Very supportive and understanding staff there a great pillar to the community

Amazing cause for Empowering People In the Community

Currently in the Solutions For Youth Program. The staff so far are all wonderful, the SFY facilitators are all sweethearts. It's a really nice environment to be in.

Causeway Foundation assists in supporting the Causeway Work Centre - an amazing organization that has just celebrated 40 years in Ottawa. Causeway assists people with a variety of challenges find gainful, satisfying, positive employment!

Great organization & programs too bad their clients are negatively impacted by the min wage hire

Long process just for help to get ready for a job. I think March of Dimes is much better help for people with disabilities.

I find them to quick and very little time for help and development.

Wonderfully caring people who want to do what they can to help people to find a job and be successful at it too!!

I'm a housing worker and had to bring a client here to see about employment opportunities. The Employment Worker was great (I don't remember his name), but the receptionist was super rude. I also think the "no cell phone use" in the reception area is super absurd. Some of us are on our phones for work, and it is a hassle to have to leave clients in the area and then go and answer the phone.
Also, I had to email Margarita to cancel an appointment with a client, and she didn't even bother to respond. Pretty unprofessional.

They help people find work and don't give up on people having a hard time. Although not all caseworkers are a good fit for me, all it takes is a little bit of effort to find one that does. I have always been satisfied with the services provided.

Although Causeway is a great program, my only concern is how job coaches really see the fundamentals of employment opportunities and what they are getting their clients into. Job coaches need to negotiate with employers on what is best for their clients in terms of training and preparation, and not end up being taken advantage of by the employer.

Other than their employment program, they have a great cafeteria, gym, and other resources.

Despite 4/5 stars, I highly recommend.

Great organization that has been helping people in Ottawa for decades

I use their Wellness and Fitness Centre that has a personal trainer who customizes a workout plan for you. The gym is fully loaded with pretty much everything you would see in a mainstream gym. The personal trainer is also able to certify you as a personal trainer, one level at a time; if that's something you're interested in.
Causeway also has a resource centre with workers who can help you find employment if that's something you are struggling with.

Very nice people here that work hard to try and help you find employment. If you're in need of work I would advise you try this place out.
