I checked out Little Henri on a Sunday morning arriving around 10:30. This place was hopping! Lots of full tables, I was able to grab a seat by the window.
Service was fast which surprised me given how full the venue was.
Coffee - excellent.
I had the corn fritters with salmon. The combination of the salmon, fritters and horseradish cream was perfect.
Overall this is a fantastic venue, very industrial look from the outside but a pleasant surprise when you get in. I will be coming back for sure.
Easily accessed with the 86 tram, jump out where High street splits.

I love this place especially the butterscotch pancakes. They used to come out with warm butterscotch sauce but now it's served cold, as fear the butter would split from the sauce. Please start serving it warm again, it never used to split from the sauce and was sooo yummy. Service is always wonderful.

Looks like something has changed at little henris. Took 1.5 hrs to get breaki and food was just not moving out of the kitchen in any hurry. Omelette has too changed. The flavour is confused with the new cauliflower spice. It was horrible couldn't eat it and ontop of that to have to wait 1.5hrs for breaki wont be back.

Decent cafe on high street. Food and coffee are both ok but nothing special. Had the meusli recently which was underwhelming and felt a bit like Woolies meusli and had no fruit or other garnishments. Staff were pretty nice and the space is nice. There are many better options in the area however.

My partner and I just had our wedding here, and it absolutely perfect. Samira was wonderful, and worked with us throughout all the challenges of changing our original date due to lockdown, and gave us so many beautiful options for our ceremony and reception. We were able to have a three course meal, outside dining in the evening, with a live jazz band. The drinks package was generous, and the food was excellent, and the pricing extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend!

Classic cafe food done well, coffee and a small but well thought out selection of alcoholic beverages for when you feel so inclined. Also has a lovely large outdoor area over two levels which is great when you have a pup and pram in tow.

My partner found Little Henri whilst searching for a venue for our post wedding brunch. From the moment I first called, Borris and his team were warm and accomodating. They agreed to host 45 people for a brunch on a Saturday morning which we thought would never happen! When we arrived we had a whole area of the courtyard to ourselves and the space was lovely. The courtyard was just gorgeous surrounded by greenery and lush foliage. The food and coffee were delicious and the service was impeccable considering how difficult it was collecting orders and serving food for such a large group. I cannot recommend this place and this team highly enough!

The venue is great and so is the food. The staff were great but seemed a little stretched to be able to give you that extra love you want on a Saturday arvo. We had the bacon, corn and potato hash and the veggie breaky. Both very filling and flavourful. Have to mention the chorizo accompanying the potato hash was spicy, but exactly what it needed! Definitely a dish I'd reccommend! Coffee was amazing as well, so a must visit for brunch lovers!

Even though the food was quite good, the ambiance of the outside was one of grubby disrepair and neglect. There are piles of cigarette butts at the rear entrance and around the trunks of the trees in the outside area. Tables and seats were grimy and dirty.
Very disappointing.

A favourite coffee and breakfast spot on the bustling High Street strip on the Preston/Thornbury border. The service here is exceptional, relaxed and warm. We ve had some great chats with the staff, who take a great deal of pride in what they do. Some good vegan and meaty food options. A ripper Bloody Mary, too!

Poached eggs were a lil over (people rush maybe) and coffee could have been hotter (hot day maybe). Besides that everything was great atmosphere and staff were tops. Enough space for a pram too. I think il come back for sure.

Food is great! Have been here several times and cannot fault the coffee or menu. The staff are always quick to take your order and you don t have to wait too long for the food to arrive. Favorite is the smashed Avo whilst my partner enjoyed the lemon ricotta pancakes.

Payment process at the end is a little awkward as the staff behind the counter always seem too busy to process the payment and you end up standing there a little lost for a bit.

Came here for some brunch with the family, kid friendly for our little one.
The French Toast was a real winner and the Outdoor courtyard is a nice touch. And the coffee was spot on. Would recommend.

Stale pancakes on new years day, not an ideal start to the year. Ordered through Uber Eats, chasing a refund. I'd never in my life tasted stale pancakes, now I have. So tough to cut, and inedible, threw them out after 1 bite, that's a first for me. Just appalling that you'd even consider serving these and at $20.00 too. yikes for you.

Oily calamari, obviously don't change oil.
Had to ask for for lemon with grilled cheese. Mezza plate pathetically sparse. Ordered drink didn't arrive still on bill. Three servers working two tables of customers. Incredibly disappointed after an amazing father's Day lunch. Stay away until they lift their game.

Ordered the French toast, which looked greay but was sickly sweet. Very loud in the main dining area but the courtyard was nice. Staff were friendly, but maybe go here just go just for the coffee and give the food a miss.

Massively underwhelming! The "pancakes" were pre-made and reheated. Stodgy and fake, they weren't even heated right through. The baked beans were overly spiced and the haloumi, which according to the menu appeared as if it should have featured in the meal, was little more than an afterthought with a scant amount grated on top of the beans. Nice bacon though. The Deliveroo and other food delivery services were CONSTANTLY in and out of the joint and to the man left the front door open everytime (alternative entry or service area??)...and do i mention the garden blowers 15 minute feature performance (that's a job that really needs doing before the cafe is open to the public!!). We enjoyed the coffee but the overall experience cost >$40...and a nice cup of coffee isn't just that hard to find. Ordinary.

Efficient service. Good staff. Not super friendly but not rude and I'm not wanting to make my new best friend when I'm eating lreakfast (I hate the word brunch). Coffee was really good. I ordered the baked beans and added a poached egg. The egg was pretty good, although I found the gremolata distracting. I know it's there for balance, but at that particular time I wasn't after balance, I wanted tasty baked beans. That was my fault, not theirs. The cafe looks great but is REALLY QUITE LOUD. Overall, goid job Little Henri.

This place totally rocks! There is so much seating in different parts of the cafe that you can be in a discreet corner, long table, high table, look out the window onto High Street, out the back in the sun or out the back in the atrium area. Soooo many choices.
We arrived at 10.30 at it had about 15 people there, many were coming and going to get coffee.
My girlfriend and I had a brunchy meal. I asked for an iced coffee but it came with ice cream - I'm trying to train some baristas that I want a shot of coffee with milk and ice - that's it! But it was nice albeit I'm now fatter because of all that icecream (LOL).
Staff are lovely. Service was fast. Told this place rocks on the weekend with regulars. Toilets clean. Parking plentiful although there is a time limit out the front. Parking up near the Aldi 50m away is fine.
Will return to explore the menu in more detail.

Have been to little Henri a few times and usually it s quite good but today was such a let down.

Shortly after arriving a lovely guy came to take our coffee order and very quickly after a girl came to take our food order, we asked for just a few more minutes to decide what to eat. We were then left sitting there forever ? She just didn t come back and was standing behind the counter with another girl also just standing there doing very little

Our whole table tried to make eye contact to indicate we were ready and one of the girls looked at us dead in the eye and ignored out signal to order. So we just sat and waited even longer until finally they came to take our order... not a good start.

My food was awful today too... I had the vegan breakfast burrito and it was just really bland and lacked flavour? Quite dry inside and had no sort of sauce :(

So a disappointing visit today, not sure how quickly I ll be back sadly :(

Food and coffee's ok. But would be keen to try other items in the menu. Ordered the crispy pork scrambled eggs. It was pretty average. The food also weirdly arrived before our coffees(coffees were ordered before the food).
They do need to fix their door though. It kept slamming closed because it was extremely windy that day. There is a sign on the glass door asking people to close it behind them, but noone did and the wind was so strong, it would just slam shut and get stuck.
