Started a deal with Erick Matos back in august. We decided to cancel the deal and called back the same week. It took many calls to get a hold of someone. Finally, I was told that it was canceled by a manager three days after my initial call. Surprisingly no one fully canceled the deal because they charged the down payment assistance Toyota credit card for a vehicle that was never signed and purchased. And now this card that we did not know existed since the deal was never finalized is late and on my credit score. After calling multiple times to get this resolved it is clear that no one at this dealership knows what they are doing. They told me to call financing who of course has no record of this purchase because it was never finalized so there is no loan to look up in our name. And the VIN of the vehicle is under someone else's information because it was sold to someone else. The credit card company says they can dispute it but it will take a while usually 60-90 days and that the best option would be for the dealership that made the mistake to simply refund it.

In conclusion the credit card company and financing both have no control over it because the dealership chooses to charge a down payment for a deal that was never finalized and signed for. Once I realized that the dealership has to take care of this I called to speak to a manager. The sales team answering the phone hung up multiple times as I tried to reach a manager. I don't know what kind of people working in customer service think hanging up the phone on a client is acceptable behavior. I can not imagine what these employees would do with someone who was actually rude to them because I was simply insisting to speak to a manager. After four hours of calling I was able to leave a message to the General Manager. Had any of these incompetent sales associates actually listened to my complaint they would have realized that this issue required the attention of upper management and transferred me. It is clear that everyone from this sales team does not know how to actually provide customer service. Do not do business with these people.
