Brilliant from start to finish. Hotels brilliant

Went last year it was brilliant,booked to go again this year but sadly was cancelled due to the pandemic,very impressed that the day after they cancelled it the refund was in my bank,a very good company.

Fabulous budget holidays in amazing hotels by lochs.

We have just spent 4 fantastic days at the Ardgartan Hotel. From being picked up on one of their luxury coaches to being dropped off we have had the most memorable holiday to date. The drivers are characters, we had Dave for the journey to and from Scotland and one of the days with Darren on the other two days and the company has to be proud of them, funny, friendly and very knowledgeable and they can drive! Claire and her team in the hotel are superb, so friendly yet so efficient in their varied job roles. The food is very good quality and there is enough in quantity with plenty of choice. There are entertainers each night and if you get the chance enjoy Jamie Wood who really knows how to play a guitar, cannot believe he isn't a nationwide star. Cannot recommend Lochs and Glens enough and we will be booking another holiday very soon.

Have enjoyed many holidays with L&G. Looking forward to returning again post Coronavirus.

Beautiful located hotels.Friendly and always helpful staff.Comfortable coaches ,knowledgeable drivers.Never had a bad holiday ,been holidaying with them for over 20 years. Would definitely recommend them.

Great coaches, drivers, hotels and food - but not so fun now for solo travellers (who have to sit next to a stranger for the whole holiday) now the coaches are fully booked! You can't get a seat to yourself now (which everyone wants).Better for the company though. There seem to be lots of single places available now, where once they were all booked up. I think this was bound to happen but I loved the old days when you could snooze without risking your head lolling onto a stranger's shoulder.....!

Everything about this company is perfect...accommodation, coaches, drivers, food, staff all 100%. Cannot recommend enough.

We had a lovely break at the Highland Hotel, from the minute you get on the coach your holiday starts. Colin our coach driver and tour guide was considerate at all times and his knowledge was phenomenal. Thank you so much.

The holiday at Loch Long was well thought out, each day was very pleasurable, the food was good, the service and accommodation was good.
We traveled from Nofolk, in a very modern comfortable coach which was with us for the duration of the holiday, the traveling to the holiday took us approximately 11 hrs, but the return journey ghastly, we left the hotel 07.45, traveled just 2hrs to Moffat where we stayed till 11.30, which I and a lot of the passengers thought the same. It was very unnecessary.
We finally arrived at our stop home 20.30, 12.45hrs the final stop was 21.30 at Lowestoft.
This being the last thing of our holiday has a very lasting memory, one never to be forgotten

Loch's and glen's holidays are fantastic hotel's tours and service in there hotel's is second to non friendly helpful and the food need I say more

Just returned from Artgarden Hotel and had an enjoyable holiday.
Only downside was that we didn't travel on a Lochs & Glens coach and the replacement was in my opinion not as comfortable nor as big hence seat numbering meant we had to be seated on the very back seat which was a very bumpy ride..
Food and staff in the hotel were excellent.
The bedrooms in this hotel are very large.
Overall excellent value for money.

Excellent hotel at Ardgartan. Fantastic value for money 5 day break. Really worthwhile. God trips and evening entertainment.

Best holiday I've ever had all I did was get on & off the coach on trips out .no cooking cleaning tidying up just pure bliss next 1s already booked & we've promised ourselves at least 1 a year (p.s the scenery is fabulous & drivers so informative & helpful) thank you everyone from manager to waitresses , reception & cleaners & of course bus drivers :)

We have just come back from Loch Tummel , beautiful place , the staff were very helpful ,I really don t know how they do it for the money , the food was excellent, our room and the whole hotel was very clean ,our coach driver was Tracey first class driver very pleasant and told us a lot about the area we were visiting , going to another lochs and glens hotel in October ,really looking forward to it ,

They can't be beaten on price and are very good value for money.

Going again on a Lochs and Glens holiday. This will be about my sixth trip with them. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. First class in all aspects from their drivers, hotel staff and catering. Traveling to and from is a bit of a tiring experience, but after a good diner and rest it is well worth it. I would like to thank Lochs and Glens for all their great efforts in making this a holiday to definitely look forward to.

Five stars everytime, we have done five New Year breaks and a summer one.. Drivers, staff, managers always a pleasure to get to know. Booked again for this year at Loch Tummel.. Come September we will be booking for the next one. Highly Recommended.

We have just returned from a holiday at the Ardgarten Hotel.It is an absolutely beautiful hotel in a magnificent setting on Loch Long. everyone was very professional and also friendly.It was a very good holiday

Holiday 28th September at Loch Awe Hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Food very good. Well done to the manager and her staff. Been on a few holidays with Lochs and Glens now and can't wait for our next one in Feb!

A group of young at heart WI ladies went to Loch Tummel in 2018 and had such a great time we decided to go to Loch Achray this year 2019. Yet again we had a lovely experience and thanks to Morag our driver for making the long trip so pleasant. Looking forward to visiting another hotel in 2020.

It's a great way to travel and see places on a coach tour ,...have been on lot of holidays.with lochs& Glens and there a very good company to travel with ...always plenty to do , good prices .

Enjoyed our relaxing break. We have beed to 4 hotels which are lovely with great choice of food anf the staff sre very friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Looking forward to our next mountain and mistletoe this year.

Why wouldn't you have a holiday with this company? Good value for money. So much food to eat, friendly staff to look after you, and a driver to get you there and about. Fan-tast-ic!!!!!!!

Staying at Loch Ackray hotel .Staff are poorly trained room is cold asked for heater ,told they have run out en suite freezing .Having to run shower to heat it ,no shelf or cupboard to put toiletry on . Lift breaks down every morning so far . Bed is rock hard .talked to other guests their beds are the Same .television is old 12 inch crt ,remote is faulty no spares wi fi keeps dropping out never going to come back.

What a huge disappointment this trip was. This was my third time with the company and it was so good the first twice that I persuaded 7 friends to use them. Nothing wrong with the hotel (apart from the heat which the staff could not control they told us) and the hotel staff - they were fantastic.
The coach and the driver were a different story though. He was rude and ignorant to the point of ignoring his passengers and driving in a way which endangered them.
When I sent a complaint to the company about his shocking treatment of us, the answer I received was " everything had been ok for a year" Maybe it had been but it certainly was not for our holiday weekend. He totally ruined it for us.
It's not the complaints a company receive but how it handles them and their response was not acceptable to me or my party.

Excellent company to travel with.

Very enjoyable holiday a couple of years ago. Wanted to go this year, but no joy, so have rearranged for 2021.

We booked with Lochs and Glens and stopped at The Highlands Hotel , Port William. We had a fabulous 6 days at this Hotel and you could not fault it . The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a cooked breakfast everyday which was spot on and the dinning room service was excellent. Three course evening meal you could not fault. Entertainment every night . We had room 206 which had a fantastic view over the Loch. Our coach driver was called Tommy and he took us out every day to different places, Boat trip on Loch Ness, train journey from Dingwall to the Kyle of Lochalsh, Oban, Mallaig and much more . The coach driver Tommy knew lots of History of the places and he told us some cracking jokes and plenty of comfort stops . I would highly recommend this company.

Very friendly

Lock Awe Hotel a majestic hotel right on the shores of Lock Awe, the food was very good, various choices and plenty of it. The views from the hotel were really something maybe our room was a little on the small size but cleanliness and room maintenance was great. The manager and her staff were wonderful couldn't do enough for their customers. The coach was comfortable and plenty of stops of 30 minutes or so and our pickup driver started the journey off well, and our drivers relief driver during our stay was a local guy who had the whole coach in his hands with facts and figures about the area not to say laughing. The main driver (two ii's) was OK but not a company man, with tales of if we didn't put anything less than 'Excellant' down on the holiday comment form he would be in trouble!!!!! also mentioned that he was employed as a driver not tour guide, he did that because he was a nice guy!! Also told us if we wanted to tip hotel staff leave it with the breakfast staff it was split with everyone but on leaving noticed a sign saying room staff tips should be left in room to late to show our gratitude to wonderful girls.
Great company and a good holiday experience will come again.

Hope to make it my 4th this year. Lucky me to find this company with pick up point just 10 minutes from my home in North Wales.

Never been on such a pleasurable holiday. From the minute my suitcase was taken by the driver until the minute I got off the bus it was amazing. Thank you so much Lochs and Glens

Another fantastic holiday. Ardgartan hotel beautiful with stunning views but it lacks the character of the other older hotels. Once again Peter our driver was fantastic the best of the best. Trips were stunning too even see snow amazing. Now looking to book another

Unfortunately we had to have a refund, but we will be booking again, Lochs and Glens payed our money back into my account promptly, see you in 2021

Brilliant holiday, all the staff and drivers were pleasant and efficient they made our holiday, we were at the Loch Achray Hotel the rooms were a bit tired but it is late on in the season, but overall a very enjoyable break thank you all.

Love lochs n Glenn's so much going again n again trying different hotels, recommend to have everything arranged for you n a relaxing way. Nothing is too much trouble for this company, I left my camera at a hotel n they posters in back to me promptly with no cost for me. I just love them been four times so far. Red mend for all ages.

Stayed at Ardgartan Hotel last week, my second visit. The accommodation, service and food were all excellent. Wee Stevie our coach driver made all the excursions fun and enjoyable. Amazing value for money .

Just returned from Loch Awe with my step daughter . We both has a wonderful break and can not fault Lochs and Glens one bit ! Everything was wonderful . The journey long but comfortable ,fun ,informative.plenty of comfort breaks . Excellent food and service. Stunning views . Great trips out. Very polite and helpful drivers . Everything positive ,just wish the stays were longer !!!

Regrettably, i have to say dont go in winter. I stayed at Loch Tummel at the time of the Beast from the East and the heating was on for only very short periods. Even the girl on reception was freezing. Poor thing. I did make a comment at More

I can highly recommend these holidays I went for the first time with Loch and Glen's staying at The Inversnaid Hotel and it was an amazing experience.The accommodation was excellent .Staff very obliging and friendly. Food excellent especially as I am a fussy eater and always found plenty that I liked. The coach journey was very good and Tony our driver was so full of information it made each trip a real pleasure.I have not been to Scotland before but I would very much like to go again with Lochs and Glen's.

Our second visit to this lovely hotel. Staff really helpful and entertainment every evening was excellent. The food was sufficient and well cooked. A very enjoyable 5 day break. The downside was picking up and dropping off a group which put at least an hour and a half each way on an already long journey.

Absolutely brilliant. I really can't think of any negatives. Excellent coach drivers, friendly staff, good food, spacious & comfortable bedrooms, entertainment every evening & truly magnificent views....what more could you ask for.

The Highland Hotel was excellent. Spotlessly clean. Food very good and service superb. The whole trip from start to finish was well run, Pick up on time. Our driver and host was Paula who went out of her way to make sure our holiday was enjoyed. Will be booking another trip in the New Year.

Beware when booking a Lochs and Glens holiday that you do not end up on a contracted in coach instead of the luxury Lochs and Glens coach. We had to endure a 12 hour journey to and from Scotland in a contracted in coach. We had the use of a Lochs and Glens coach for our time in Scotland so know what a difference there is.

Just come back from our 7th Lochs and Glens holiday and have to say this was a bad experience nothing like the previous ones.Have never once complained before so this says I do not complain unnecessarily.Four of us booked together and were allocated the back seat not knowing that a fifth person would be seated in the middle. For 5 average sized adults this is a very tight and uncomfortable position for a 14 hour journey. The coach broke down temporarily 3 times on route and even though it was for a relatively short time sat on the hard shoulder of the motorway with the traffic still passing at 70 mph is not very pleasant. The driver had said he couldn't load the night before the journey because the coach was not back from the previous Scotland trip. Then the toilet was out of order as it had not been replenished with water so could not flush. The driver we had had never done our trip before and did not have any knowledge of Scotland at all. All previous ones have been excellent with lots of information which makes for a much more interesting holiday. The most upsetting and disturbing was a party of about 40 people from a local pub were on board and about 8 of them including the person seated between us began drinking alcohol at about 10.30 and as time went on with the vast amount of alcohol being consumed including Bottles of spirits some were very drunk and the noise and singing just got louder and louder.They were walking around the coach with glasses ,spilling drink, all in all made a very miserable 14 hour journey.When I asked the driver what the policy was about drinking alcohol was told I need to take it up with Lochs and Glens. This I did but the response from the customer service manager was not acceptable.She said because of costs they will always sell the middle seat but would tell the booking department to ensure this was made clear. To the coach breaking down she just said this can happen to any one.The toilet with no water doesn't matter as it is only for emergency use and they stop every 2 -2half hours.The driver without any knowledge,well they have got to be new sometime and they don't advertise a tour guide.Lastly some people like a drink and they do not have a policy about drinking alchol.The hotel and food was good as usual but the response leaves a lot to be desired.I would like to think it is a one off but by the response and some other reviews makes it look as though threy are cutting corners and the start of a slippery slope.I do feel it is not the complaints one gets but the way they are handled that makes the big difference.

As always absolutely amazing!!! Me and my girlfriend regularly go with Lochs and Glens and the coach journey is always long but I enjoy every minute of it. The trips are fab and the scenery fantastic. I can't fault Lochs and Glens personally.

Wonderful holidays every time can't wait till next one in October

Our first trip with Lochs and Glens to the Ardgarten Hotel 31/1/2020 has been one of the best coach holidays we've ever been on. The Hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable, staffing very courteous and efficient. Dining staff to housekeeping. We requested a room with walk in shower due to husbands disability, however there was no seat in the shower, A request was made at reception and was told not a problem there would be one waiting on our return from our day out. Nothing is too much trouble. Jude our driver was one of the most professional drivers/ courier. Our 4 days out were fabulous and Jude pointed out all the places of interest and gave us information along the way. We are very impressed and will definitely be going on more Lochs and glens Holidays.
