I also could not find the front door and when your on crutches with a broken foot, every step counts. Long story short, these people are lost. They have called me by the wrong name since day one and have gone as far as coming into the room with this other persons file wanting to fit me for a shoe when what I needed was a knee walker. Make sure you get a receipt for anything you might return. They just called me, by the wrong name, wanting there walker back I returned a month ago. I hope there is some other company that can help me with my orthopedic needs. Sorry for the bad review kids.

The building is super meh, but the people who work there are really nice. Parking on the very back and the side near the Target are the only spots that aren't difficult to get out of.

I asked the "brace guy" how much the brace was for my hand/thumb & he said he didn't know actual cost but that price could depend on if I met my deductible if req'd. Said to call the # on the paper he gave me & they'd tell me. He didn't tell me that I needed to be in or out of network - I thought it would be billed through my Dr office, but it's billed through Elizur - yet has my ortho office's label on it. So I've tried calling 3 days & finally got through, I asked how much a brace was, told her I have the product # & the lady I spoke to was RUDE! Funny, I didn't get through till after the 3day return window was up! So for my insurance, which is Independent BCBS, my deductible had to be met to get *some* coverage on the brace. The hand/thumb brace #79-87305 will be billed at $293 to my insurance (not sure if it's billed same amount to all insurances?) Check Amazon 1st if haven't met deductible or insurance coverage isn't that good coz it's A LOT CHEAPER that way & just as good!!!! Wish I would've done that instead,but now I'm stuck with an overpriced brace

Ridiculous! I was charged $252.33 for a walking boot that sells for $70 on Amazon. See what they're trying to fit you with, then go buy it anywhere else!

The people at this company should be ashamed of themselves. Was billed $95 dollars for an arm band that is $15 online... same make and model. This company is as criminal as it gets. I will do anything I can to stay away from doctors offices that work with them. Absolutely pathetic.

Met with Elizur representative at doctor s office to order orthotics. Virtually no information was given to me and I was asked to sign on an iPad to initiate the order. Later that day I received an email with a copy of the lengthy agreement I had supposedly signed . Among other things it stated that I had already received the custom orthotics!! This company is clearly not reputable. In fact, I don t think I ll be returning to the doctor either; he doesn t seem to have checked these people out.

Do not use auto pay ever or avoid altogether if possible. They will take money out of your account at their discretion without your authorization, even after you have made prior arrangements.

Front entrance is NOT clearly marked. Staff waits on you as if you are interrupting their day.

Recently, following a knee injury, my wife received from her orthopedic practitioner a brace which required no special alterations, a product that sells for $179 on Amazon. Elizur was the provider for this item, charging $889 for this item. Upon contact, they only claimed that this was the price set by the manufacturer of the product. To be clear, the product required no alteration / fitting by the orthopedic practitioner. (Indeed, it was not even given to us by the MD but, rather, only by a medical assistant.) There was no recourse. Such practices stink to high heaven, and even if Elizur is only part of an overall scam by the entire supply line here, this kind of pricing is criminal. We live in a generally impoverished area. It is a shame to think that the people around us would just be bilked like this, all so a bunch of medical sales people and manufacturers can make uncontested billing claims. I hope that these companies get investigated some day for this kind of practice which is part of the filth and lies undergirding the medical system in the US.

Word to the wise: never take any product from your doctor without inquiring. It is a shame to have to say this, but welcome to the greedy world where such people get to profit from others with impunity.

I was given a plastic air boot for my foot after being seen at UPMC. A bill comes in the mail from Elizur for $371.37. UPMC discount took it down to $252.33. I only caught it after searching the unknown company name and read the reviews on here.

This boot can be purchased from many medical supply companies for $80. That includes shipping. The sad part is that by the time you arrive at this review, the scam is over.

My dr gave me a med boot for surgery that I had. Well, we got over a $250.00 bill that we had to pay in a few days and I looked up this boots price online, it costs $70.00 or less. Stay away. This is fraud.

Stay away from this company! My 10 year old son had a small walking boot when he injured his leg. They charged us $371 for it, when it can be found for $50 online. They purposely do not disclose their pricing as no one would do business with them if they saw what they charge. When I called to dispute the charge, they blamed our insurance company. The problem isn't the insurance company, it's the outrageous price you charge for the item!

if I could give negative ratings I would; I only chose the 1 star so I could post a review. This company is awful to deal with. Must pay SUPER close attention to the very tiny details or you are stuck paying an astronomical amount over & above your insurance even if you don't use the apparatus. You can NOT return it for a refund either. Be very aware when your doctor uses Elizur Corp.

Please be aware if your doctor uses Elizur as a supplier. The company had the retail price for a sling at almost $1000 and between my copay and what the insurance paid collected over $700 for an item that could be purchased for $150 - $200. Love the job my doctor is doing, hate the fact they are associated with such a scam.
