The exhibits were unique, staff was friendly, and the price (free) can't be beat!
The M.I.T believe that it is a sample of the best in study and technological advances. Obligatory visit.
Dude I just saw Bowling Balls held together by marble. I guess on the upside it is free, and thats super cool of MIT to do this; but snooty rich kids and pretentious "art" really makes this place a drag. Go literally *anywhere* else.
Good exhibits in a modern space. The perfect coda to a tour of the MIT campus.
A beautiful contemporary art museum. They have a nice website where you can find the schedule of all shows that are coming up. Cool gallery opening nights with vegetarian and vegan friendly options of food + tasty wines. Nice conversations, amazing art experiences and a meaningful contemporary art - these are the things you get at the LIST.
Not a bad place to see a band. Movie theater set-up, no food or beverage service.
Cool exhibits featuring thematic modern art and MIT students work. Small space and only a few works, but admission is free and it s housed in a beautiful, architecturally interesting building.
Always a great experience at the List! This show in particular really stood out! Curation was really clever.
They give out original Picasso and alikes to their students for a year to take home. Imagine that!!?
Nice exhibition with rotating themes, Norway location, and it s free! Thanks MIT
Beautiful MIT wants everyone to care about art just go and its free
Has interesting shows, many
Quite thought provoking. A must see if you're on campus. Free to the public!
A nice set of small galleries with well curated contemporary art shows on the MIT campus. Maybe a little too small at times. Easy to absorb all the works on display in an hour or so. The Weisner building and its public art installations are a treat in themselves.
Saw two great shows. Aicja Kwade and Farah Al Qasimi.
The art pieces were contemporary when I went, had a lot of variety from all different types of artists.
Saw Ericka Beckman's special exhibit, Double Reverse. Worth a short visit to see the four short avant garde videos. Plan 10-15 minutes
