A beautiful cafe in Thornbury. Firstly the venue itself is stunning, a beautiful mix of old and new interior which sets a nice vibe to the place. They have a lovely menu with a variety of options from brunch and lunch to baguettes and salads. We ordered the Coconut Pancakes, Zucchini Fritters and Smashed Avo with thyme buttered mushrooms and feta. Every dish was delicious, we will definitely be back soon for the more pancakes!!

Another eclectic minimally renovated "Art Deco" cafe .....

Endless Melbournians' artistic talent .... Must commend the proprietor for setting up this establishment; Art Deco inspired black frame glass entrance door, bentwood chairs, custom timber tables, ingenious placement of reading lights row, industrial lights, Art Deco curved glass timber bar display, huge safety deposit door, semi-open kitchen, etc. Very cozy "old" semi bar ambiance.

Euro inspired Courtyard at the back is very well set up, undercover, gas heater, looks warm and very inviting.

A bit lacking on the display, bare to be exact at around 9:30 am; a couple muffins, mini bacon & egg burgers and croissants.

Dark Grass Green La Marzocco on the bench looks stunning and their Soy Latte too at $4, not so is the $5 plain Croissant.

Will check out their Menu next time, thank you.

The food quality and presentation has increased recently. I enjoyed the French Toast with a side of bacon and my friend enjoyed the Pumpkin Dukkah Eggs. Both delicious and filling. Great coffee too.

Little Henri isn't very little in fact its quite big. I absolutely loved the interior space and would come back just for that. The food plating was very creative, however the potato hash was a bit flour-y in the centre and the chorizo a bit too salty/spicy for my liking. Otherwise I'd come back especially in Summer for the gorgeous courtyard.

It is hard to go wrong at Little Henri's on the corner of High street and Dundas this cafe is a sure bet for a bite out. With great access to parking nearby (there is a Woolworths shopping complex in walking distance.) decent menu offerings and good coffee there isn't much to complain about. the interior is has ample seating (unsure if there is child seating) and your biggest problem is likely going to be how busy the place can get. For those who must bring children this isn't really a child friendly cafe (not that many are).

Everything I've had on the menu is fresh and full of flavour. They do an amazing chai latte too! Always friendly service and the cafe itself has a great atmosphere. Probably my favourite place for brunch in Melbourne.

Little Henri is bigger than it feels: it's got a large outdoor seating area with a choice between shade and sunlight. Great service, good menu with a particularly good bloody Mary and GREAT sweets selection.

Great variety on the menu, plenty to choose from. Mango Bliss smoothie was a refreshing treat to start with. Chilli scrambled eggs were quite bland and could do with a sauce of some kind. Zucchini and corn fritters were delicious but a little small. The service was great and the outdoor area was nice.

The house made Baked Beans are the best and go great with a whole bunch of sides! Good smoothies although they are often too berry focused. 3 Cheese Toastie is another winner but if you re looking for something less breakfast and more lunch go the Pork Belly - it s a decent size serve and delicious! Staff are friendly and the massive outdoor area out the back is great for the dogs!

Service was dreadfully slow, restaurant was half full, we were told 25 mins after ordering our drinks that they couldn't do a fresh squeezed juice and if bottled juice was alright. One of our companions opted for the sweet berri bottled alternative. My drink never came, food arrived and drinks followed half way through the meal. The food was good but 2 poached eggs on toast with spinach and haloumi should not be 18 dollars. A little overpriced but no biggie. The service was bad, food was good. Go when they are quiet.

I'm a local and was initially pretty happy and pleased with Little Henri in the early days, but it's become very inconsistent and sloppy this year. I was keen to support the business throughout the pandemic and made frequent Uber Eats orders of food and coffee (at least once or twice a week, if not more), however today will be my last. Every second order has incorrect items and my special order notes, which are pretty simple requests for the toast with my eggs to be well buttered, are usually ignored. Even if I accept the bag straight from the driver and they've come from the restaurant within 5-10 min, the food is stone cold. Virtually every order has to be reported to Uber Eats as incorrect, however there's only so much they can do about the low effort put in by the restaurant and it's time to cut my losses. There's always the right name on the bag, but frequently the wrong item in it. Definitely could not recommend ordering take away from here any more, but likely the management and owners wouldn't care as long as they can get diners in. Luckily there's plenty of other venues in the area that are very detail-oriented with take away and keen to produce food to a high standard regardless of how customers interact with the business!

Lovely food and great service. It was very busy on a Monday public holiday. 15% surcharge on public holidays.
Decor is really eclectic, and the old bank vault behind the bar is really wonderful. The overhead lights and padded bench seats along one wall, provide a very pleasant ambience. Floral arrangements and an assortment of furniture add an extra dimension to this eatery. Golden turmeric latte was very good. The haloumi and slow cooked tomato special was delicious. Ricotta pancakes looked great too. Thoroughly recommended.

Very disappointed...cafe was open for another 30 minutes and we walk in (just wanting coffees) and the man (assumed owner) behind the counter says "just take away?" - we wanted to sit in the courtyard for all of 15-20 mins. He then told us he had cleaned it all up and made it quite clear he was not happy with us staying. Lost your self a new customer buddy...we've just moved in super close by.

Stumbled in by chance and very glad we did so. The place was packed but we were seated in a few minutes. Unlike many places so busy the service was excellent, very courteous and coffee and food appeared before you knew it. And the food was excellent, we had the bacon &corn hash and the omelette and would thoroughly recommend. We even had to grab a muffin as we left, which was jus was nice. Thank you so much to all the staff, we'll be back in next time we're passing.
