My group of 4 (flew to florida) chartered this boat July 2016 for good reviews,we arrived on time, no captain, no ice, no fuel (things should've been done prior to boarding the boat) it took about 2 hours to get the boat ready.then we moved out, shortly we got into a school of AJs and got our limit in about 30 minutes,,awsome, then a long ride, second stop we didn't fish, third stop, the mate handled 2 rods to 2 of us only, then he and the captain started fishing while the other 2 of us sitting and watching, after 10 minutes I asked the mate why he didn't give us rods to fish, his answer "there is nothing you can do more than us, we are just trying this area to see whats in here" then I asked the captain, his answer "we don't have rigs", really? so they have gear for themselves to fish while their customers are sitting and watching, how rude is this? this continued for 45 minutes, we didn't pay them to watch them fishing while we dont have gear to fish with especially when we see many rods in the boat but they just didn't want us to fish, by this time i was very upset & lost interest, i made my dissatisfaction very clear to both the mate and the captain several times, a person in my group also did talk to the captain, then the captain tried to make things better, another long ride to the final area which held fish,i had an agreement with the captain to use my electric reel at the time of booking, the mate refused and to everbody's surprise he prevailed over the captain making us wonder, who is really in charge here?so i was given one of their outfits, first big fish the line broke off, i complained the outfit is not working properly,i was given another older one, minutes later the mate cut my main line due to tangle and retied, second big fish and the line breaks off again right at the knot the mate just tied, if i had been allowed using my own reel/line this would not have happened. I was astonished they took this second outfit and gave me the old broken one back?! Wow, wow, wow, as if they dont have but this broken gear onboard , the fact they dont want you to use their better ones.my friends reel didnt work properly either, but didnt say anything, we just gave up on them . Very tedious operation, poor gear, no ready to use rigs were available, several tackle failures, captain didnt come forth on his word, arrogant mate, i fished the entire east coast of the us,never had such bad treatment and horrible experience,. The mate knew they did us wrong,he came to apologize when we got back, way too late,,his apology is NOT accepted, you just don't screw people, ruin their vacation ,then you try to aplogize especially when we brought up the issue more than 5 times throughout the trip, if they were sincere, they would've made it right when we were on the water, they did not.Never again!

If you want to catch fish, Arts Adventures is the charter to book. Very professional and First Mate Dan was awesome and never stopped from start to end. Booked a full day charter on Feb. 17, 2014. Caught a lot of fish, which were also great to eat. Would definitely book with them again.

We all (myself, my husband, three adult daughters and a daughter's husband) had a wonderful fishing trip. Couldn't believe how many fish we caught. Constant action and big fish too! Art was a great captain and knows the best spots and methods. Sebastian was an excellent mate - very helpful and fun. The boat was very comfortable too. A day our family will remember forever. Thanks Art and Sebastian!

Art was recommended by the local marina store, that he was good with children. We had 2 boys ages 10 & 12 that never had been deep sea fishing. So thought he would be a great fit. However, this was not the case, he absolutely has NO personality with children or really with adults. The most arrogant person I've ever met. From the beginning of the trip he had to sell his commercial fish he had caught the day before and could not have commercial customers on the boat when he sold. So he asked us to step back in the cabin so we would not be seen. Then he had not gutted the fish so we had to wait for him to gut the fish before selling. And we we're paying him for this charter, not for him to sell fish. He made my entire family feel like we we're imposing on his boat. When we got out to deep waters he fished, ummm I believe I was paying you to help my family fish. We will do better research in the future - very BAD choice! I will say Sebastian that helps him out on the boat - was awesome - thank goodness for him or the trip would have really been a complete disaster!

My family books a trip with Captain art once or twice a year because we know we will have a great day on the water. Art has several great spots and puts you right on top of the fish, and his mate Sebastian knows exactly how to find and pull in every kind of fish. He even taught me special ways to bait. I have never come back disappointed- Thanks Captain Art!

I had the pleasure going out with Captain Art and his Mate Sebastian 12/2/17. We had an excellent experience and Captain Art sure knows the waters as we caught our bag limit of King Fish along with a number of Sharks, Snappers and Trigger fish. Unfortunately it wasn t quite Red Snapper season as we caught at least three 20-25lbs but released them. All in all was an amazing day of fishing and would recommend them to anyone and will absolutely be going out with them again in the future.

Second time for us with Art and Sebastian. What a great time we had on both trips. They know where the fish are and how to catch them. My family and I will cherish the memories forever. Thank you Art and Sebastian for making our adventure so amazing!!

Capt Art and mate Daniel gave us a great experience on Sunday Sept 16th. 6 of us went out and of all the Charters out that day we were the only ones who caught our limit of Red Snappers. We actually caught more than our fair share and had to release some back (due to regulations). We caught more fish than we than we expected. Mate Daniel worked very hard and everyone had a great time. Capt Art did not waste any time in working to find us fish. I would recommend this Charter

Myself and party was really looking forward to a great time with Capt Art until 2 days before my scheduled trip. Called to check on the status of my trip, as he requested, and was told " oh, l got somebody else scheduled for that day". Obviously he doesn't keep any records of future customers. Then was told" well I'm going to be in the Bahamas". Which is the real story? Be careful booking with this guy.

My mother, father, two sons, and myself went out for an afternoon with Captain Art on November 25, 2013. We had a blast! Captain Arts first mate, Daniel, was the most polite, hardest working gentlemen we could have asked for on our trip. We were treated to Captain Art's "honeyhole" and the fishing couldn;t have been better. We all reeled until our arms were tired and had a box full of fish as well. Thank you again Captain Art and Daniel. We WILL be back!

We can't say enough about our trip with Captain Art and First Mate Kelvin! What an amazing day. We caught Kingfish, a Sailfish and countless Snapper. Captain and Kelvin took the time teach us technique and general offshore fishing knowledge. We been on many charters but have never had such a great day!

I called on a Friday (today) for a Monday full day charter after being recommended to go here by another charter. He, unfortunately, was booked for the entire month and the call ended. 2 minutes later he called me back to tell me how bad the conditions would be on Monday with 5/6 ft waves and urged to go out on Sunday instead as it was poised to be a beautiful day. He still was booked for Sunday, but I just had to give him a 5 star review for going out of the way to call me back so that my friends and I would have a good time on the ocean EVEN when it wouldn't benefit him at all. 110% customer service. Captain Art, I will spread your name and always call you first any time we have the deep sea itch. Thank you!

We had an awesome experience on my Bachelor party. My best man did his research on this trip and hit the jackpot! Art and Sebastian were awesome. Art put us on top of fish all day and him and Sebastian had us set up and reeling in fish one after another. I can tell you at the end of our day all of our arms were worn out. From this trip we decided to all set up a savings pool to do it again and again. See you soon Art and keep up the awesome charter!
