Lindner Hotel & Therme Binshof Review

Nice, (except restaurant) quiet hotel with excellent designed spa area and very, very pleasant applications. Very friendly and mostly competent staff. Room generous, quiet and very clean, nice bathroom - we did not miss anything.
Full breakfast, coffee ok, dinner good, if not outstanding, the wine list still has room for improvement. The noise level in the restaurant, especially in the interior, less clear even in the winter garden was beyond the very pleasant limit - here could be improved acoustically.

You are looking for a place where you can relax? Here he is! Absolute pampering hotel with a cozy feel-good atmosphere. ALL were permanently very friendly, the food was delicious, the breakfast VERY rich. The only problem is the parking lot, if many day guests / conference participants arrive.

The hotel has a strange layout. There is a lot of attention for the spa.
The restaurant is fine for breakfast (very good), but not attractive for dining.
Limited menu and moderate kitchen.
Room is fine.

Unfortunately, the outdoor pool in the sauna area was not so clean. Also the hot tub was very dirty. At the prices in the restaurant cloth napkins would have been nicer and with a bottled wine order you can expect the service to refill. 7.00 euros for a low-quality liquor .... absolutely covered. In my opinion, the situation is exploited here, since nothing is in the immediate vicinity.
The rooms were very nice and clean. Otherwise the staff was very accommodating.
All in all, but the price / performance ratio is not right ....

The biggest point of criticism for me was the completely overcrowded wellness area including annoying bath towel reservations, which you didn't meet personally. The loungers in the swimming pool are close together, you feel cramped.
My partner was extremely satisfied with the spa treatments. The saunas are great but also overcrowded. Overall, we promised each other more.

We had a short wellness weekend and were very satisfied. The staff at the reception, in the restaurants and also with the applications are very friendly. We felt safe with the hygiene concept in all areas of the hotel and especially at the breakfast buffet we didn't have the impression that we had missed anything. The food in the Salierhof is priced a bit too high, we liked the Spanish better. We would recommend the hotel.

Great hotel, only the mobile air conditioning in the room I found weird. Otherwise happy.

Unfortunately, we were not enthusiastic about our stay. Based on the good reviews, we booked a room from Friday to Sunday at the Lindner Hotel & Spa Binshof.

***Room***
The entire hotel complex is in very good condition and the rooms are clean. The staff courteous and friendly.

***Spa area***
The wellness area looks more extensive on pictures online. Unfortunately, the textile-free area is a lot larger. We didn't test the saunas, but we weren't really enthusiastic about the rest either. The water temperature could generally be 2.3 degrees warmer. The loungers were unfortunately all occupied with hand towels, so that we had no space to lie down or to put our things. Otherwise generally clean.

***Eat***
We had booked half board and were very disappointed with the food. There was a buffet, including red cabbage, spaetzle, roast, various starters and desserts.
The appetizers (salad, shrimp, pate) were delicious and freshly made. The main courses were all lukewarm and didn't taste good. The desserts consisted of ready meals and from the freezer - unfortunately not enjoyable. All in all, the food failed us!

What also bothered us was the distribution of the tables. We felt like 20cm of space to the next table. There is definitely room for improvement here. Unfortunately, almost every table in the area wobbled, including ours.

The breakfast was just as disappointing, we found cold cuts and cheeses, warm-up rolls and croissants and pretzels (from the pack !!). There was also yogurt and fruit, but very little choice. Unfortunately we didn't like it at all. Except for the bread, which was probably baked by ourselves, we found it very tasty.

***Miscellaneous***
What we also found very annoying were the day guests. Sure, usually not a problem. But with the greetings from the spa area and the total number of loungers, there is definitely room for improvement!

Because of this disappointment, we left a day earlier. Unfortunately, the Lindner Hotel & Soa Binshof didn't impress us at all. The name probably has an even higher reputation than the hotel actually gives.

Great hotel & spa, with exceptional good qualified employees. We stayed at this hotel a few months ago. Good room with decent bathroom. Love the spa and sauna (no clothes area) to be used on the day of arrival till the day of departure. The restaurant serves excellent breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended

It's just getting old. Cracked tiles in e.g. Bad, heavily worn blinds on the windows and the decor is just not so up to date. Wellness areas are also overhauled again. On the whole ok, but the price / performance ratio does not fit anymore. Please do something.

Overall, the hotel convinces as a spa / wellness hotel. The rooms are stylish, functional and large. The food is sensationally good. Sometimes you think it would be a star restaurant. The service staff is extremely friendly and competent.

We had a few stressful days in Speyer and decided because of the high temperatures for a hotel with outdoor pool and air-conditioned room. A good choice- the spa area made for decelerated evenings and the air conditioning for pleasant sleep temperatures.

The stay was absolute class. We had a great, big and air conditioned room. The food was great and the breakfast buffet was awesome, with everything, or even more, which you actually need. The staff is very friendly in all areas, better is not better. Despite the fact that the hotel was almost fully booked, we had enormous peace and were almost always alone in the sauna and pool, really great organize everything. The only thing we really regretted there is that we had not booked any longer. We will definitely come back!

The area is very suitable for cycling tours. Bicycles can be rented from the hotel.

Very good solutions were found in order to comply with the official guidelines and the hygiene regulations with great care, so that you can feel completely at ease as a guest.
In all areas, from the reception, restaurant, Rhassoul to massage etc. you will find a very friendly, competent staff.
The Spanish restaurant with an inviting terrace by the pond is really a culinary enrichment and a nice change from the very tasty regional dishes and wines of the hotel restaurant.
The sound light bath in the brine grotto should not be missed. When floating in the 38 degrees warm salt water you will find complete deep relaxation.

It is a very clean nice wellness hotel, the staff is very friendly. The saunas are great. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Unfortunately, in the sauna area in bad weather too little rest areas with beach chairs, which are unfortunately reserved by many guests with towels. The hotel is very popular, constantly a lot of tourists. And this is due to the excellent service, a large number of services provided, including the SPA, not to mention the goodwill and responsiveness of the staff.

Everything was right. The breakfast was as always very varied and rich. Especially the many different coffee varieties, very tasty. The dinner in the restaurant was also very good. But there could be more meat choices on the menu.
The spa leaves nothing to be desired. The bistro in the spa is also convenient.
All in all not very cheap, but you treat yourself otherwise nothing else

My visit to the Lindner Hotel Speyer was unique and not worth repeating.
At the beginning of the weekend there was the parking lot
which annoyed me. Not only that you had to pay in. It was also a little further away from the hotel. As a disabled person, this is not optimally solved.

We were looking for a location for our wedding on a Saturday. Despite the fact that we wanted to stay there, we were told that they would not be able to accommodate 8 people on a Saturday. The order of the management would not be external guests on the weekends.

But if we wanted we could stay the night, rooms in each category would still be available.

Beautiful! Very helpful, friendly staff. Minutes from downtown Speyer. Unfortunately I have to take away a star because a few nights i was kept up very late due to people from the bar smoking outside and being very loud.

One of the best hotels I know, with a very nice spa. The staff is very courteous and competent. The food was really delicious, the room is great and the massage outstanding.

For ~ 400 the double room is the parking extra (why not equal price and 410 ?) And on time does not work. We were admitted too early and it was several times "Yes, the same." But nothing happened for about 45min. But the food was very good and the spa area was nice.

Always beautiful. We have been to the Binshof many times and like the relaxed atmosphere that prevails there. The massages at Petra are great, the spa area is clean and there are always enough towels. The staff is friendly and attentive. It was a bit confused at dinner this time, but the friendliness makes up for it. What was new for us was that the main course was not available as a buffet, only starters and dessert. But it was good. What will come back in any case.
