Local burger is a modern day burger joint In bay shore Popular with the locals so the name fits Burgers are better than good an 8 to 10 bucks, a bargain if you ask me. Fries are excellent. Go with the Cajon nicely spiced. I had the chicken sandwich, nice fry on it, Cole slaw on top, My son loved his hot dog Full bar looked nice Beer on tap, very nice Full wine list Overall a well done job Will be back

I came across this place looking for somewhere new to get burgers and am glad I landed here. I've tried most of the burgers on the menu and they're all delicious. The burger is soft and juicy and each one has their own unique flavor. Pair it with fries and a shake and you'll be satisfyingly full. The atmosphere is hip with brick interior but also family friendly. You can order to pick up or for delivery, using Uber Eats, as well. I love that you can use Apple/Android Pay here too.

Awesome burger place with a make your own burger option, including a vegetarian burger, and lots of various toppings and sauces. For those that aren't so creative, they have some signature burgers to try too. The branded buns are cool. The fry flavor selection is great (yes there are several different types) and the milkshakes are yummy. The drink menu was interesting but we didn't have time to try anything. Will definitely go back.

This was a great burger place. The inside of the restaurant has somewhat of a steam punk design with neon lights and nice designs on the walls. It also has a bar and TVs showing sports. As far as the food goes the burgers are pretty good. Very good flavor, however the only complaint I had was the texture was a little too much like meatloaf. The patty fell apart more than a normal burger would. The fries and milkshakes I ordered were great too. However the onion rings were disappointing. They were coated in batter instead of breading so they tasted more like hot, greasy doughnuts than onion rings. Other than that the experience was great, I enjoyed myself so I think you will too.

I was so supprized by the flavor of these burgers. They feel like you went out and make a family recipe made by your grandma. Plus the sides are killer as well. And try there sauces you wont be disappointed

Fantastic service, friendly waiter, good options, wonderful fries, and great sauces. Unfortunately I find nothing amazing about the burgers themselves. They are made super flat and thin almost like the fast food style. It was a nice place to grab food and I wouldn't write it off for the future, but not a place I'll seek out.

Hits all the right notes for food and experience. Great selection of specialty burgers (had a "Champaign Supernova" for New Years Day, it was tasty and excellently cooked) and tasty sides (ordered "Fiddy Fiddy" which is half fries half onion rings). Fries were a bit greasy (think Five Guys) but still good. All beers seem to be from Long Island (Brooklyn was appropriately included because geography lessons). Bonus points for clean bathrooms, excellent service, and good prices. Super bonus point for USB outlets throughout the restaurant and a selection of USB cords on request for you battery topping off needs. Meal for 2 with two beers came out to $33. Would definitely return for a burger when near Bayshore.

Local has good food and it has good service. The atmosphere is nice and can be a fun place to eat. I have been there twice. The hamburgers are about the size of a Wendy s double stack, (with many burger options to choose from) the buns are a standard burger bun. The French fries are also good, but the quantity is small. It s a good place for lunch, but if you are going for dinner you will find it to be less than satisfying. Not the best value, I think they can do a little better.

Had the local it was very good and chili cheese fries, loved. My husband made his own burger which was a double he loved his but he should have got 2 burgers because he was still a little hungry. Also good cocktails.

Just not my kind of place. Really wish they had chicken burgers or at least avocado as a topping. Fries were greasy and was disappointed with the one speck of truffle oil. They do have shakes with or without alcohol tho so if I'm in the area maybe I would try that but nothing else.

My first visit to Local Burger, was expecting a better experience. Food came out cold...a big no-no in my book. The burger was nothing special, very small portions, and I m not a big eater. When I go out for a burger, I guess I expect something better than I d make at home. Probably won t visit again.

There is a good selection of burgers, sandwiches, and sides. I had a pulled pork burger with french fries and a peanut butter milkshake. They all three were very good! My waitress Stephany was very friendly and attentive. The milkshake was a little on the expensive side ($8) but it was very rich and creamy, so I honestly have no complaints. Overall, I will definitely come back again and I will recommend it to my friends! (I came alone.)

Very delicious food, and the lemonade is very sour (delicious for those who enjoy! I'm one of those people). Portions seem small but are very filling, and the customization options help make your meal unique. I would have rated five stars, but I've been going here for three years now and I've quickly learned that the taste quality is hit or mess depending on the day you go.

Food is only OK. Thin burger patties and no toppings. The local beer they sell is terrible and also expensive. You'll be better off having a Heineken. Service is a little lacking as you can expect from all the teenagers that run the place. Good for a quick bite but If you have been around the block, spend another $20 and go across the street.

I can t tell you how much I love this place. The burgers are AMAZING. I love the local and the hangover. The fries are awesome and definitely get the garlic aioli dipping sauce. They always deliver super fast when I order from door dash. I also love how much they have been supporting the local community.

I couldn't help but notice while looking up the phone number for take out a review written by "Melanie Raik"... I was next to this couple when her experience unfolded and she attacked the bartender that was nothing short of sweet and kind to her. I hope karma exists so someone like this person can be struck by a freight train. ...anyway great place. awesome food and awesome people. unfortunately terrible naggy stuck up customers to witness apparently..

Have to say i was very excited when this place opened then disappointment set in...i ordered the burger with mac and cheese and well the burger quality itself was a step up from white castle and the mac and cheese was dry dry dry and the bacon was dry and burnt.i also ordered the 4am fries which ended up being 1am fries...small portion drowned in very salty gravy with very little cheese...fries were mushy..the shake was good, the service was good the decor is good.....the food... nothing special i most likely will not be rushing back anytime soon..sorry

We love coming to Local Burger, but out of all the locations Patchouge is our favorite! We always go there, we decided to try out the Bayshore location and our food was okay. My burger was over-cooked and just tasted dry. My milkshake was delicious! When it came to the other order it was missing a few things and we felt bad constantly asking the waitress to bring us items. Overall, it was clean. Prefer the Patchouge location for sure!

My hangover burger was good but the patty was kind of dry and ran out of taste after awhile, their fried chicken sandwich was ok, not much for taste even with their special bbq sauce and their regular burger with their special sauce wasnt special, almost tasteless. I wouldnt return...

Great service, my burger-tender Kendra was very nice and even though she thinks Captain America's the best avenger (which we all know Tony Stark is) she made sure my order was right and my drink was made to perfection. It's hard to find someone who seems to engage with the customer. That's important.
