This place (as well as Toyota) is dishonest. They are the archetypal of using the warranty loopholes they created for themselves to cheat customers.

I have a 2018 RAV4 with about 22k (due to the pandemic, not much driving in the past year). Then couple of days ago the driver side rear wheel stopped turning. I had the car towed to Lipton Toyota and the diagnosis is all four breaks have rusted and they are considered "normal wear and tear" and are not covered under even the standard 36k/3yr warranty.

My car is just a month and half out of warranty.

I knew they were cheating me because if you have a car sitting for a while, there will be rusts on the brake disks. Just look at the new cars at the dealer lots. My car sat in my garage for a week since the last time I drove it. The inside of the rim has a lot of grease accumulated on the rim wall. The other 3 wheels are clean and no grease. This indicates there is some kind of leak of brake fluids.

But "wear and tear" is their diagnosis. I'm not an auto mechanic and I don't have the tools and equipment to dispute their diagnosis. Clearly they knew this warranty loophole and used it to swindle customers.

I called Toyota and you can guess the response. They don't care about their reputation.

Has anyone driven a car with such low mileage that needs to have 4 rusted brakes replaced? They knew if they found fault with the brake, then it would be hard for Toyota to not to compensate for the repair although it is just out of warranty. If they did that, they had to make a lot less money because Toyota wouldn't have paid that much for the warranty work. So they used this warranty loophole. Toyota knows what the dealer is doing and may be even the one encouraging dealers to swindle customers.

If anyone at Lipton Toyota reads this, they know who I am. Sure enough, I'll not go back to this place again.

Call Lipton Toyota to make an appointment to service my car for 5:30pm. The lady told me to go to door number 4, I brought my Toyota to service for the first time. This is my first Toyota. They took my information and let me wait for almost 2 hours. when everyone was leaving, that when they acknowledge me and told me I never came to the desk to talk to the technician. Therefore, your car was not service. Great job Lipton Toyota in providing good service. I'll take my business somewhere else.

This dealership literally tried to feed my little brother to the wolves. Tried selling him a USED car with over 2k miles by calling it "practically new" and with an interest rate of over 15%. I got him hooked up with a more ethical dealership who got him a NEW Camry for less than their USED one, and got him a 3.6 interest rate, saving him over $14k over what he would have spent with Lipton Toyota. SHAME ON YOU LIPTON TOYOTA! Tried to ruin my little brother financially in his first car purchase.

My mother also took her Camry here for service recently and they tried very hard to pressure her to sell her car to them. What a terrible place.

Started a deal with Erick Matos back in august. We decided to cancel the deal and called back the same week. It took many calls to get a hold of someone. Finally, I was told that it was canceled by a manager three days after my initial call. Surprisingly no one fully canceled the deal because they charged the down payment assistance Toyota credit card for a vehicle that was never signed and purchased. And now this card that we did not know existed since the deal was never finalized is late and on my credit score. After calling multiple times to get this resolved it is clear that no one at this dealership knows what they are doing. They told me to call financing who of course has no record of this purchase because it was never finalized so there is no loan to look up in our name. And the VIN of the vehicle is under someone else's information because it was sold to someone else. The credit card company says they can dispute it but it will take a while usually 60-90 days and that the best option would be for the dealership that made the mistake to simply refund it.

In conclusion the credit card company and financing both have no control over it because the dealership chooses to charge a down payment for a deal that was never finalized and signed for. Once I realized that the dealership has to take care of this I called to speak to a manager. The sales team answering the phone hung up multiple times as I tried to reach a manager. I don't know what kind of people working in customer service think hanging up the phone on a client is acceptable behavior. I can not imagine what these employees would do with someone who was actually rude to them because I was simply insisting to speak to a manager. After four hours of calling I was able to leave a message to the General Manager. Had any of these incompetent sales associates actually listened to my complaint they would have realized that this issue required the attention of upper management and transferred me. It is clear that everyone from this sales team does not know how to actually provide customer service. Do not do business with these people.

Avoid this dealership at all costs!! They will sell you a car and provide very poor maintenance service in return. I have a Toyota Highlander which needed new brakes 18 months ago. My brakes were replaced and shortly afterwards I noticed a very loud grinding sound. I was about to return to the dealer when I got sick with severe covid. I couldn t return until 6 months afterwards. My appointment was on a Saturday. Several hours into the appointment, I get a call that they did not hear any sound. I asked to speak to the manager who offered to have it re-evaluated the next day. On Sunday, the manager calls me back and apologizes. He states that he personally drove the car and heard the sound immediately. He inspected it and found that the brakes were installed backwards! He fixed the problem and I picked up my car. Fast forward until today. I needed regular maintenance and brought in my car for my 11:30 appt. My husband also dropped off his Camry. We went back home and at 3:30pm, neither of us had gotten a call! They were closing at 4. Then I noticed a message on my phone at 1pm from the service department. I thought it was my service person Hunter who had called to advise my car was ready. When I called him back he stated that my car needed front brakes and that they couldn t complete it today because they were closing in 30 minutes. I was annoyed for not receiving a second courtesy call in the last 3 hours but contemplated on leaving my car there overnight. My husband had left his car in the morning as well and was attacked by the sales sharks when he entered the service department. Apparently, the ticket that he was to turn in to his service man got lost in the shuffle and they hadn t even serviced his car! So it s 15 minutes to 4pm and these people have an unfinished car and an un serviced car on their lot yet they didn t even bother to update their customers for the entire day!! When we said we were picking up our cars, they said well if you don t come by 4pm when we close, then there will be no one here
To give you the keys. What a way to provide costumer service!! At the end, I had to call the manager to complain yet again he finally agreed to leave the keys with the Sales manager. People..save yourself the headache!! I m sure our other South Florida Toyota dealerships will be happy to take Lipton s business!!!!

I give this place zero stars

I give this place zero stars

I came in to get a front fender liner repair. I looked it up on YouTube and it seemed like an easy fix but unfortunately I am on a road trip and do not have the tools to do it myself.

I decided to take it to a Toyota dealer mechanic shop knowing it would be more expensive than a mom and pops but I wanted to make sure it was done the right way. Well it took four trips to the dealer to fix it and I ended up telling them what was missing. And we re talking about screws and extra parts and improper installation. After four trips, six hours of commuting, and six hours of waiting, I think my car is fixed.

I decided to talk to a manager because this was beyond bad service and it could be a dangerous situation for me on the road. Basically he told me it was too late because my car was already done. He did offer other services if they come up but that is not why I complained. I was expecting him to at least ask me who worked on my car to ensure this issue doesn t happen again. The service advisor blamed it on a language barrier with the mechanic. This is not an appropriate excuse because it is used to transport lives and loved ones.

If it wasn t for YouTube, I would not have known better. I would not recommend going here and trusting them to ins . Don t bother replying to the email they send about your experience. They won t reply which is why I wrote my review on Yelp .

I will keep it simple and to the point...no BS, great service, staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I literally found a car, made a deal and I was finished with everything within an 1:15 minutes. If this attention to customer service is kept up, there is no reason to go to another Toyota dealership.
