Little Henri, Thornbury Review

Waste of time, over priced food with nothing on the plate, left feeling hungry and disappointed.
overall the food experience was terrible.

Always good killer big breakfast smoothies of the day are also really good

Everything!!!! Food was fast and delicious. Staff really go above and beyond!

Thank you to the owner who sold us a loaf of bread when we couldn't get any in these weird times - even though pretty sure they don't usually sell bread. What a decent guy.

Service was great, food was delicious. Funky place.

Had to change my review, as they added a surcharge! Don't understand why you needed to add a surcharge, went in there the other day and there were a lot of people (the cafe was pretty much full). And they are also wanting to hire more staff.

The food was good. Service, very accomodating especially as we had a amall child. Only comment would be - is it trying too hard to be cool and hipster?

This is an absolute hidden gem (unless you live in the area). I have done a literal global tour of Avocado smash and NONE has ever beaten this avo smash. The zucchini fritters are also very inspiring. Haven't had better fritters anywhere in Melbourne. Worth the journey out if you're not local. Sometimes hectically busy which might mean your food comes before your coffee but always worth the wait. Coffee on point too. Finally decided after many years to actually write these guys a review.

Fantastic menu and service. Even at peak time there was seating available.

Good food and service. The court yard is large and spacious. Very relaxed and inviting place.

Have been to little Henri a few times and usually it s quite good but today was such a let down.

Shortly after arriving a lovely guy came to take our coffee order and very quickly after a girl came to take our food order, we asked for just a few more minutes to decide what to eat. We were then left sitting there forever ? She just didn t come back and was standing behind the counter with another girl also just standing there doing very little

Our whole table tried to make eye contact to indicate we were ready and one of the girls looked at us dead in the eye and ignored out signal to order. So we just sat and waited even longer until finally they came to take our order... not a good start.

My food was awful today too... I had the vegan breakfast burrito and it was just really bland and lacked flavour? Quite dry inside and had no sort of sauce :(

So a disappointing visit today, not sure how quickly I ll be back sadly :(

Great portions and the vibe was great. However the the onion rings were a little too oily for me.

The high chair and was extremely dirty and had things flying off. I had to go to the trouble of asking for it to be cleaned and there was some animosity about it. Cutlery served I communal pots is strange during these times. And my cup for my coffee was dirty.
Food was nice though - I have changed my rating to reflect this. But won't be back sorry.

Very disappointing. Service was so slow, food was waiting over 5 minutes for someone to collect while staff chatted and polished cutlery, very happy I didn t order hot food! Won t be back!

We had an amazing meal at Little Henri today. The coffees were expertly made and there were a good number of choices. The chai latte was also really flavorful. We had 3 meals: Henri s Vegie Breaky (with a side of hollandaise) was fantastic and filling and obviously used very fresh ingredients; Roasted Pork Belly was rich and plentiful and included a side of fennel salad deliciously flavored with oranges and capers; Coconut Pancakes were beautifully textured and covered in plump and yummy berries. The serving sizes were plentiful and we were definitely full by the end of our meal. Additionally, the restaurant was at one time a bank and so was spacious and comfortable and still features cool things like the old bank safe. We will be back soon!

Great coffee and food and a nice outdoor area out back.
