affinity is an amazing company to work for. They offer great pay and benefits, but more importantly, they really care about their customers and have a great corporate culture. Prior to being an employee, I was a client of Lockton Affinty so I can attest to their commitment to excellence from both viewpoints.
Horrible customer response to simple requests. I asked for a certificate of the policy I paid for and, after repeated requests, canceled the policy and went with another company. Also, the website is lousy. Want to update your payment info? Look at policy details? Good luck with that. Stay away from Lockton Affinity!
