We liked this place. They have the new style burgers that taste like real ingredients. Fries and onion rings are good too. Good selection of beers too. Will definitely visit again.

Do you like peanut butter on your burger? No? Try the PB&B burger odd combo, but surprisingly good.

Great burger spot I was surprised how good and juicy the burgers were surprisingly really good. Unsweetened Ice tea with lemonade was really good. Service was great. Mac and cheese bites I wouldn t buy again. Onion rings were delicious.

Burger is Meh. Fries are Meh. Milkshake was delicious.

Ordered through door dash and the bag wasn t staples shut, was missing the complete item ordered. Refunded me a fraction through the app, first time this has happened with local burger. The $2 refund was an insult, hopefully between Local and Door Dash they get it together

Burgers and drinks are amazing, staff is always friendly and service is quick. It s must visit when visiting Bay Shore!

Food was delicious but don't expect a big burger. Get double patties if you like your meat. Great fries and onion rings. I prefer my coleslaw a bit sweeter. Definitely a good value.

Local Burger is consistently delicious. The burgers toppings/concepts are well designed. The meat is good quality and cooked to order. The fries are solid too.

It was my first time there so I ordered at the counter and seated myself (not knowing I should have asked to be seated). Cashier was passive aggressive and told my friend and I that the waitresses don t make money when we do that. Who says that to a customer??? We obviously weren t withholding tips as he had been tipped as a cashier when we ordered. So I suggested that he should ask if customers are ordering out or eating in to prevent that from happening again. He decides that s his cue to argue with me. He keeps going back and forth with me instead of taking a suggestion to help future guests. First and last time for me at local burger! Burgers weren t even that great and he d forgotten to gives us our drinks which we also had to remind him about.

This was the best burger I ve had in a long time. So fresh and the fried Mac and cheese bites were awesome!

Take a chance on PB and bacon burger. My two favorite things. Worth it.

After arriving I was inform by the hostess that the couple at the high top would be done soon and that I would get that table. I waited, the table was cleared and a white couple whom just arrived were immediately seated at the table I was told I was waiting for. When I confronted the host he said they called ahead and made a reservation. If I was told that there was a list and wasn t given the impression that I was next to be seated I would ve made a more informed choice on weather I wanted to wait or make alternative choices. Instead of giving information about the table we were waiting for he could ve simply given an estimated wait time instead of false information to the customer, it is poor customer service.

Nice decor, feel and atmosphere. Great food and beverage selection including craft beer and spirits.

Overpriced in my opinion. Burgers were small.

Gastropub vibe with the quintessential burger and some tasty fries. Make sure to grab a shake while you're there.

Good food, good atmosphere
Tried 4 different burgers so far and I have not been disappointed. Beers on tap pretty good! Alcoholic beverages are a little weak. Servers have been very nice and attentive. It can get very busy be a little patient grab a beer from the bar and view the menu. Its on the wall screens or grab one by the front. Parking avalible in the back. Wheel chair accessible in the back too!

Good food but small burger patties hate to see them skimp out on that.

They don't have very many vegan options. And the hamburger bun that is vegan is absolutely disgusting.

I waited an hour yesterday picking up an order I asked nicely how long it s going to take and was told 10 mins asked again 30 mins later I was told 10 mins again if it was going to take an hour to get the food just tell me I ll come back don t keep telling me 10 mins over and over again

One of our favorites. We know when we go there we'll get good service and a good meal. Not fancy, but kid friendly.

Everything good but y all gotta be more generous with the seasoning like I m white but whoever made the recipe for the Cajun fries must be named Susan

My previous favorite burger was 5 guys. Now its local burger co. Great burgers little smal but the fries make up for it, you get so much. 5/5 would eat again

Pleasant atmosphere, nice menu,
No Burger options on cooking came out overcooked. Everthing tasted fresh. Quality ingredients. Attention to detail was good.Had the pb& b the bacon was too overpowering and tasted mainly of salt. Fries were great, hush puppies had great flavor but way too dense. Other items were well received by family. Would give it another try

Good food, burger and chicken sandwich were tasty but the burger is on the small side.

My favorite place for lunch. The PB&B is my go to (peanut butter & bacon). Burgers there are fantastic and their cocktails are just as good. Recommend the root & rye. Their rootbeer is on tap. All the soda has real sugar and the bartenders and waiters all are very personable. Couldn't recommend it more.

Added Gratuity on a party of six (3 adults & 3 children)? I m not sure if it s the owners rule, or the server took it upon herself to add the gratuity? I understand gratuity is added to a check to protect the server from being stiffed on a tip, but come on! It s a gamble I suppose, guarantee the server receives at least the gratuity, but risk a higher tip.
For what it s worth the meal was pretty good. The fact is with so many options in the area (Babylon, West Islip, Bay Shore, and Islip), I ll more than likely look elsewhere to dine. If I have a craving for one of their burgers, maybe I ll order take out, maybe....

The sweet potato fries are delicious. The burgers are medium sized. I ordered a chicken sandwich and burger and ended up being too full. Amazing taste and recommended to all !

Local in the media, nothing fries, pretty good burgers but the various ingredients cannot be distinguished inside. the restaurant however is very nice and the prices low.

our burgers were awesome! cooked perfectly ingredients were so fresh. sad about no horseradish fried pickles being removed from the menu, but the onion rings and french fries were fantastic. can't wait to go back!

We just returned from an enjoyable meal at Local Burger . After reading the reviews we were skeptical. I can happily say that the food was better than expected , every dish was unique in its own way. Well thought out and very tasty . We had a very personable server , Liz , and she was very helpful and patient. They have a soda counter with pressured seltzer, different flavor syrups and malteds , black and white malted on the board . The ambiance is perfect for their cuisine , it's a modern hamburger joint.
prices were quite reasonable , $ 25 for two meals , sides and drinks . Portions weren't over sized , they were right on . I'm over 200 # and can put it away and was happy . We will absolutely be returning and recommend it to anyone who can go there for what it is, simple ,innovative , friendly, reasonable and delicious .

Love what's happening to downtown Bay Shore. Revitalization all around. Local Burger was okay.2nd or 3rd time visiting.Ordered out this time. The only thing,fries were very,very salty, I had no problem returning and asking for unsalted fries but if that's your thing,have at it.Just watch B/P Pricing is a bit much for a burger that's not that flavorful trust me ,I'm not writing them off the staff was welcoming,the ambiance was nice a bit hipster-ish which was great,all in all,I wasn't hungry any longer.

Have to give a shout out to Local Burger Co. We've been eating here for a while not knowing how awesome they actually are!
My niece has Celiac and is allergic to gluten, soy and dairy. Finding a restaurant for her to enjoy is extremely hard.
Local Burger however has not only made their food with people like her in mind they have also made it DELICIOUS!
I also wish I got the name of the server behind the bar who helped us this afternoon because he was very knowledgeable about what she can and can't have. We ordered her the chicken sandwich with the gluten free bun but without missing a beat, he informed us that the bun was made with dairy. Had he not told us that she would have had a much different experience today.
I almost never go on social media and rave about a restaurant, but when I can watch my 2 year old niece scarf down delicious frys for the first time in months I have to give credit when credit is due.
Thanks again Local Burger Co. In Bay Shore for looking out for my niece and everyone with food allergies!

Mason is the homie. Great food. Great service. Love everything about it. Probably the best local joint in town. Easily a great choice for a nearby snack and shack.

If you just want to stuff your face with delicious food, try this place out. Hamburger was ridiculously good, I had the 4 am fries with the cheese and gravy... amazing. Even the shake was great. This is not your run of the mill burger spot.

The REAL DEAL! Burgers are created at the time of order. Handcrafted fresh beef burgers, wraps, fries and more. Enjoy how the logo and location are heat-branded into the bun tops. Kid friendly, and as of this post, employees of the nearest hospital receive a 15% discount one day of the week. Sorry, I cannot remember the day of the week the hospital employees are eligible for the discount. Call the establishment for more information.

As usual always a good experience. Not too long of a wait even though it was 7pm on a Friday. Waitresses were very attentive. 5/5

Great burger. Onion rings tasty but over battered. Side of beans were very tasty

Until today i was convinced that their main priority it was quality. French fries were swimming on oil. Kindly point it out to the waitress - no looking for free food- only for them to be aware it. But the waitress only laugh with the remark that "they are fried" I don't have a doubt that we can have healthy ff in any other fast food chain for half of the price.

Delicious, tasty, and memorable. Do yourself a favor and try the truffle fries with maple mayo, and their burger with peanut butter, cheddar, and bacon! The team is so friendly and welcoming. Food comes out fast, and HOT. My sister and I really enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be back!

Good burgers if you don't expect a restaurant quality burger. Think Five Guys or All American. Drinks are a little expensive and service in general is ok.

Food was good. Service was very good. But if they had put anymore ice in my margaritas I would not had anything to drink. It was not ten dollar drink. Four for service and food one due to drink. Two sips it was gone.

Had the atomic burger and the mac-n-cheese burger. They were both juicy and delicious! Atomic burger wasn't too hot and the mac-n-cheese burger was ooey gooey cheesy! Onion rings and fries sides- nice big portions!
